Oh, and the warranty after the intial overhaul went down to 1 yr/12K miles and it doesn't cover hard parts? Whoever heard of that crap!!! Every other shop in Baton Rouge area covers hard parts. So we take our time to drive quite a distance there, & to give them business & THAT'S how you treat us? So I called & asked to speak to Steve (manager? owner?). I said, "Listen, let me explain my hubby's situation. It was not right how you handled this. Why didn't you just call him? We would have waited to come." He was not even apologetic to me. Kept repeating "things were out of my control"..and then, after I told him it WAS in his control to call and let us know ahead of time that we could've delayed the visit/work...he hung up on me. Now he wants over 11K for a transmission. Do not bring your vehicle here! They overcharge and will try to get over on you. DO NOT RECOMMEND DOING ANY BUSINESS WITH THEM. They have a waiting room that makes you feel like you are at home. While you wait you can enjoy free soft drinks,coffee,and hot tea which was very nice. On my way out the door the lady at the counter said this patch would last a good while and I may never have to get it repaired which was $150. Well this was not the case. Normally when I would come out in the morning I would have to put a little air in the tire to get me through the day because of the slow leak. After visiting Skid Marks the next morning I came out my car was sitting on the rim. Rather than visiting Skid Marks again I purchases a new rim for the car.
