Girls should not be made to feel that because they are not a size 2 or 4 that they are not as important or not treated the same as the girls who wear these smaller sizes. The mirrors and prom lighting are all located in the room with the smaller dresses, and the sales associates seem to cater to those who are in the 0 to size 10 dress area. This is insulting and perhaps Brittany's House of Elegance should have a class on etiquette and manners. I would not recommend this dress shop to anyone.

By far my favorite thrift store in the Augusta area. Most items appear to be in good condition and are very reasonably priced. I was able to get an entire bag of clothing for only $10. The store is run by a woman named Pat and several volunteers. All proceeds from sales here go towards running a homeless shelter for women and children. Whether you're thrifting to try and save money or reduce your environmental impact, I highly recommend checking this place out. They're also looking for volunteers, so if that's your thing this is a good place for it!

I truly appreciated the cashier pointing out the cracked/chipped glass on the inside of a vintage food storage container lid that made the purchase a "no go". Frankly, this second hand shop should have a consigner store policy of "no broken, chipped, cracked, torn, stained, no missing buttons, etc" on items allowed. This keeps the quality high, and the reputation of the store honorable. If the consigner is determined to try to sell a damaged item they should at least note "As Is" on the price tag to alert the customer, and that wasn't the case with the glass storage container. The numerous framed "Best of Consignment Shop" awards says this spot is loved by locals! I have found some really cute shoes here for a very reasonable price. I had a friend who worked here so I was normally privy to most of the sales but they don't work here anymore. So I have to be lucky if I'm catching a really good deal. But 9 times out of 10 they are having some type of sale. Sometimes its hard to find bigger sizes but I was told one time that those are the sizes that the customer buys first. The staff is extremely friendly and are usually standing at the door waiting to great the arriving customers. When I'm in the area I will definitely stop in and check and see what kind of sale they are having and what the merchandise looks like that day.
