This visit was an in-store pickup of such order, purchased with Kohl's cash (their tiered incentive program for dollars spent between various dates). It was the only location that had all of needed items in stock. Neckties for my sons - one black, one blue - and a long sleeve shirt for me totaled $50 but only cost me $6 after Kohl's cash and a sale coupon code. Cool thing was my Kohl's cash had actually expired the previous day BUT the fab customer service reps helped me redeem it! Received an "order pickup ready" email and text message 4 hours after placing the order. Per email, I located the red online order pickup kiosk in the men's department (there was a sign hanging from the ceiling). I showed them my ID, then they scanned the pickup barcode within the email. Employee disappeared for a few minutes, only to reappear with a bag filled with the items I ordered. Total time for online pickup: 5 minutes. Sadly, the shirt appeared small so I attempted to find a bigger size to do an exchange. It was a HOT MESS! Clothes out of place with no apparent order/organization. Some Star Wars graphic hoodies, some flannel shirts, etc. I asked the pickup employee for assistance but she just pointed to the young men's department that I had already looked through unsuccessfully. After aimlessly looking again, I asked her to call an employee over to assist me. He arrived, went to the area I looked in, but couldn't find it either. At long last, out of the corner of my eye, I spotted the long sleeve on a table, buried under a myriad of short sleeve graphic shirts. Total time for finding even swap shirt: 50 minutes. One of the ties appeared a tad different than the online pic, so I continued my in-store quest to find an exchange worthy boys neck tie. Looked around myself and struck out. After I asked an employee, he honestly replied "I don't know but I'll try to help." BEST, HONEST ANSWER!! We eventually did and the exchange at the customer service counter took no time at all with no additional money spent! All in all, a good customer forward facing company with relevant brands and enticing sales, but if you go in store, you're on your own.

Today I had a few gifts to pick up and no surprise the experience was exceptional. They had 30% off, plus clearance items on Christmas Eve and was open late afternoon. The clerk was knowledgeable about the products and stayed with me to assist. I was also surprised they had plenty of staff given the day. I had also purchased a blazer for my son just weeks before. Checkout was smooth and Brooks Brothers has the best gift boxes, they are beautiful. A hard copy receipt was placed in the bag. The staff is always friendly and helpful with any questions that you might have about the various brands offered for sale. They offer competitive prices on all of their stock compared to what you could expect to pay at other places. The store is very clean and well organized and the staff are trained not to hover over or pressure their customers, you can just walk around and look if you want to do that. I bought a pair of shoes that's on clearance and there are stickers on each box of that shoes that said 53.99 but the cashier charged me 59.99. I didn't check my receipt nor my total because it was black friday that day and I was kinda rushing to each stores due to the lines at every stores. I don't blame the cashier cuz it's black friday and people make mistakes and that's fine, so I went home, figure out the mistake, then came back to get my money back. I told the cashier about this mistake and she was nice, she paged that so-called manager, and rang another customer while waiting. A couple minutes later this manager came to the register, didn't say hi or how can she help me or whatsoever like I don't even exist, and start asking the cashier what was going on with her lazy tone. Since the cashier was still dealing with her other customer, she couldn't talk to multiple people at the same time cuz she's human? but she told her to look at the receipt. However, this ignorant manager won't give up on hustling this poor cashier and ignoring my existence, and just kept asking her what is happening, and of course with the poorest attitude. Finally the cashier finished with the other customer and tell her about the mistake, then they figure out that they put the wrong stickers on the boxes, and the cashier said that it's their mistake, and that manager repeat that to me which sounds like I put that damn sticker on it to scam them for $6. I told her all them boxes had that stickers but I can go check again, but she told me that's fine she can do it like I beg for that freaking 6 whole dollars. She also mentioned "$6" multiple times during our silence conversation. I'm a patient person as you can see I didn't even get mad because I went home then figure out that mistake then I have to drive all the way back here from VB at 9pm but this ignorant is just keep testing my bottom line. I'm surprised that the cashier is not the manager because she is definitely more suitable on that position. This "manager" has 0 management skills, -10 attitude, and -1000 respect. If you hate your job so much just quit, don't let poor customers and associates to deal with your rude ass for Crist sake.

Each of us enjoys dressing stylishly in clothing that is nicely made and still affordable. There is seldom a visit where we have each taken at least 10 items back to the dressing room. It is easy to find sizes, colors, and the ability to find pieces that go together nicely. The staff is always very helpful. You are greeted upon entering the store, staff will take clothing and put it in a dressing room for you so you don't have to carry it around. They also have the work ethic of those that used to work in dress shops. They will hunt down a size or perhaps an item that would go nicely with an item you have in the dressing room. THAT is customer service. I thoroughly enjoy shopping here.
