We have left messages with the receptionist and that very same day Dr. Kovachevich returns our calls. It's rare to hear from your doctor these days. He cares, he's fair (even above and beyond generous) in his billing. The office is always clean and neat. That is huge! We have no problem recommending Dr. Guy Kovachevih.

The nurses and doctors here were nice and very attentive, but they didn't seem to want to talk much other than find out about injuries. Yes, they are suppose to know how was are, how we got hurt, but after they have checked us and are still in the room, it felt a little awkward waiting in silence. They did do a good job checking up on me, but people talk wise, not so much.

After a few months on this regime I became fatigued and eventually could not digest meals (even vomiting) At a follow-up visit after about 3 months, the TSH reading was high and I was put back on my original dose of levothyroxine. It is now another 2 months and my body has still not resumed its prior ability to digest food. As of today I need to add to that list, a hernia surgery performed by Dr. Turner Lisle. Another stellar performance by the excellent surgeons and staff at the excellent Vail Health hospital in Vail, CO. From the moment I checked in at admissions right through to the moment I checked out I was expertly cared for by the entire staff including Cary, Lily, and Grant who were cheerful, charming, and caring at all times making the whole surgery process as smooth and comfortable as any surgery could possibly be. Vail Health's use of the excellent Da Vinci surgical robot (used in both of my knee replacements and the hernia repair) has resulted in minimally invasive and excellent results in all three cases for me, and I highly recommend it. A normal hernia procedure without Da Vinci requires a far larger incision with 6-8 week recovery time, whereas Dr. Lyle has cleared me for near full recovery in 7-10 days. Amazing! I play pickleball 3 hours a day, ride my mountain bike 4-5 days per week, and ski 30-50 days a year, so sports are the focus of my life. I am 68 years old, going on 48 thanks to everyone at Vail Health! cheers!
