The store is surrounded by several other stores and eateries. It's located in the up and coming newly renovated mid city Portsmouth area. You'll also find: Walmart, Kroger, Wawa, and Chic-fil-a nearby. And it's located minutes from I-264E and I-264W The store usually has little to no volume and the set up is pretty much neat and easy to maneuver around. Not a lot of shoes, but not a big deal -- just a note. On my second visit and as a first-time consignor, I casually met Michelle (the owner) and wow, was she super pleasant! A genuine friendly customer exchange literally gives me a greater joy in supporting small businesses. They host a Facebook live showcasing new items every week. That's kinda cool. You can also shop online at any time. When you consign with them, you do not get any money on the spot; you get a check once a month. Overall, I find Michelle's to be a better experience than franchise consignment shops and I'm pretty sure you will, too.

I came in today, a few customers were shopping and then by the time I finished browsing it was about 3 or 4 people in line ahead of me. However, the line was moving quite swiftly. I went in there like I said with the mission to find a pair of boots and I found a pair of boots that work perfectly with my Halloween costume. Now granted, I didn't want to pay the price that I paid for them out of THIS store, but luckily for me they had 25% off all boots and booties. As a result, I received a good $10 almost $11 off the regular store price. Heck yeah I'm winning!! This was a grrrreat thing and besides they go perfect with my costume so that was my main concern. Not only did I find inexpensive nice rugs but I also found an $5 pair of biker shorts, Pyrex and OXO storages, and the same toys I bought from Amazon but cheaper!!
