1) they are crazy expensive- shop around and go to Leon's 2) they don't answer their phone... give it a try! It will eventually ring until the call fails. 3) they try to upsell you on all sorts of random insurance/warranty things you don't need... I said "no" 5 times before they stopped asking if I wanted to buy protection. 4) unfortunately I didn't learn this until it was too late. We are still waiting for the products we bought. read more

My wife and I were very excited to shop for a sectional for our new home. We found a beautiful one and the sales manager (Troy) was very pleasant to do business with. However it seemed as though once they had our money their follow up care dropped off the face of the earth. The sectional was delivered with missing parts and a rip on the bottom. Luckily I paid for warranty on it, so I thought nothing of it. They sent the legs to the store so we took care of that ourselves. As for the rip it's been 3 months of their customer service cancelling appointments to come and fix it. Will never shop at Ashley's again. read more

Ashley Furniture HomeStore - Lethbridge "They are a bunch of crooked salespeople who say one thing and do another, even the management. Buyers Beware." Was sold a couch with the all in (his words) price of $1,100.00 with a 12 months no interest no payments promotion. The delivery was 2 hours late, which I took time off work (totally 3 hours) to be around to receive it. Delivery guy was slow and clumsy, and I ended up needing to help him lift it. I couldn't believe it. 4 months later I receive a call from CitiFinancial claiming I am late paying interest. They claim I have 2 accounts with them, one for 1100 and one for 159, which requires an interest payment. They charged me an additional 159 for delivery and taxes which was to be included in the "all in" price of 1100. Upon consulting the manager, he sent me away telling me "people come in all the time, not understanding their bill. It's not my problem". I'm taking this to small claims court to hopefully get it resolved, but hopefully I can warn someone else to avoid them, and avoid going through this whole process. Dealt with Ashley's for a number of furnishings for our home and business. The sales people were very helpful and the selection outstanding. They were more than happy to assist me with moving furniture pieces around, carpets and accessories in order to get a better idea of the overall look. The delivery men were professional, called prior to coming out to our small town an hour away to provide us with an estimated time of arrival. They took care in moving in the furniture as well setting it up and removing all packaging from the premises. As for the comments from others I must admit I did not experience any of these issues, they were more than professional, the quality of the product is exactly what one pays for. Thank you Ashley's for providing me with great service, furniture that I find perfect for my home and I look forward to dealing with you again in the near future. read more

I would recommend shopping at another store. The customer service here is something else. You have to sign a CONTRACT to make a purchase and after that your money is theirs. Their products are junk. You cannot get a full refund even if the product you purchased was damaged. Received a dresser that was totally busted up. You could tell it wasn't made very good. I am sure it went in the garbage. Still charged me $100. They get you for 25% for RESTOCKING???? Try googling "ashley furniture complaint" . There are a lot more. read more
