Almost a month ago I purchased a sofa from Ashley Home Store in Glen Burnie. Part cash part on My daughter's card because thats all I had with me. Before I left the store the girl behind the counter insisted that I go over the sofa with a magnifying glass before I sign the delivery receipt. So the 2 guys come to the house, ask me where I want it. I showed them that it was to be placed upstairs (one set of steps) and I paid for delivery at the time of purchase. I was told they would unpack it and put it in place. So the delivery guys look to see it was to go upstairs and said no it won't fit. Never measured it or the opening. I asked him to give me his supervisor's number and he refused and said I'll take it back first. After several times asking him he still refused to give me a number. He said sign this form saying we delivered it. I said we need to unwrap it so that I can inspect it first as I was told by the store. He said no, you sign first. So we went back and forth with that several times. Finally they unwrap it in the front yard. The sofa looked fine. So they brought it in and dropped it in my daughter's living room. So I told them I'd better not get charged for delivery for this because now I was gonna have to hire someone else to get it upstairs. So I signed the paper and wrote a note under my signature stating that they refused to take the sofa upstairs to the location it was purchased for. So we decided to return the sofa. I went to the store and explained to the managers what had happened. How they fought with me (literally yelling), kept refusing to let me inspect the furniture before signing the paper as I was instructed, refused to put it where it was to go, and refused to give me a number for customer service from the delivery people. Then the girl looks it up in the computer, pulls up the paper I signed, and it was a different paper. The delivery team removed my note, and forged my signature on a new copy. They zoomed in on the copy and you could see the imprint of where I originally signed and where the note was. So they committed straight out forgery!!! So I told the store I did not want to be charged a cancelation fee or for the delivery! The girl behind the counter told us that they had been receiving complaints all day from other customers. So they picked up the sofa about a week and a half later. The girl calls me and said it was received and that they were gonna not charge me for the delivery. So my daughter and I go back to the store last night, they refunded her card, for the wrong amount first, and had to redo it. Then they told me they were still charging me for the delivery, corporate said my signature was not forged (which it plainly was), and that because I paid cash they would have to send me a check and it would take up to 30 days. She said they would email them today and request no delivery charge again. I got a call this morning and instead of reimbursing me the $400 cash I paid they are going to send a check for 280.01. I am boiling mad!!! Not only did I have to go through all that, but the delivery people committed forgery, which is a felony, and both Ashley furniture and the delivery company are responsible for. After all that, all I was asking for was my $119.99 delivery fee waived and let it go. They are refusing!!! So I am exercising my access to social media to let everyone know what kind of service you can expect if you purchase something from Ashley Furniture in Glen Burnie!!! And I'll figure out what to do about the forgery and removal of my note to the company!!! MINUS 4 STARS!!! read more

Maybe I should have waited until I ractually had the furniture delivered before writing my review. Hindsight is 20/20. After six weeks and three phone to calls to customer service and two expected delivery dates I still had no couch. Requested a refund, argued with customer service and then eventually I had to go back to store to get refund. This was a total waste of time and 46 bucks, which was not refundable. Even though this store has a decent selection of furniture you might want to go elsewhere for your furniture needs or you might make the same mistake that I did. read more

They are bunch of SCAMMERS and CROOKS. My husband and I was told that we need to get 5 years warranty to cover the damages or anything as result of the move. KATHERINE KLEMKOWSKI assured that we are covered for 5 years no matter where we move to or if we move at all. We told her that we were moving to Baltimore within few months after the purchase. She even wrote it down on a scrap of paper to list out for my husband who is deaf so he can understand. When I called Ashley yesterday to get the furniture repaired because it got damaged during the move to Baltimore. That is when we was told that the warranty are to be voided if we move from Glen Burnie. They even hung up on me when I told them that what they did are scam. This is the worst furniture store along with their service center/warehouse