    If you can read this, "THIS IS YOUR SIGN TO BUY ELSEWHERE". 1 star for pity. my wife & I purchased a 3-Piece Sectional, entertainment tv stand & our rug to complete our new living room area. Our delivery from start was awful. Our sectional came with scuff marks all on the side, when you sit on the sectional, it makes a fun squeaky annoying sound. The tv stand magnets for drawers were broken. They took it back for review & 2 out of 3 pieces of sectional came back Sunday & the middle piece Tuesday due to truck issues. 3rd piece came in & nothing was fixed. Even the delivery driver said , " I told them when we dropped it off about the scuff markings and it's still there". We called to find solutions & after the last call my wife made, they hung up on her. Now, take your items back out of my house & you will never earn my trust with your products & services. Bob Mills definitely will take over your doors next.

    Where do I start. To say I'm disappointed and frustrated is an understatement. We have spent over $20,000 since December with issue after issue. 1) our leather sectional has three recliners where one broke 6 weeks after purchase and we're in month 5 and it's still not fixed (with a warranty), 3 home visits, 2 orders (first wrong part ordered and delivered) and no rush to expedite the part or installation. 2) we are going on our FOURTH delivery for a dresser that goes with one of two bedroom sets we bought. Each time the dresser they delivered was damaged or they broke it setting it up. They even had the audacity to act like we were being picky and "offered" for us to pick out one we liked. I said absolutely not. That's your job to: 1-ensure the furniture isn't damaged, 2-ensure it's still not damaged after loaded on the truck, and 3-ensure the furniture isn't damaged upon delivery and assembly. Ridiculous processes and no competence or customer service at all besides excuses after excuses and not assuming any responsibility on getting this right for the customer. Top it all off, the crew of 3 doing the delivery took 2.5 hours on a Sunday to assemble two bedroom suits, minus the dresser they can't furnish undamaged. Unbelievable to say the least!

    This is a place I'll never go back to. We just wanted to shop around and look at beds and what have you. The experience that we had was something that we were being pressured into buying something which was not fun. If I'm making a large purchase I expect the sales person not to pressure me or have them mislead or not know the answer to questions that I ask.

    This store had an AMAZING sale rep. Who help us get what we needed in the store, gave us opinions and options and really gave us a 5 star experience. The delivery however, if I could give 0 stars I would. Imagine being excited for the day your furniture arrives just for every single thing you ordered to be damaged. The sectional couch with two stains on it, and the four legs completely scratched up. The coffee tables that you were day dreaming about now has a missing screw and the paint already coming off every place you look. Why shop here when you could find better options at Big Lots or Walmart that would have cared to make sure my items do not get damaged & would have saved so much money considering this is a high class furniture store. I would not recommend anyone going to shop here unless you are willing to go pick it up yourself. And to those that do, or will, get delivery, make sure you check EVERYTHING.

I have a sales exempt card, but it is the address I currently live in not the address I just purchased as our post retirement forever home. Since the delivery is different than the card, they said I need an updated address from VA. Brought in the updated address sealed by VA in state of Oklahoma... white glasses said it doesn't count and needs the card. Now I have to take time off from my post-military job I just started just to have a card that the VA letter already proves. Anyone military or associated with Tinker better find a better place to spend their money that actually helps disabled vets instead of calling them liars for having moved addresses.

    Warning!!!!! Mathis is not what it used to be. My family shopped there my entire life. I am 50…read morenow. So when deciding to furnish a new home what did I do? I went to Mathis and found a beautiful large sectional. I paid an extra $300 to be part of their "special" club that assembles, delivers, and adds that bumper-to-bumper warrantee. Well, you know what Tommy Boy says about warranties? ,A month in now we realize there are six bolts missing from this sectional, which will make the legs break. It has almost broken one already. I called & the customer service rep was so rude & dismissive. She told me it was outside the seven days so it would take 2 to 4 weeks to get the parts. No genuine apology. Not even sorry this happened or that I have had a bad experience. The only apology I received was a curt one when I said what am I supposed to do for a month. I can't sit on the couch .... "Well, Ma'am, that's our policy." It was sharp, short, & really bad. who knows to look to make sure that bolts are in a Mathis couch. Don't we think more of Mathis Brothers than a cheap store? Believe me, it wasn't cheap. It's the big beautiful orangy brown one in the front entrance. I bought every piece. I can't sit on the couch because we might break it. Explaining to them that this lack of service (that I paid extra for by the way) may conclude our business for the future didn't seem to help either. What's happened to Mathis Brothers?. Oh & I have to send pics to prove it. (To be clear it says outlet but the furniture is not supposed to be damaged or bad in any way. It is not like the old "As-is" kind of outlet) Embarrassing to the legacy?.... hmmm. Maybe they don't care anymore. Another Oklahoma business that has lost its mojo through generations due to faulty customer service. I was offered a $100 gift card by her supervisor for my inconvenience. Wow, I paid 300 for the customer service that I will no longer need except when this couch falls apart every time of course. Oh here are some of the pics I had to take for them so I figured I'd put it here. Thanks Mathis for helping me prove my case. The love seat section had none of the side bolts.

I followed the instructions exactly, and a part became permanently jammed into another during normal use. When I contacted them, I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable. Instead of taking care of a customer who had just spent over $11,000, they wanted me to pay $30 in shipping for a replacement part worth around $10. That isn't good customer service--it's nickel-and-diming customers after the sale. The issue isn't the amount of money. It's the principle. Businesses that value long-term customer relationships understand that taking care of a loyal customer is worth far more than squeezing a few extra dollars out of them. As a result, they've lost all of my future business. I won't be buying chemicals, accessories, replacement parts, or recommending this store to anyone. I'll be buying locally or from Amazon instead, where customer service is often far better. If you're considering spending thousands of dollars here, ask yourself how you'll be treated once they've already got your money. Unfortunately, I found out the hard way. *NOTE: Real 1st name not real last name initial but they know who I am!!

After ordering, we were told that the couch would be delivered in 3-4 weeks, but we were pleasantly surprised to receive a call that it would be delivered early!     I paid just under $2,000 for a sectional couch and specifically pointed out damage on the floor…read moremodel while in the store. I was assured that the couch being delivered would be a brand new piece, not the damaged floor model. When the couch was delivered, it had damage in the exact same location as the floor model I had pointed out. I was told the couch they delivered came from the Tulsa location. I was skeptical so I asked the delivery driver where he picked up the couch. He picked up the couch at the Okc location. On top of that, the couch arrived missing 8 of the 16 legs. Replacement legs were later delivered, but those were also damaged. I was told a replacement couch and legs would be ordered and delivered within three weeks. Three weeks passed with no updates and no replacement parts. Each contact was initiated by me and with each inquiry the communication consisted mostly of being told the parts were expected "any day." I was offered a floor model, which I declined since I paid for a new couch. After weeks without a proper resolution, I finally submitted a credit card dispute. Interestingly, right after that I was informed replacement parts had suddenly "arrived," which raises questions given the timing. Very disappointing experience. I generally love supporting small businesses, but this situation is a reminder to document everything, every time. I work long hours away from my family to be able to afford purchases like this, so it's incredibly frustrating and disheartening when something that should be straightforward turns into an ongoing issue that feels rooted in dishonesty.
