It was due to david billing out charges that were not part of the job he was working on for these people. He was overcharging etc. This happened to me as well on the remodeling of a home i hired him to do in sapphire nc. He billed out ridiculous fees and overcharged me for things he sh not have charged me for. I wanted to do a set contract price and he talked me into hourly plus the percentage builders charge. He goofed off alot as well as did his employees. Long lunches as well on numerous occasions. He knew how much i had in my retirement and he took all of it but $4,000! I barely got the job finished. It was a nightmare. I really got taken in the course of getting this job completed. And it sh not have cost what it did. Over $500,000 in remodeling costs for a home that was 1800 sq feet!
