I took 7 paintings in for packing and Brian told me that he couldn't give an estimate until he did the work. He said that he charged $20 per hour in labor. In the end he charged $595. All the paintings were stuffed into a single box and they moved around when the box was tipped over. When I called to give him this feedback, he argued with me. He told me to try UPS or a moving company next time. I have used UPS to do some packing for me and they do a better job for 1/3 the price. I am one dissatisfied customer.

As soon as I get home and open it I realized ho dry mounted the artwork on a black board, and simply just put it back into my frame and damaged the frame. I call and ask why did he do that knowing it'll destroy the value of the artwork, he said coldly "sorry I Fd up!" This man refused to share his insurance information with me, refuses to pay back for the money he took from me, he kept telling me that he spoke to the insurance and it's been taking care of, 3 months later after lies upon lies he says I'm not paying you sue me!!! He is rude, unprofessional, thief, liar, low life, and drunk. I'm attaching photo of the receipt and photos of the artwork after taking it to another art conservator and trying to save it. So he went outside and called his manager and then came back (tried re-entering without knocking) only to quote me $1,000 to take my table to the shop, which needed glue basically, and then $150 for labor ++. I didn't even pay that for the table. He then said he could try and epoxy that might not work for $580. They were terrible to schedule with. This is the epitome of bad business and advantage-taking.

Hello people. Some bad news here as to the scam I…read moreexperienced. Rashidi had two pieces of mine, a small chair and a console. I was told they were done. I went to pick up both pieces. When I got there, the chair was in pieces and I was told it was beyond repair. He did not tell me this ahead of time before I got there. The console was to have a new solid oak top replaced. He showed me a piece of wood he had in the shop as an example of what he would use. He did not use that. He put on pieces of non-uniform, mismatched veneer. Not solid oak as per the contract. There were other small details in the contract, e.g. nail holes to be filled and a loose drawer to be fixed. These were not attended to at all. The back of the legs, which granted you can not see, were not finished. He has not made good on a promise to replace the top and fix details. Update June 13, 2026: I was there today and the owner has now promised to do the repairs on the console.
