We understood but we are going on 4-5 months now and still don't have it. We get a new delivery time frame every time we call. We always have to call, they have never called us. Have been told "well your salesperson no longer works here" and?! That is not my problem. We have been making payments on our bedroom set that we have yet to get. Concur with the same reviews that were made in 2021. We ordered a whole bedroom set and we're told 2-6 weeks at the time of purchase. Just went today and was told "most" of our order will be in by the end of February which is about 15 weeks if it actually shows up at the end of feb. no refunds, no compensation, no apologies, nothing. Do not order from Ashley's. Their sales store team is great. However, once you buy the sales team no longer helps you, they will re-route you to call the customer service number. I have been waiting for my furniture for 6 weeks. I have been charged for something I technically do not have yet. I have called the customer service number multiple times and I have asked fore a call back and no one has called me back. No one can tell me the shipping information for my furniture. Its not worth buying from Ashley's. Just order from Big Lots, Amazon, or JC Penny. read more

Ordered my bedroom set in beginning of November, still nothing and ETA date unknown. I feel like the girl who posted earlier about ordering in September and nothing. Now that I've received my furniture after my purchase on January 06, 2021, I wanted to submit my review (today is May 11,2021). When I purchased my love seat and rocker/recliner, I was told that delivery would be by the end of January. When February arrived, I was told the rocker/recliner would be delivered but we'd have to wait on the sofa. We didn't buy a sofa so when I tried to correct the salesperson, they argued with me over my purchase. Once I contacted the warehouse about my order, it was corrected and was told I would get it by the end of March. I called about when the delivery would occur and was told I'd have to wait until mid April due to the love seat was not yet available. Well, time passed and I called for delivery once more. Finally, I received my love seat today. Will I buy at Ashley's again? NO I WILL NOT!! Do yourself a favor, ask about the cancellation policy before you purchase from them. Get a guarantee in writing about delivery. What is a reasonable time frame for delivery if your purchase is not in the store. You might have a better experience but I did not. Do NOT shop here! I'm incredibly disappointed in my experience with this store. I will NEVER shop at Ashley again. Jared is a horrible sales person. He made promises that we not true. After 4 weeks of waiting for our couch, it turns out it could NOT be delivered to us. Jared lied to us, and now I've been without a couch for over 4 weeks and had to find a different one. Even their headquarters didn't know why he said it could be delivered to us. (We bought in San Angelo and moved to San Antonio. He knew we were moving and supposedly "checked" to see if it could be delivered to our new house and he said it could.) All they did was refund us our money. No other sort of compensation for this crappy service. I've tried calling the store and even calling Jareds cell phone, and he won't pick up. If you're looking for a furniture store, go to HomeZone next to Home Depot. Way better prices, customer service, and faster delivery dates. read more

Staff have been terminated at the local San Angelo TX store due to poor service and communication. Deceptive trade practices. Transferred to customer service each time when we inquire about our order. Wait times over an hour to speak to someone. Given multiple delivery dates which never happen. Received a bill for furniture that has not arrived yet! Will report to BBB and an attorney. Asked again to speak with a supervisor and was told "they were going to be to busy to speak with me due to a big sale they have going on at 10am in the morning?" Really? Do not purchase from them!! They suck!!! Period. It's been nearly 3 months since we placed our order and they keep blaming covid for why we haven't received our furniture. They are real quick to take your cash but when something like this happens there is no refunds just store credit I would recommend any other place for your furniture needs. This place sucks! The sales people are awesome but our overall experience sucked. We bought furniture from there and noticed it was cheaper online. Called back a the same day and have been ignored. We were quoted a certain payment and a different payment (higher) came in the mail. We still have not received our furniture (3weeks now) yet we've already had to pay our first bill. Like so many others. If I could give a negative number I would. On Jan 12th I went in the local store. The sales guy was trying to be smooth like a car salesperson. Nice enough but you could see he was simply trying to make a sale. He told me 2 to 4 weeks but it usually takes sooner. First time I called to check on progress and when FINALLY getting to talk to someone, they said it would be the end of the month. It is now Feb 26th and again, after taking an extremely long time to talk to a person, I was told now it will be Mar 8th. I will never go into that store again. read more