in Brandywine MD. My dining room chairs started coming apart after two weeks. I paid $934.92 for 6 chairs. I have been calling and trying to get replacement since January 2022. Warehouse and Finance Department Ms. R...lied stating they had a resolution for me to go to Lowes to get the parts for the chairs. It is not my responsibility to repair new chairs because they had screws missing out of each chair. When they stated they would order the screws but it would take a long time - 6 months. Now she told the credit card dispute department that the screws are coming from overseas and next container is to arrive May 2023!! Stay away from this store, their warehouse, and store credit card. We haven't been able to sit on our chairs for 1 1/2 years by the time we may or may not get the screws for the chairs!! Horrible service!! read more

George was AMAZING! He greeted my best friend and I as soon as we entered the building and informed us on the labor day sale they were offering. I was looking for bedroom furniture, since I've literally have had the same set since I was 14, pathetic I'm aware. I fell in love with a few pieces and George gave me an offer I could not refuse. Worst customer service I have ever dealt with. Zero coordination between the company and customer and still don't have all of our furniture after 6 months of the purchase date! No one can give a legitimate answer on where our replacement furniture actually is or when it will be delivered. We will NEVER purchase furniture from any Ashley franchise again and strongly encourage anyone in the market for new furniture to shop elsewhere & not give any business to this company. Save yourself the stress, and frustration. The owner of this franchise should be absolutely embarrassed to be running such a poor operation. My timeline of events with Ashley Furniture; - Purchase was on 2/14/2021 from Glen Burnie, MD store and was to be delivered to our new house in Central PA with a 8-12 week expected lead time. - First delivery was 4/7/2021 with damaged furniture - Was told replacements would be delivered in 14 days - 14 days went by and were told it was "14 days to be shipped to the warehouse, and they would be reaching out to schedule the delivery" - Roughly a month later (mid-late June), we call them and were told the furniture was delivered to the wrong warehouse - No follow up coordination from Ashley, we reached out to speak with a representative and were told it was in the PA warehouse but would be getting a call about the delivery date. - A few more weeks go by with no response from Ashley, so we call them back and were told delivery was scheduled for 8/7/2021. They would be calling us with a time frame within 48 hours of the delivery date. - No call for time frame. We call them late evening 8/6/2021 and we're told 12-4pm delivery time for 8/7/2021 - 8/7/2021 no delivery showed up, we stayed at the house until 5:45pm thinking they may have been running behind schedule before leaving and calling Management. - Glen Burnie Manager, Danny, told us he had reached out to the dispatch team but they closed at 4pm so it would most likely be Monday before we heard back - No reply call Monday 8/9 morning, I call at noon and was told it was still in the Brandywine warehouse. - 8/11/2021 was told it was in transit from their Bluegrass distribution center to Brandywine. ⁃ 8/11/2021 Manager, Kevin at the Glen Burnie store hung up on me (at this point I was fed up and gave him an earful of grief for their lack of coordination/customer service). - 8/11/2021, I call back after being hung up on to speak with Supervisor, John, and was told he was cancelling the transfer from Bluegrass to Brandywine as they do not deliver from Brandywine, MD to Central PA where we are located - 8/12/2021 through 8/15/2021 we called everyday for updates but no change in delivery status - 8/16/2021 we call to get an update on our furniture's status and was informed it was transferred back to the Brandywine location. - 8/18/2021 Another call made to speak with a manager and was told it would be arriving at the Brandywine warehouse today and earliest available delivery is September 1st. - 8/18/2021 I speak with Betsy at the Brandywine Distribution Center and was informed our furniture had still not arrived and couldn't give me a potential delivery date until it was scanned in at the distribution center read more

