**Unresolved damage and lack of follow-through**…read more We engaged Nice & Fresh Cleaners for a routine home cleaning in March 2026. Immediately following the service, we identified damage to multiple pieces of furniture across several rooms. We documented the condition promptly and notified the company. The owner, Bowie van Ling, conducted an in-person inspection on March 16. During that visit and in subsequent communications, we requested that the matter be addressed through the company's stated liability insurance coverage, consistent with representations on its website. Despite multiple follow-ups, we have not been provided with a certificate of insurance or a clear path to pursue a claim. Additionally, we received an invoice for the March 11 service weeks later that was marked "past due" with a due date that had already passed prior to issuance, raising concerns about billing practices. We made repeated good-faith efforts to resolve this matter directly. As of today, it remains unresolved. While the company represents that it is bonded and insured and takes accountability seriously, our experience did not reflect those assurances. Based on this experience, we cannot recommend this company. We have also submitted a complaint to the North Carolina Attorney General after attempts to resolve this directly were unsuccessful.

Hi Thomas. We are really sorry to hear about your poor review And the claimed experience. It seems like you're really going for the throat on this one which is a bit intense to me. We strive for excellence every single day and ALL of our work is guaranteed so I'm unsure of how communication went there. We also guarantee same day service therefore it would be impossible to give you only the same cleaner yet we have cleaners that have been doing the exact same routes for years. Secondly when a client is the first client of the day then we are guaranteed there between 8:45-9:15 depending on the distance of the route. For jobs that are second or third then there is no time other then a window of an hour which we communicate to all clients and is very clearly stated in our client policies so it would've been good if you had read them. We also state that upon the estimate. Thirdly when our cleaners clean not only are they extremely detailed and supervised but they straighten and organize further then mainly any other cleaning service and we've been in the industry almost twenty years. But again. Our work is guaranteed. Good communication goes a long way. We are a family owned company and we support six children and yet still stay very middle of the road for rates. We have literally helped to pioneer this industry so if we cleaned the way you described we wouldn't have made it out of the gates. I could get hundreds of legitimate reviews in here in no time. We literally turn work down often because we wouldn't want to send out any not fully trained staff rather then ever mess a job up. Everyone makes human error but wow on your post. When I first moved to Asheville I interviewed several non-toxic cleaning services and, fortunately, chose Pristine Clean. The primary reason is because of the owner, Craig Childs. When we spoke I quickly realized that he has a passion for non-toxic, environmentally safe products that goes far beyond cleaning products. He has a very high standard for clean food; organic, non-GMO. When I interviewed him I felt that I was being related to with respect. He listened to my needs and responded to me in a way that I knew I was being listened to. Had the house cleaned - was not up to expectation. Called Dave the owner immediately and he came personally to re-clean the bath. And, then he fixed the shower door (which had nothing to do with the cleaners). Dave went to 5 different stores looking for the part. Again, this was not part of the job and not at all anything to do with Pristine Clean. Dave fixed it as a kind and generous act. The quote was for $388 which I considered a deal having previously received a quote of $900. The manager Dae was very polite and easy to work with, however the cleaning job was horrible. Very basics like cleaning the floors (all tile), wiping out all cabinets in the kitchen, cleaning interior windows, baseboards, fans and bathrooms were all in the contract, yet were not cleaned at all (hair and food particles left in kitchen, filthy floors, untouched toilets, etc. The entire rec room in the basement was untouched as well. I took many photos and Dae sent a second cleaner over and the condo was still quite dirty. This required yet a third visit, and finally the condo was clean, but still required an additional service for another 4 hours of cleaning. Would definitely NOT RECOMMEND!! They do not do what they contract, much less anything else.