I've had mostly positive experience with other Ashley furniture stores but this one (which unfortunately is the only Ashley store in town) is atrocious! First, I was promised by the manager Sam (who I learned was let go because he wasn't doing his job correctly) I will get my furniture within a 2-week timeframe. I went ahead and purchased it but almost 2 months later, I still don't have my furniture! I tried to cancel the order but unfortunately, have to pay a 25% restocking fee. Please heed the warning of the people on here. DO NOT buy from this store. There are 2 other furniture stores just a few blocks away that can help you. The reason i am writing on this store instead the one in Abilene, Texas. They are owned by the same person. my in laws bought two recliners from the store on june 20th and finally got them today. Will they was the wrong Chairs wrong color wrong style wrong price. If that's possible so when i called custmore service they don't make mistake. so i went to the store and find out they no longer had them. so they sent them two chairs that cost 289.00 when theirs was 499.00 and they bought two. way to go ashley take advantage of the older crowd read more

Go spend your time, money, and energy elsewhere. Management is very rude and frustrating to work with. I bought a TV here on Black Friday. I was told delivery (via UPS) of the TV would take 2-6 weeks. I called them today (on week 2) to check on my order. The first thing I hear the woman say is "uhh I don't see a date on your order". She let me go to figure it out and called me back about 5 minutes later saying her manager said that she needed to get my email address from me (which they should already have, as they took this from me when I purchased the TV) because they have to send my email to their rewards partner and that company will send me a voucher on how to redeem my TV. Are you kidding me? I asked her if they should have done that when I ordered and she says "well, we kind of just figured out we had to do this". Again, are you kidding me?! She told me it would be 2-3 business days before they reach out and had no ETA on when I would receive the TV. What would've happened if I never called? I'm guessing I would not receive a TV. So, if you see this, you might call to check on your Black Friday order. Update: I am on week six since purchasing my TV and they have still not sent me an email so that I can even redeem the TV. wow. I agree with the others...I wish Yelp offered negative stars. We have now had our delivery scheduled four (FOUR) times over the past 3 or 4 weeks and still no table! Ashley scheduled, and confirmed, yet another delivery for today (10 Dec). I called this morning to confirm that, yes, we are indeed getting our table today and was assured we were on the schedule. Twenty minutes later, they called me to tell me the table had been put on the wrong truck and that we are now scheduled (AGAIN) for this Saturday! If it wasn't for my money being involved this would be comical. I have called their "customer service" twice to complain and both times their rep sounded like they really didn't care one way or next about my problem. Both of them offered weak excuses, interrupted me, and barely even offered an apology. The one this morning actually said, "the system put the table on the wrong truck; there's nothing 'I' can do!" wow. How about an apology right off the bat? Now, to be honest, the first time I called "customer service" the guy half-heartedly (and I mean that sincerely...he barely cared at all) offered some in-store credit as compensation. I didn't even give him time to tell me how much it was because I was already laughing. Why would I take store credit in a store I'll never step foot in again?! The business practices of this store are appalling. I went in to look for a livingroom set and was met by Lorrie who was very nice but not very helpful. After repeated laps of the store we weren't able to find what we had found online and wanted to see but we did find other options. But, while we were looking at sets we found a clearance bedroom set that had pieces already sold. The bed frame/head board/foot board set was still available and had a tag attatched to it for $169. We were surpised by the price and confirmed it with Lorrie and then told her we would like to purchase it. She left and then returned telling us that the manager had said the lowest for that piece was $600. We were suprised and said "what?" and she explained the $169 clearance price was for the one bottom rail. At this point we said no thanks and left but once in the parking lot we felt like that maybe if we talked to the manager we could figure something out. We were wrong the manager was stern and said no the best he could do was $500. My husband then left and could hear the manager yelling at Lorrie. The whole situation was unreasonable and unprofessional and i can see why we were the only customers in the entire store with 15+ employees that didnt know what was going on. If I could give zero stars I would but one is the lowest I can give. We bought a reclining sectional about a year ago. We were shown a leather option in the store but wanted fabric. The saleswoman showed us all the features of a power recliner and told us she could get it in fabric so we asked if she could show us the fabric on another couch so we could see if it was sturdy because we have a dog. The fabric she showed us seemed thick so we ordered it. It came in and it wasn't a power reclining set like she showed us and the fabric was a thin velvet material that was nothing like what she told us it was going to be. We had to call customer service multiple times and were always told we would receive a call back and never did no matter how many times we called. We finally just gave up and resigned ourselves to keeping the couch we were sent. She also sold us the extra warranty and told us it would cover them coming to clean it once a month. I called after a few months to get it cleaned and was told they don't do that, they just spot clean if there are stains but they don't clean the couch. Fast forward to the beginning of April and I found a couple of holes in the fabric. I called customer service which is a nightmare because you have to wait 15-20 minutes on hold to even get a person on the phone. They asked me to send pics of the holes to an email address, so I did, and the person emailed back asking for my delivery address. I sent it and didn't hear back for a couple of weeks and emailed him back and he finally answered that he was having the fabric sent to me and to call as soon as it came in to have a tech come replace it. Two weeks or so go by and the fabric never came so I call again to be told it was never ordered so it was finally ordered through customer service. It arrived and I called for a tech to come and he showed up and told me he couldn't do it because if he pulled the fabric off, it would pull the cushion off too and my couch would sink so he said he was going to order the cushion right then and that it would come by Friday of that week and to call again to schedule. To this day, 3 weeks later, the cushion hasn't arrived. I called customer service again and was on hold for 18 minutes and finally got a woman who told me it was scheduled for delivery on July 22 and I asked if I could schedule the tech to come the next week and then she started talking about parts for the bed we bought from Ashley (which doesn't have any problems and I've never called about the bed) and not the couch so she had no idea what she was even talking about. I asked for a supervisor and she put me on hold and never came back so I hung up after being on hold for 35 minutes and called again. Had to wait another 20 minutes on hold to get another person to answer and his phone connection was so bad I couldn't understand a full word he said, so I hung up and called a third time and waited another 15-20 minutes on hold before I got a third person who finally told me they had no records of any of the issue because San Angelo's records were merging with Lubbock's so they couldn't find anything on my account. So here we are, 4 months later and the couch has not been repaired when I paid the extra for the warranty. Their customer service is absolutely awful and you will not get help. You can't even call the local store because you get re-routed to Lubbock and then they drop the ball over and over no matter how many times you call and nothing gets resolved. We will never EVER do business with Ashley again. The whole thing was a mess from the beginning and the girl didn't even know what she sold me on the couch or the warranty and they didn't bother to make it right but when you pay extra for the warranty and they won't even fix it, I'm done. read more

