First of all - you will not have a problem with parking - nice big lot and it's all FREE! Next - inside is pretty decent - large enough to accommodate large crowds or groups for sure. Cleanliness was on point - except for a pesky fly! The food was wonderful - delicious - serving sizes were a good size - you wouldn't leave hungry for sure! The price was very good - anyone can afford going here to eat! So based on food, price and parking - this place would have received my 5 star review. However, with ALL my reviews - I tag a lot of important on service. On this occasion when my wife and I arrived - there was one other couple sitting at a table. We were told we could sit anywhere - and we did - in a booth! As we sat and waited - another couple came in and sat down - overall - there were five tables of two throughout our stay and dinning experience! There was one waitress and she didn't seem to have the knowledge base to properly take care of customers. She was certainly nice enough, but her priorities were a bit out of order! Instead of offering us second on coffee or even getting us our bill - she chose to set up some tables - even though there were no other customers coming in and she had plenty of work she could have been doing with the customers that were already there - WAITING! Obviously you do not get good food quickly - this place could work a bit harder and getting the food out - this has nothing to do with our waitress, but rather the back staff - the cooks and preps - depending on how many they had - a salad should not take that long to prepare and specials are normally specials because you can get them quickly - not the case here! Now - though the place was clean - at least to a decent standard - they had a large fish tank up high on some sort of counter - nothing wrong with fish tanks, but as an enthusiast myself - it had NOT been taken care of and the fish inside were much too large for the tank - they could NOT even turn around easily in the tank. It's cruelty and something I do not wish to observe while eating OR EVER! So once I filter in the service and the poor condition of the fish tank - the rating slipped down. I'd certainly go back and give it another shot and I think if you are in the area - you should certainly check the place out!

The store itself is great. It's a nice sized market with all of the necessities. I think they are reasonably priced and the staff are nice and friendly, very willing to help you out. The store is also heavily stocked and clean. For the prepared foods and ready to order hot meals, I encourage you to come hungry! They have a lot of options and seem to serve everything all day. On today's visit I tried the donuts, tuna salad, and chicken salad which they said was all made in store. I also tried the macaroni salad which was also said to be made in store. For the food, I would recommend trying the fresh breads and the tuna salad! Both were very good, and they made a great sandwich on my road trip! Don't forget the donuts because those were the best part! The Apple fritter was the star of the show as it was humongous and also delicious. It had a lot of glaze and was made with real apples (not like a pie filling, from what I could tell). Also the angel cream/white cream donut was fantastic. It was very filled and good. I recommend stopping in if you're in the area!

It gives them such a rich, delicious flavor without making them overly sweet. Every cookie is unique: some stuffed, some loaded, some topped, and you can tell she puts so much thought into creating recipes. Each gourmet cookie is $4, and ordering is SO easy. She's incredibly responsive to Facebook messages, and you can order one, two, a dozen ... whatever you want! Pickup is simple too, and she'll soon have a pickup box at the end of her driveway to make it even easier. She's a home baker, so there's no storefront. And don't tell anyone... but I honestly think they're even better than Half Baked.