We came in on a Saturday to look for furniture and was helped by a very nice gentlemen. The prices were amazing and the furniture looked good too so we bought 2 sets of bedroom furniture. Then I read the hundreds upon hundreds of reviews and complaints about the company. It scared some sense into me. Since we ordered bedroom sets that had many pieces I figured we would probably have the issues described so we cancelled within the 72 hour cancellation time frame and got all of our money back. Worst customer service and overall worst furniture buying experience - EVER! My wife and I visited the store and had an decent time picking out furniture we really liked, but it took customer service in the store over an 1 1/2 to check us out. Then, it gets even worse after we leave, with a delivery promise of 2 to 4 weeks. Yep, lets try 8 weeks later, after numerous calls to their customer service and so many "we're sorry's" I can't even count, a delivery day was finally set, with of course a 5 hour delivery window. Took time off from my busy work schedule, waiting for delivery, then I get the call that some of my livingroom furmiture was inspected and badly damaged, they would not be delivering it and new items were placed on order, which would arrive in 2 to 6 weeks. WHAT!!?? Are you kidding me!? But, they were going to deliver my bedroom set. Delivery folks made it at the 4:58 min mark of the 5 hour window (no kidding - but at least they made it). They unboxed my items outside (not inside), and moved the furniture UNPROTECTED from the driveway, steps, into the house, up the stairs, into the bedroom. During that journey, they found several ways of hitting the walls and even my ceiling at the base of the stairs with my now "not so new" furniture. Once setup and installed, I discovered several pieces had huge gouges and scratches and some pieces even had the wood split. The delivery guys called and reported it, plus identified some missing parts, to which their warehouse had them leave the damaged items and someone would come inspect it. No, I don't need anyone to inspect anything, the furniture is badly damaged - take it back and replace it. The store policy is to send someone out to inspect and attemp to repair the furniture first, last resort is to order new stuff (according to the customer service rep). I explained to her that that is totally unacceptable and I believe the last resort is "return all items for a full refund". Needless to say, i'm returning everything!! RUN WHILE YOU CAN!!!!! I bought a dining room set from this place and paid in full. It took them 6 MONTHS!!!!!! to deliver it. I must have called over 50 times and always the same thing "we have no way of tracking our orders" "I'll have the manager call you back" the store manager here does not care about his customers and does not know how to return calls. They finally delivered a BROKEN dining room set to me. This time it only took about 3 MONTHS for the tech to come out order the part and fix the set. About a month after everything was said and done I got a call for corporate (ONLY BECAUSE I FILLED A REPORT WITH THE BBB) to "make things right" they offered me a gift card so I could shop there in the future; I declined the offer and asked for some money off my purchase. They agreed but gave me no money off and sent me a gift card....are you kidding me??? You will find better service from a McDonalds at 3am in the morning then here. This is my first bad yelp review but the customer service here has been so poor that I want to warn others. The sales rep was great, and we were told the bedroom furniture we picked out would be delivered within 2 - 8 weeks. When I expressed concern over the potential 8 week waiting period because I was 7 months pregnant at the time and wanted to have our furniture set up by the time the baby came, I was assured it usually never takes as long as 8 weeks. Here we are about 8 weeks later, with no furniture and nothing but ignored calls for information or updates. When my husband and I have called we were always told that the furniture will be here "next week" and that we'll get a call back with information the next day. None of that has happened, and I am now 9 months pregnant, still sleeping on a mattress on the floor. I can't imagine another product, especially an expensive product, that you pay for in full and up front, and then get treated so poorly when you are actually looking to get the product delivered. read more

Great furniture, but extremely expensive and take forever to deliver. Even though I paid in cash, they took 9 weeks to deliver my furniture. I tried two times to get a sofa bed, the first one did not fit. Very disappointing, that I have to pay taxes to get something else as there is no way to get your money back. The second one it didn't fit either and I tried to place it somewhere else and it did not work. I really need my sofa bed. So, I called the store for options and they said: "Yeah! Sure.. you have to pay $150 for the pick up, plus 30% of the cost of the item to get something different." I said, Excuse me??? Is that the only option? "If you signed for the delivery, yes... They told us originally after purchasing our couch in June that delivery would take 3-8 weeks because of the pandemic. It's been almost 9 weeks and for the past two weeks they've told us 4 different scheduled arrival times. Most recently we received a call this morning our couch wouldn't arrive until October. We've not had a couch now for over 2 1/2 months and they still have