I don't furniture shop a lot, so I feel like I can't give this a full five stars, but I actually had a good experience here. I was nervous, cause the reviews from the Norman location are terrible, and I was pleasantly surprised that the reviews for this location were so much better. You walk right in and there's just one salesperson asking if you need help. We got Timothy. We were on the hunt for a specific collection that was part of their pre-black Friday sale. Tim took us right over, told us about the pieces. We sat. I even moved a chair around so I could see how it looked. He told us about buying a living room set and getting a better deal, but was respectful when I told him we were just looking for a sofa and chair and that we'd pay for it today. He checked stock, checked and other discounts to see if he could get it cheaper and also price matched to the online sale. He wasn't pushy with the furniture protection plan, or anything else. We came. Found the sofa we wanted. Eyed a couple chairs for the future. Bought a sofa. And left. It was easy, not stressful and also didn't take an hour to do paperwork or anything. We will def be back for the other chairs! read more

At the time of my last post I was informed to expect the sectional and ottoman in August. I waited until the 28th of August and no call and no email from Ashley Furniture so I called them again and was told they were looking at some time in October at the earliest. Given this was the 4th delay and I had purchased the furniture the first of June, I asked to cancel the order. Since I paid cash, I was told I would have a check cut and mailed to me and I should receive it in 7 to 10 business days. That was the 28th of August. I called today (9.8.2020) to check on the status of my refund check and a check request hadn't EVEN been put in yet. WOW. In the past 30 years of purchasing furniture, I have never had such a terrible experience. My advice to anyone driving by or considering this store is to keep driving and find another furniture store. read more

Husband and I just moved to Oklahoma and were in desperate need of a sofa. We went to this Ashley HomeStore and ended up finding one we liked so purchased it. Items were supposed to be in stock with in a few weeks, we were given an exact day. That day came and went with no contact from the store. Called and spoke to the store manager Brent. He gave a off the cuff answer of blaming the shipment delay of over 2 weeks to COVID (his guess), offering no assistance of what I'm supposed to do in the mean time or solutions to the problem, besides cancelling the order (but I still need the sofa). He was no help, and gave a shrug of the shoulders response, as in there was nothing they could do. I'm sick of companies not being held accountable for their shortcomings as a business. I'm expected to pay the bill even if I lost my job to COVID, why is Ashley not following through with their end of the contract? Just a warning to you to shop around first! read more

I went to Ashley in search for some furniture for my future apartment. We were immediately greeted by Ashley Stover, who was so kind to help me throughout my experience. Ashley helped me with everything! She was so good with the measurements and numbers. Ashley even came in on a day that she wasn't working to help me finalize my purchase and answer all of my questions. For this being my first experience with Ashley Furniture Store, I highly recommend coming here for quality furniture and very helpful specialists like Ashley Stover. Without her, I don't know if I would have been able to get everything that I wanted. Ordered bed frame Apr 14th, missing rails and slats to this day. I was told after ordering that it now make take 12 weeks due to covid( mind you they still having sales etc knowing this) . Well was pushed out supposedly to last week. Called yesterday and it's now MAYBE end of this week. Really?.. stop these great sales if you can't produce a product in a reasonable time.. My wife and I were promised a guaranteed delivery of a couch 2 weeks from the date of purchase by a Sales Manager (Tyler) We have now been without a couch in our living room for over a month! We have tried and tried contacting the store, my wife has been told she will be called back countless times but they never do. Another manager took more off the price, but again guaranteed another inaccurate delivery date. This has been a HORRIBLE experience. I would highly recommend going elsewhere for furniture. read more

Great customer service from Jeff Hadley and his boss...we moved and needed delivery ASAP and they came through. He even called before the cross country move to make sure we could coordinate delivery. Once Jeff knew my style, he directed me to the options and I didn't have to wander around their enormous store in a daze! We've been back for more pieces since our first visit and Jeff continues to give us great service every time and answers all questions with enormous patience. We got a couch about a year and a half ago. Just realized the one delivered isn't built like the one on the showroom floor. The one we got was a cheap replica that only looked like the one we we're shown. It broke just after the year mark covered by the manufacturer. Be wary. The only reason they got a second star was because we got our bedframe from there and seems solid. Finny hustled us into that couch. Now we're looking for a new one. read more

