Mrs. Hostetler came out to greet me, and expressed surprise I had come out in rainy weather. The rolls were ready, and frosted with a caramel icing. They were beautiful, fresh, and delicious! We also ordered a side of toast to go with it. The soup was from the microwave, and served barely warm. You could easily taste it was made with frozen broccoli. The she said 'oh i forgot the toast' ok so warm up my soup and make some toast please. She put my soup back in the microwave and my friend was almost finished her soup and we still haven't gotten the toast. The girl working on the obviously complex job of making toast ask the cashier something and she replied verbatim 'just make 2 pieces of toast butter then and cut them in half'.... WOW. So needless to say we were both done our soup before the toast arrived. I'm still shaking my head and wished i had just ordered the coffee.

Obviously you do not get good food quickly - this place could work a bit harder and getting the food out - this has nothing to do with our waitress, but rather the back staff - the cooks and preps - depending on how many they had - a salad should not take that long to prepare and specials are normally specials because you can get them quickly - not the case here! Now - though the place was clean - at least to a decent standard - they had a large fish tank up high on some sort of counter - nothing wrong with fish tanks, but as an enthusiast myself - it had NOT been taken care of and the fish inside were much too large for the tank - they could NOT even turn around easily in the tank. It's cruelty and something I do not wish to observe while eating OR EVER! So once I filter in the service and the poor condition of the fish tank - the rating slipped down.