no clue where it is or why they've given us different dates. When my husband asked why he was given so many different arrival dates he was told "I don't know. You can maybe get a new couch". I will never purchase anything from this company again. I entered their store to make a purchase on March 22. My delivery date was set for April 16th and my furniture arrived with scratches and missing screws so the delivery men said they could not put it together. They also added, it would take 2-3 weeks for the screws to be delivered, SCREWS?! Why would it take so long for them to correct THEIR MISTAKE? I sent the pieces that were scratched back and no one followed up with me. I called the store to inquire about the next delivery date which they could not give me because they said the pieces would not arrive to the warehouse until an estimate of May 15th. So I'm supposed to go almost two months without my furniture when the initial paperwork stated anywhere from 2-6 weeks. This store is horrible!!! My husband and i spent over $2,000 on furniture half we financed. First, Gerry the salesman tells us my bedroom set was missing it's headboard and would be in "mid next week" and my son's bedroom set would not be available until Mid December. The mid next week comes, and I have not heard from anyone. I call store, NO ONE EVER ANSWERS THE PHONE and the voicemail is always full. I spoke with delivery and the associate tells me they can't see when my head Board is going to be available. So it's been two weeks and nobody has reached out to update us, and I have no idea where my furniture is or when it'll be delivered. The manager never called me back, and they turn their phones off early. The customer service is horrible and honestly I think the whole thing is a scam and the furniture is cheap, and poorly made. I have never written an online review in my life but this place has been so mind-boggling terrible that I had to share my story. I would give zero stars if it was possible but since it's not, I guess I will go with just one star... The incompetence, lack of customer service and lack of professionalism with this store is staggering. Since the moment I left the store (it was toward the end of August 2016) it's been nothing but disappointment after disappointment. It's like this store knows it sucks but no one there cares to do anything about it. I should have known that this place was going to be awful because when I walked in, I walked right past 3 salespeople and not one of them offered to help me. A few of them didn't even acknowledge me. It was the middle of the day and hardly anyone else was in there and these people were not with other customers at the time so a simple "hello" wouldn't have killed them. Also, I went in there on my lunch break from work and was dressed professionally in a suit, so it's not like they could have "profiled me" and dismissed me on the spot. Not saying that's right, I just know that can happen. When a salesman did finally approach me he was friendly and fairly helpful, and to his credit he did not pressure me at all. I ended up purchasing a sectional (date reminder: August 20-something, 2016). The salesman told me that it usually takes 2-6 weeks for delivery but to expect my items in no more than 4 weeks. So after two weeks I called back and learned that my items were now not going to be there until the end of Sept. No big deal... that's six weeks, right? So then after no follow up from Ashley for another 3 weeks, I call back and they told me my items were not going to be there until the middle of Oct... And I got pissed! After a back-and-forth with a manager (well... she claims she was a manager but it turns out she is not actually the manager) my items were magically going to appear at the warehouse on Sept. 29th. I talked to another person who claimed to be a manager (turns out he is not a manager either) and he told me it would take 3-5 days for delivery and my item would be in my house by the end of this week. It turns out he was also wrong and now they claim my items cannot be delivered until the middle of next week at the earliest. Now, I understand delays happen but what I cannot accept is the lack of customer service or broken promises. At no time was Ashley Furniture the one who reached out to me. I was the one constantly making the phone calls. I don't think that I would be nearly as upset if they were calling me and updating me throughout the process. To have zero follow up is completely unacceptable and utterly baffling. And the broken promises are equally upsetting... I was expecting my furniture to be in my place in around 4 weeks. It's going to take 8 at the very least. I was told that when it got to the warehouse it would take 3-5 days for delivery. It's going to take at least 10. It's not hard to do the math and see that both estimates doubled. How does this happen? Again... it's like this store know it is terrible but no one does anything to make it better. They