I legitimately have to believe that the five star reviews for this business are bots... We bought our living room set from here and the salesman was great to work with. We were told that a coverage plan would be smart because we have pets and we agreed, we added the coverage. Less than a year later we noticed the furniture has worn, frayed, and has stained we decided to make a claim but didn't know how difficult this process would be. After TWO MONTHS of emails and calls we finally were able to make a claim and was met with very rude service. When we added coverage the salesman told us "This will cover everything and anything that happens to your furniture even bodily fluids!! Even Burns!!" Our furniture wasn't near to the extreme of what we were told can be covered and after jumping through numerous hoops and unfortunate service, we got denied our claim?!? My question is do I need to spill bodily fluids or put burns in this furniture to get it covered??? I'm far from a "Karen" and have never given a bad review because I try to find the best in a company, being a business owner myself... but I feel absolutely lied to. I ran into a couple of challenges but was helped through the end of the process by Frank Benedetti to complete the process loop. Great location and people to work with!!! I will return. Furniture is nice but company and sales rep lied to me at this location. Don't make promises that you can't keep. I explained to the sales rep that I had ordered the same furniture from another Ashley's in a different state and that shipment never came in 6 months, and the sales rep assured me that it doesn't take that long to get orders in. The sales rep told me that he could get my furniture delivered to me within a shorter period of time since I had already received half of my bedroom set. Long story short Ashley's delivered a foot and headboard, but neglected to give me the sideboards to put my bed together so my $4000 mattress that I bought from them set on the floor for 4 months. FYI, they do not take any items back once delivered due to covid even if it's in a box, so they will give you randomly pieces that don't go together. It will be a year next month and I am still waiting on 1 dresser and every time I call, I get a new delivery date. At this point I might just build my own dresser. Lesson learned. Never pay up front for furniture that you have to wait a year for. I always purchase from Ashley's, but never again. Covid can not be the answer for everything, and even the manager can't me a real estimate. read more

We came here to buy our toddler's first "big boy bed" and I am so glad we did. Chris helped us find the bed in less than 10 minutes and then stuck with us while Ashley helped us with a mattress. No pressure, good guidance and perfect attention to our little man. All in, I think we got the twin bed and mattress in under an hour and under $500-- who can complain about any of that?! We have a lot of Ashley in our house that we got from other stores before the AFHS store was around and I am glad we can come here from now on to get accessible, nice looking furniture. read more

It has been a nightmare with our bedroom furniture order. We were given a phone number to call to check on the status of our order. We placed this order 5/11/21 and never once had anyone from Ashley call and tell us the status, we had to call them. In the order email it said to contact Amber Perdue if we had any questions or concerns. We started calling in late July and was told records shows it should be on their truck the second week of August, well that came and went with NO call from Ashley so I called again, never being able to reach Amber Perdue. At this point it beyond frustrating so I called the the Friday before Labor Day and left a message for Amber. Called Tuesday after the holiday and left a message. I finally called Mathis Brothers and spoke to the store manager Roger, who was super hateful and couldn't offer any further assistance so I called back the number provided in the email and finally Amber Perdue answered. I told her I have left her several messages and customer service rep left her an email the day before. Amber said she doesn't have a voicemail and has 18 unread emails. She never once tried to make things better and I told her the that everything is in except for the bed rails and foot board. I told her that the person I spoke to on Tuesday said it's supposed to be in yesterday. Amber was very dismissive and said she needed a moment to look at order, I said ok. She then comes on to tell me it will now be some time in December for bed rails and even possibly January of 2022. This was just unacceptable and the lack of care was felt not only from Ashley but the Mathis Brothers team too. It's almost like they feel they can talk to you this way because they have you over a barrel. Now I'm reading all these reviews, I should have read these first. The higher up management were just AWFUL but the lower level people tried to help and deserve better. We will take our money elsewhere! read more

