We are not happy with Monmouth Iride. We recently booked with Monmouth Iride service to and back from JFK Airport. We were quoted 300.00 for the round-trip. I called Monmouth Iride a few days prior to our pickup to ask when we would be charged for the $300.00. I was told that we would be charged $150.00 after the pickup from our.home and the remaining $150.00 after we returned from our trip and were picked up at the airport. We were charged $300.00 immediately after our trip to the airport instead of what we were told would be split up to $150.00 after our pickup to the airport. I didn't call Monmouth Iride to ask why they charged me the full amount of their quote. I knew we wiuld be be picked up from the airport in a week from Monmouth Iride and still owe for the remaining $150.00. We returned from our trip and were picked up by a driver from Monmouth Iride and taken home. I was then charged another $300.00 from Monmouth Iride. I called Monmouth Iride and explained that I was charged double, a total of $600.00 to go from Monmouth County NJ to JFK airport and the back to our home. Monmouth Iride owner became nasty and arrogantsaying I was told that the cost was $$600.00 for round-trip from Monmouth County to JFK airport. He's wrong! I WAS CLEARLY RIPPED OFF BY MONMOUTH IRIDE. I will not use their service again and I am not recommending their services for anyone else.​ read more

I had a polite, timely and calm ride to the airport with a driver from Monmouth iRide. My return ride was quite the opposite. Upon touchdown, I informed the driver via text that I had two large bags and a full backpack. I had an additional armful of books. The driver said he was at the cell lot and to let him know when I was ready to meet him at door 4. At nearly midnight, there were a lot of arrivals waiting for luggage and it took some time. The driver had no patience for this. While I was waiting, guarding my belongings and trying to wrangle my bags as they came out, I was being constantly texted and called, but didn't know it, as my phone was in my wallet. As far as I knew, he was waiting in the lot for me to tell him I was ready. When I finally dragged my heavy belongings to door 4, it was mobbed. I moved to door 3, which was much quieter and texted him where I was. What I didn't know was that the car was already stuffed in among the throng of cars outside door 4. I received another text telling me to go to door 4, where the driver was waving his arms wildly for me to come to him. I dragged my belongings to his car. He tossed my suitcase into the back and began taking my belongings apart as I stood bewildered wondering what the panic was about. I took off my heavy backpack and lifted it into the back. I got into the car and pulled the door shut. After my rental car, the door was much lighter and closed a little hard, but was not slammed. The driver came over and began screaming at me asking why I slammed the door. I was so startled by his response that I just said I was tired and to please just take me home. The ride home was silent and scary. The driver blasted out of the airport at full speed. He raced down the Turnpike at speeds up to 90 mph, weaving in and out of lanes despite little traffic. He drove 75 mph on the 55 mph local highway. Although belted in, I was tossed back and forth in my seat. When he reached my development, I said that he might want to slow down because there are a lot of deer in the area. He drove too fast in the development. Upon arriving at my home, he unloaded my bags and sped off. This was not the ride I anticipated when I booked a ride home from my trip. I don't know if driver "S" didn't want to take a late night flight or if my ride interrupted other plans, but I can honestly say that I felt extremely unsafe with the driver and his erratic driving to the point that I texted a friend during my ride in case something happened. I was relieved to get out of the car. It would have been less stressful to get on the tram to my parked car and drive myself home. UPDATE IN RESPONSE TO OWNER: It is I that have documentation in the form of a bill with the exact name "Monmouth iRide". I checked my bank statement and the website before posting this review. There is no mistake about the company and no social media scam, only exposure for putting a client's personal and physical safety at risk. Upon seeing the solid 5 star reviews for Monmouth iRide, I gave them a call. Owner, Greg, was great from my first contact. Super nice and service oriented, he set my mind at ease that everything would go smoothly- and it did! The driver, Dan, was so kind and patient. My mother who tends to complain about almost everything had nothing but the nicest things to say about Dan and the first class service overall. I should also add that their pricing is reasonable too. I'm not sure I can express how grateful I am to iRide. My boss recommended them to me as transport to Newark Airport. My driver was Daniel. It was 5:30am. It started out as a quick ride due to the time of day. A few miles from the airport traffic stopped. It was a truck fire and cars were at a standstill. GPS was saying it would take over an hour to go three miles. Daniel quickly got off the turnpike and got me there on time. What mattered was he knew I was nervous about missing my flight. He stayed calm and gave me tips on how to navigate through the airport quickly. I wasn't even out of the car and he had already given my bag to curbside check-in. When my flight landed I noticed a message from Daniel asking me if I made my flight and was everything ok. I recommend this company. They care! read more

Sorry for not sharing sooner! I had hired Monmouth iRide from the city to a fairly remote town (Tom's River, NJ) for a business dinner in November 2019. I called around and had a hard time finding a company that would even take me there, and the companies that I did find were at significantly higher rates. I went with Monmouth because their rates were hundreds lower than the other quotes I received, and I just couldn't justify going with the higher priced companies. My supervisor from work has been using Greg's service for many years and recommended him highly to me. I had used Murphy's, in Middletown, many years ago, but couldn't see them driving south to pick me up just to take me north again to Newark airport. I had considered a cab service, but my vacations are very important to me, and didn't want to have to worry about reliability, so I decided to use Greg's service, and called to set up an appointment. An e-mail was sent with an invite that you respond to confirming your appointment, and you receive a text from the driver a half hour before pick up. My driver showed up very early, and was waiting for me at my requested pick up location. Very friendly, helped with my bags, had a beautiful Lincoln, and got me to Newark in no time! He even was kind enough to look up my departure gate at my terminal for United Airlines! Also, exchanged in pleasant talk on the way! Great service across the board, and highly recommend them and will! I also, love the flat rate that includes tolls and gratuities! Takes the guess work out of your bill. I want to thank Monmouth Car Service on behalf of my mother and grandpa for an excellent trip. Their quote from Freehold to AC was the most reasonable out of all competing car services in the area. Her driver was prompt, texted before arriving, drove a clean car with water bottles and mints for a nice touch. The driver was extremely helpful to my mother and assisted her with my grandpa, who is partially blind, once they arrived at the airport. He waited with him until my mom was able to obtain a wheelchair and helped with luggage. This is a great network of drivers! We had a 7:00 a.m. flight from EWR and our driver showed up at 4:15 a.m., 15 minutes earlier than requested, and got us there quick in a clean black leather car. Our return flight landed at midnight. Our driver (Dave) texted us right as we landed and gave us the exact location of his car down to the door he was parked outside of! Dave was fun to talk to on the drive home. You can't beat the price - $109 each way with EVERYTHING (taxes,tolls, and tip) included. I shopped around and most were charging $150-175 each way. I was extremely happy with Monmouth Car Service, both to and from Newark Airport. Both drivers were very prompt and helpful. Excellent text communications which was especially important at the airport pickup since it was so cold. The driver not only texted that he was at the airport waiting area and showed a picture of his car with the licence visible, but after I texted him back that we had our luggage, he texted again when he was approaching the pickup door at the terminal so we were able to wait inside the terminal until his last text. Avoid. Botched routine trip to JFK - 30 minutes late for pickup jeopardized our flight; 20 minutes late for pickup on the return. (What's the point of a car service if you have to wait like an idiot for 20 minutes?!) The car was ready for the junk heap - dirty, beat up, A/C barely worked, EZPass didn't work. I called to complain and they didn't seem to care. Expensive to boot. Take a taxi and be happier. read more