do not deserve the 1-star rating that it currently has. They deserve so much worse. If I were Ashley Furniture's corporate headquarters I would fire everyone in this store and just start over. It can't get any worse and you hope it would get better... but after reading the other reviews it sounds like it is going to be same old non-caring, under-delivering, infuriating staff for years to come. My advice: Read the other reviews on this website and then go anywhere but here. I'm not going to say don't go to another Ashley Furniture store all together, I'm just saying don't go to this one. I gave them a 5 star review for when we bought our couch. That was for the sales rep and office staff. However, we hadn't attempted to use the "warranty" services yet.... We called 5 times in three months and since they never ever had any repair people available in our area, they said they were just going to ship us the covers from overseas. Wish I could give negative stars. Bought a recliner about 18 months ago, and the frame on the back of the chair broke. I bought the 5 year protection plan which the salesman assured me would cover the reclining mechanism as well as the frame for normal wear and tear. I try to get my chair fixed ashley furniture points me to the protection plan. The plan only covers soiling and staining of the fabric. I still have a little tag that came on the chair which says framing has a limited lifetime warranty. 18 months doesnt seem to be a lifetime of a recliner, try talking to the store they tell me to call corporate. Call corporate then they tell you to hold and disconnect you or transfer you some where else. The furniture must be designed to last just over a year so they can tell you sorry too bad. Their customer service is a joke. Buyers beware they are crooks and liars working at Ashley Furniture, you may be thinking your getting quality furniture but you would be better off going to Big Lots or using cardboard boxes because anything from Ashley is garbage. Called both (800) 477-2222 and (301) 782-3800 one tells you to call the other and vice versa. Both claim there is no such thing as a limited life time warranty to get my chair fixed. read more

I purchased a bed and dresser from this store. All I can say is RUN RUN RUN! I will start with the good, my sales rep was excellent. Also I love my bed and dresser. Now...the reasons why you should never shop at this location...I purchased my furniture in April of 2018, not too long after purchasing my first home. All went well with the transaction and I was told I'd be called to confirm a delivery date as it was going to take 6 weeks for my items to come in. I was taken aback by the amount of time it'd take to deliver but agreed. Six weeks came and went. At two months and after inquiring about my over $3K worth of furniture I decided to go in the store. I spoke to the "manager" (in quotes because he has no clue what he is doing and is extremely rude) who acted like he was doing me a favor by substituting my adjustable base for another. He couldn't comprehend why I'd question why and inquire about what you are sending me in place of my purchase. I don't know maybe because the base was one of the most expensive pieces in my order and I want to make sure I am getting my money's worth... Finally the deliver guys show up 9 weeks later with my items. In the process of putting my bed together they completely shatter my ceiling fan. I now have to communicate with a delivery company to get my fan replaced (Ashley is not responsible of course because they choose to use an outside delivery company). To add insult to injury I am asked to purchase and make the repair and then they'll reimburse me. Needless to say that literally took another 6 weeks. DO NOT SHOP HERE!!! They need to fire their manager, I am guessing he's the assistant store manager present on the weekends. He is in need to major service training. March 28,2022 we order a couch. We had family coming for in a funeral, so we made sure we order one that say "in stock" we verified with the sale guy, he confirm we would get it in 9 days. The delivery date was on the receipt. The day before it was to be delivered they called and said 10 more days.. We called the phone number thinking it was the local number .. it was not it was their call center.. The call center said .. Oh sorry but there's nothing we can do, this happens all the time, sorry. . .. 