Amazing shopping experience today with CHAD ELLYSON!!!! Went into the store today after Church with my 2 sons one of which was interested in shopping for bedroom furniture. Chad greeted us as we walked in. He asked what we were shopping for and my son told him that he just wanted to look around a little bit. Here's where Chad earned my respect, he offered his name and assistance if we had any questions then allowed us to look. He gave us a bit and then came back to us. When he rejoined us, it was like having another family member shopping with us He was extremely knowledgeable and answered my sons questions with ease. We decided to walk through the 2 adjoining stores but told Chad we would be back. We went through the mattress store and Mathis Brothers part and were not impressed. We went back to Chad. My son decided he was going to think on the bedroom furniture. Chad reached out and shook his hand which was another level of respect earned from me. He thanked us for coming in. The store was crowded and not well organized. I was looking for a "manly" recliner and after the woman fast walked me all over the place, without finding what I wanted, I wandered around on my own and found it. Went back the next day to buy and had to order(with a different sales person)--expected delivery about 2 months out. I paid in full. After 2 delivery delays, which I only found out about because I called them, more than 3 months, and waiting on hold for over half an hour trying to talk to a manager about details on my delivery because neither sales person would return a phone call for 2 days, I was told the managers don't answer the phone, but relay messages through the receptionist. She said it might come in 2 more weeks. I cancelled the order and was told someone would call me to do that paperwork. I waited. No one called. A week later I called them and was told they tried once, got no answer and couldn't leave a message, which was a lie, because I have voice mail. I hope my refund is now being processed. Ridiculous. No customer service at all. Will NEVER go there again. read more

My wife and I are beside ourselves when it comes to warranty services and lack of care or empathy. Our experience started 12/14/2020 when I arranged and paid for my couch to be picked up for warranty work. We are not large people by any means, combined we weigh 268lbs and we treat our belongings very well since we worked hard to afford them. We started to notice every time we would sit on the couch it almost felt loose and you slumped to one side. I have sciatica so this caused great discomfort. We tried getting a foam and board support thinking it was the cushions. Needless to say, I went ahead and called and the young lady was very courteous and professional, I wish I could remember her name but didn't think I would be sitting here 5mo later with no couch. The original pickup was 12/14/2021 and was told it would take no longer than 10 days before the couch would be returned. There was no follow up so I called to find out the vendor was on holidays so they were not sure if they needed to replace it under warranty or fix the issue. I called again since I still had no call back and requested the couch be returned as I had family coming to visit for the new year holiday and we would need something to sit on. They complied with my request and said they would call once they have a decision and pick the couch back up. We received a call in March 2021 before the 13th (just before my 3yr olds birthday) to schedule a pick up and informed us, the vendor was going to fix the couch and they have the parts needed to do so. Upon pick up we were informed this would take no longer than 5 business days. Once gain two weeks go by and no follow up so we called. We were informed they didn't have all the parts and needed to order 14 more since they only had 2 of the parts on hand. We requested the o speak to a manager on multiple call-ins to no avail. We received a $50.00 gift card to Ashely furniture for our troubles. There is no couch I can buy for $50.00 and I shouldn't have to purchase a new couch when ours is only 3yrs old (purchased May or June of 2017, just after purchasing a new home). We spent over $4500 dollars of hard earned dollars hoping this would be where we bought all future needs since Mrs. Connie was so wonderful. The situations these customer service reps are placed in is unrealistic and management needs to be held accountable. Leadership appears to lacking which is unfortunate to their service representatives. Originally we were told the couch would have to be replaced just waiting for the vendor to get back to them. We finally received a call last week stating the parts would arrive in 2 weeks and would have our couch back in about 4 weeks. There was no apologies, just a call from service department. We understand things have been not as expected for many of us but the sheer lack of empathy, compassion or what have you is unacceptable. If I could afford to I would have told them to keep the couch and bought new from someplace else. I write this review to no other avail of getting my frustrations out during this 6 month long process. The sales team is well trained and I would even say the customer service does all that they can personally do as well to the best of their ability. As for the decision makers of this organization, I'm highly disappointed I won't say more than that, we can all get better and I hope this review helps to change the culture in upper management. We live local and like to support local vs going online but instances like this make it hard not to just hop on Amazon. read more