If less than one star was possible....We ordered a mattress replacement on Mar 12th. We.had to pay $300 for the exchange. Since then, we have not gotten ONE phone call for delivery. We called Lubbock for updates and kept being told it wasn't here yet. Whe. We call our local store in San Angelo, they tell.us it's on the next truck and Lubbock will be calling to set up delivery. When we call Lubbock we have to wait on hold for an hour or more each time. Finally on May 8th, we call and we're told that our mattress is there and available for delivery. They couldn't tell us how long it had been there. They wouldn't say why they haven't called to srt up delivery. We arrange for delivery on May 13th. They were supposed to call to tell us morning or afternoon on the 13th...no call. Called the store, they can't get a hold of anyone in Lubbock. On the 13th the store tells us that the mattress was damaged in.shipping and a replacement had been ordered. I call Lubbock and am told the MATTRESS NEVER ARRIVED. I took a day off work.for nothing, and they didn't even call to cancel. When I used the chat feature I was told they couldn't see store orders only online, the rep I talked to on the phone told me I was mistaken...meaning he called me a liar even though I knew who I had talked to. I told him that I had put.in a request for a call back the first time I called on the 13th and never got one, and this had happened before. The reps say that we are putting pur own phone numbers in wrong...every time. But guess what, you dont put a number in. The system recognize our number. Filed a complaint with BBB...though judging from reviews...it won't matter. Tried to call corporate...they can't do anything. Still no mattress, no update. Over 10k spent at this store... read more

Ashleys promoted a huge Labor Day sale so I'm excited to go out there to get what I'm looking for which is 2 accent chairs, get to the line only to find out that you have to wait and order it on line and on top of that your really not saving anything because they charge you $50 to ship it.
