If I could give a zero I would! ER is absolutely horrible! My son laid in what looked like a room all the extra stuff got stuck in. No call button or anything. No blanket or pillow. He laid there for 6 hours and no one even came to check on him or see if he was ok or needed anything. He finally pulled his monitors off thinking it would get their attention in the nurses station. Still no one came. He finally took his wires out to them and asked where they wanted him to put them. He told them no one had been in there to check on him or see if he needed anything. The head nurse literally said "well it doesn't look like you're dying." Very sarcastic.ally. Their care and attitude were totally unacceptable and unprofessional. There was not even a chair to sit on. They saw me come in with a walker because I had my knee replaced. Had to just stand. They are very uncaring! We called an ambulance because he had a seizure. they were not eve going to address that issue until I pushed the issue. Never go there!!!! read more

I hate the a kokomo st Vincent they are rude and misdiagnosis. I'm a electrician and they're telling me that for over 2 years that I y numbness is due to drinking but now after two years now it's up in my stomach and everything in my I can't wiggle my toes so is that right is something else I know I don't have a doctor no I can't see a doctor because I don't have one that's reason why you go to the emergency room so they can tell you something's wrong they ain't s*** they ain't doctors either they nurse practitioners read more

I'd give ZERO stars if I could. Ambulance was called to my house under the presumed circumstances of an overdose (note: u would have to take drugs to overdose), even though I was conscious & awake when the ambulance picked me up & upon arrival to the ER. Reality was that I had had a seizure however this didn't matter to anyone. Not only was I treated like trash but my boyfriend who had initially called 911, was treated the same in the lobby. I have never felt so disrespected by certified caregivers in my life and this only eliminated any trust for my well being I had in them, the ER doctor especially, and the hospital as a whole. I also asked repeatedly for water and was refused until "the doctor has seen me." I don't know why water needs a doctors permission to be given but I did not appreciate that. The worst part of the whole experience was not the mistreatment and disrespect that made me feel like I wasn't worth their time, care, or attention; nor was it the fact that basic human needs such as water could not be met; it was that I was LIED to by a so called "trusted" caregiver. After everything, I did not want to be treated there and no longer felt that I needed it (though I had insisted this already but the EMT's basically told me I HAD to go). I asked if I could leave and the doctor kept saying "I do not think you should leave." or "You just overdosed and you want to leave?" I finally said "I am not asking what you think I am asking if I am allowed to leave." and the doctor said, and I quote, "if you are asking if you are allowed to leave then No, you are not allowed to leave." and walked out. THIS IS A LIE! After 10 min I got up, took off everything but the IV and walked to the station and said I want to leave, and I didn't yell or scream, I said it nicely and sternly. After some argument and my boyfriend backing me up with the "She has rights and you have no right to hold her" speech they finally let me sign paperwork saying that I left on my own accord. So when the doctor told me I could not leave, instead of using his little white lies to loophole through the system, he blatantly and unethically straight up lied to me. I do not appreciate this and this has made me lose trust not only in that doctor, but this ER, the hospital network as a whole, and the health care system overall. I was not once asked if I was okay or if I needed anything. The closest thing to that I was asked was if I had intended to harm myself which is what they are required to ask. I did not feel like I mattered and I certainly did NOT feel cared for. This is NOT okay. You represent a group of individuals that are meant to be relied on and trusted and you betrayed that. To be clear: I understand that there are people that come in who have overdosed, who do refuse treatment, and who do lie. I was not one of them. And even IF I was that does not give someone the right to treat me how I was treated. This is a huge growing problem in ER's all over the country. It's not just that doctors profile patients it's that when they do, whether they are correct or not, they treat them like they're nothing. No one. I repeat. NO ONE, addict or not, overdosed or not, deserves to be treated like that, especially by someone who supposedly is there to take care of our well-being and watch out for our health. You're a doctor, staff member, nurse, etc. working at a place that cares for people. Your judgement should be left at the door. Please don't be confused with my review & think that my issue was that I was an assumed overdose & addict. No, that was only what lead up to the issue of mistreatment and utter lack of respect. This betrayed all my trust I had in this ER & it's staff. I did not feel like I was in good hands nor that I could rely on them to do a good job to care for me. I felt like I would be treated less bc I was treated less. I will never go back to this ER & I strongly advise anyone else NOT to go here either. read more
