Instead, I found Yellow Cab on Yelp and took a chance. The driver answered my phone call right away, picked me up, and didn't mind stopping by a bank to pick up cash for the fare. I needed him to pick me up a second time at 4:30am in the morning and drop me off at EWR. He confirmed the night before via phone, and also arrived right on time. I stupidly forgot my wallet and we were 75% of the way there. So embarrassing! But he turned around with no complaint and got me back to the airport in time for my flight. Each time I called, my car arrived either early or on time. In one instance, A Amigo drivers were unavailable to pick me up, and instead of turning me down, A Amigo contacted another reputable area driver for me and a clean, courteous ride was at my door in no time! What above and beyond service! In essence, they were going to take care of me no matter what. Drivers are clean, cars are clean, they are white and clearly marked in green. The cares are eco friendly. The drivers drive safely and ask your preference before choosing a route, especially if the original road has traffic. They are honest and fair on pricing. Lowest fares in Princeton, using a meter. Nicest drivers ever! On this visit I was in town to help my Parents, after one had open heart surgery. Without a vehicle I was entirely reliant on A Amigo to help me get around town to run various errands for my Parents and for myself. On one trip to the local market, I informed the driver dropping me off that I would need a pick up in half an hour, and twenty five minutes later as I was checking out, what do I see what an A Amigo car waiting outside for me. The driver had no problem with the wait, was patient and kindly loaded all of my grocery bags into the trunk of the car and secured them in with a bungee cord. Upon arriving at my destination, the driver got out of the car and unloaded each grocery bag for me, even offering to carry them to the front door. I was not charged for any extra wait time at all. What a joy to have the sometimes pain, sometimes hassle of using a car service, entirely joyful and pleasant. There is no other car service for me in Princeton. A Amigo, please go on forever!