10 more days pass again the day before the delivery date.. It was pushed out again 10 more days ..We called again .. The call center was very blasé about it and said " oh yeah, this happens all the time there's nothing we can do about it .. you can cancel if you want" .. We finally cancel the order. It went from 9 days after purchase to over 30days. They didn't care or seem bothers by the lack of follow through on their part. Even the people working for Ashelys see nothing wrong with the work practice. Their call center said made it very clear. "It doesn't matter if you cancel or not, there's more people out there that will buy from us so its no biggie.." It may not matter to them but it sure does to me.. This has been the worst experience ever. They district Mgr, DJ, chose to cancel our order due to a mistake with Amer Express who told me they spoke to Ashley Furniture and it was settled over 10 days ago and the $ was sent back to the furniture store. We called Tues and Weds this week to confirm our delivery on Friday (today) and were told all was good and we were set for delivery. Today we called to ck on delivery time and were told at 10:50 our delivery/order was cancelled. CANCELLED without any notice to us, the customer. I think on Tues and Weds someone should have notified us that there was an issue. The people that work in this store are NO help, they do not speak to you nicely, and do not care about follow up service. I can not tell you how unhappy I am with this store. The store was.great and easily found what we needed during their sale. Delivery was awful..took a month to get my furniture. They set up a 4 hour delivery window for me which was fine. But then they called an hour early and said they would be there in 10 minutes! I said i needed 15min and I would answer the door after that. They only gave me the 10min. I am allowing them to come into my home earlier than scheduled and they couldn't even respect me enough to give me 15 min instead of 10?! Such rudeness. No apology. Just excuses. read more

I don't understand how they expect to run a business.We just moved to the area and needed furniture to fill our living room. We went to this store and purchased a living room set. The person checking us out told us it would be 2-6 weeks so we started to hesitate because we didn't want to keep the first room you walk into in our new place to be empty that long. They told us it would probably be 3 weeks, they only say 6 weeks to "cover their butts". That was 6 weeks ago. One piece of furniture isn't even done being made. When I called to see if they could just deliver the stuff they already had, the soonest they could is in 2 more weeks. Not only that but we have to be there all day for delivery. Most couples work all day, how do they expect us to have someone home all day?? When I tried to talk to a manager about this, they were always too busy. Apparently I am not the only dissatisfied with the service. Please save yourself the frustration and go to Bob's Discount Furniture, La-Z Boy, or anywhere else. We had friends and family who bought from the before mentioned stores and had their furniture delivered in a week. It can't be that hard to hire more contractors before you begin to lose all of this business. Don't be fooled by the sales they have during holidays. It makes their prices competitive with other prices we've seen on any other given day at other places. Not worth it to pay the same amount for awful service. read more

After posting, I was contacted by a representative who had my table replaced with a week! Thank you Jessica for making this right. It's unfortunate that it took a bad review and lots of frustration to get here but at least you made it right!!! Thank you again this is the type of customer service I expected from the beginning. We just built a brand new home and decided to buy the majority of our new furnishings at Ashley which included a kitchen set, additional 4 barstools, dinning room set and a living room set. We delayed delivery until they told us we could no longer have it delayed even though at the time of purchase they told us holding it would not be an issue. Once it was delivered customer service told us we had 30 days to notify them of defects since the delivery crew did not unbox it as our home was still under construction. A week later we unboxed everything and moved it into our home ourselves. At that time I called into the Glen Burnie store to notify a customer service rep of a defect. That customer service rep reported the stain on the dining room table and ask me to submit photos to her via e-mail. At that time I was told someone from the claims department would contact me in 7 to 10 days. A week went by and I reached out to that same rep again. She then told me to resubmit my info along with another photo. I again submitted the requested info. After waiting a few weeks I contacted the same rep to inquire about the claim process. At that point that same customer service rep told me nothing could be done because it's been past 30 days! At that time it was past 30 days because this rep didn't do her job duty when I originally reported the defect. There was no apology or offer to correct their mistake. If your looking for customer service take your money and sanity elsewhere. I've bought furniture for three houses and have NEVER BEEN SO DISAPPOINTED IN MY PURCHASE. I've added a photo so you can see this for yourself. The black paint was from the base which I assume happened during the manufacturing process. As you can see even after placing objects strategically on my table this spot cannot be hidden. I simply need a replacement leaf, it's not like I was asking for a new table! read more

BEWARE! TURN BACK NOW! DO NOT GO HERE! I chose one star because there are no options for ZERO STARS. I am dumb and and failed to listen to the other reviews on here! I chose to go to this location because of the convenience, its 5 miles from my house. And that's as close as I'll get to any compliment for this Store. I ordered a 8 Piece Total Bedroom Package set! The Set of my dreams, the sales man assured me great and fast delivery. FINALLY 2 1/2 months later I get a phone call stating the bedroom set was ready to be delivered, YAY right?....uh NO. It gets better... The delivery guys show up, looking rushed and confused. They have little to say, just a 'where do ya want it'. They proceed to unload the furniture as quickly as possible as if Planet Earth is coming to an end! they are tossing the cardboard and trash all over the driveway ripping and tearing the boxes open. My immediate reaction was that it looked unorganized and there were a lot of pieces..I proceeded to stay out of there way, as they were moving at lightning speed so I didn't wanna get in the way, but something inside me was so nervous to stick around! AND IM GLAD I DID!!! They do not keep the pieces together just tossing them in to one giant pile. First comes off my dresser. They plop it FACE down on the hot concrete driveway with nothing underneath, no moving blanket underneath. And I was outraged! I knew right when he did that the front of the dresser had Been most likely scratched on the front. And when I asked him to lift the dresser, he had a very nasty attitude! He jerked his head to the side and said 'mam I dunno wach u talkin' bout, der aint gonna be nuttin wrong witz it' just like that!!! (sorry about the words, but this is exactly how it sound as I couldn't quite understand him speaking and his attitude made it worse!!!! As soon as he picked the dresser up on its side, thousands of scratches all over the BRAND NEW dresser up and down and back and forth, I felt like crying. He proceeded to tell me it could be cleaned!!! And when I told him no I'll have to have the service repair guy come out and fix the scratches, he said 'mam u be trippin' lemme show u watz u don't know' and he took his scratchy glove and in a circular motion rubbed all along the top of the dresser!!!!! now the front and TOP scratched!!!!(those were his exact words, because after he was acting like this I had to text my husband to come from work because I felt threatened almost, so I made sure to keep word for word through a text to my husband of what he was saying) I ran inside the house. Once all of the furniture was inside, we noticed most of the hardware was missing as they hadn't kept it organized while taking it out of each box. They bed could not be assembled because of missing hardware. we had to wait 2 more weeks in addition to the 7 weeks we waited for the new pieces to come and STILL missing hardware. Call cust service and store manager! they do not give a rats a** !! they promise to call you back, yeah right never do!! So upset right now. I am preparing a formal complaint with Ashley Furniture w/ pics of the missing items. Most likely they will have to come and take back all the furniture and replace with a new set. the delivery company also cracked the molding on most of the pieces as well because they kept sitting it down on the hard concrete in my driveway. NO APOLOGY to date. NO ANSWERS. NO ONE CARES. Not even a 'can we offer you a free curtain rod?'!!! gonna get my own moving truck and haul this garbage back up to that store and demand a refund! Hate this place so much has caused us such a nightmare!! we are sleeping on the floor for the last 2 weeks because they assured us the bedroom set would be ready to go and we disassembled our old bed and sold it anticipating the new one would be fine!! and it's been a disaster can't even use the bed!!!! or 2 of the dressers!!! Wish I could give negative stars. Went into this store on 8/27 to buy a few pieces of furniture, sales people were uninterested in helping or making a sale. We finally found what we wanted and had to go find a sales person to complete the order. Paid cash. Like others we were told should only take a few weeks.... well next week will be 8 weeks and still no word.... called the store and no one answers the phone.. finally call customer service and they tell me couch still will not be to warehouse for another 2 weeks 11/9.... ok since Ashleys knows this is after the 8 weeks why can't we have a refund.... they have wasted almost 8 weeks of our time and are holding our money hostage till the very last day although they know they are not fulfilling the contract of the said 8 weeks.... don't spend a dime here... unprofessional staff that lie and horrible timeframes read more
