The worst customer service ever! We purchased a couch and two recliners that when we received them, they were stiff as a board and uncomfortable. We went back to the store to verify and sure enough, they were nothing like the ones in store. They have given us the run around for a month now. We will never purchase from Ashley again. I will also put this on all social media. It is back to La-Z-Boy for us. We have never had an issue. Don't be fooled by their quick delivery. It is best to wait for quality furniture. It is almost impossible to get ahold of anyone in the store (they don't answer their phone), and all the other numbers have either been disconnected or they are recordings with extremely long wait times. I ordered the king canopy bed and a large couch. No problems with the couch but I kept getting the runaround with the bed. I ordered in December and my order was finally fulfilled in April. That's because I put together the last piece of the bed myself. The first time my bed was delivered it was damaged so the delivery guy told me to refuse it and he would make sure I got a new one within 48 hours. Well it never came. What happened over the next few months was me taking time off work multiple times and they kept standing me up and/or messing up my order. The furniture is nice but the customer service is the worst as they only communicate by policy via email. WARNING We purchased furniture from Ashley that was full of wood termites.

I liked my salesman but am very dissatisfied with my mattress purchase. I spent almost $4,000 on a new mattress and foundation and after only a few months my mattress is now making noise every time you move on it. I called Ashley's to have them look at it and the technician determined it was the foundation. The tag on my foundation says it was made by Ashley's. They have chosen not to fix or do anything about it. I can't believe I spent so much money on a defective product that's less than a year old and that they won't do anything about. My family was greeted by Kayla, she was really great! Kalya let us wander the store to look at everything, since we hadn't really decided on anything but color. Kayla was super helpful, answered every question we had. We went back three times before we decided, each time I asked for Kayla or found her as she was really great. I would have bought my furniture here and was prepared to, however there financing put both my husband and I off, as I do not think purchasing furniture should be harder than buying a house. We purchased on their online store, not because of the experience here but because online the things we wanted were 480. cheaper than the store. Great service, super people. Friendly store. Ashley Home Store has lied to us and given us the runaround since March 2021 when we were promised a $200 gift card for purchasing a mattress. It's amazing that my initial comment was deleted by someone. This is what I wrote and an update: On October 22, 2019 I purchased a dining room set from their store in Sanford. The salesperson was nice and offered insight when needed. Although I was willing to pick up the set after paying cash, I was told it would benefit me to have them deliver the product so I would be protected by having their experienced personnel unpack and professionally put together the table, so I agreed. I also paid for the furniture (wood not fabric) insurance plan. Upon delivery, my experience with Ashley was everything BUT professional. The two delivery people arrived dripping wet with sweat. They even started by asking for some paper towels to dry off, although they needed more than paper towels. I provided them the towels and also gave them cold drinks. They returned to the truck, with their sweaty clothing and hair and began to remove the six unprotected fabric chairs by placing the fabric portion of the chairs on their shoulders while the other person propped it on his head for support. They lined the chairs in the driveway until they were unloaded so I immediately went out to carry them inside to avoid them carrying it in due to their sweaty condition. Unfortunately, I only managed to get two in before they grabbed the others. As a result, one of the fabric chairs were stained sweat & dirt which I was not insured for. The worst occurred when they brought the table in. The table came with a lot of hardware so they place the table where it would be kept and began to discuss between themselves on the procedure to install the parts. After 35-minutes of them making no progress I suggested that they review the instructions, which they replied that it wasn't necessary and they had it under control. They still had a bag full of hardware on the floor so I left the room for two minutes. When I returned, the table was standing and the bag and hardware were no longer insight (very difficult to believe they were done in the two minutes I left). They said they were done, gave me the center leaf (which I did not want installed at the time) and had me sign their invoice. When my guests arrived for Thanksgiving, I went to open the table to place the center leaf in place and the two table legs supports came unattached from the legs (see photo-numerous missing bolts). The table was also unbalanced after putting in the leaf because it would appear the legs were installed improperly. On top of the crossover support from under the table, there was a broken screw head, where it came from is unknown other than somewhere under and part of the table. When I called Ashley to have someone come out it was initially recommended to go to the hardware store and put some screws in the frame which they were told it was not happening, it required bolts to fit it through the pre-threaded legs. Rather than fixing what should have been done at the time of delivery, I was required to use the insurance plan so a claim was called in. Several days later I receive a text from them requiring that I take photos and send it back to them so they can evaluate how to approach the issue and that nothing would be scheduled until they receive it. I took photos and explained in a returned text the problems within minutes of their notification and I received a receipt that my message was received. Almost another week passed when I called them on an update, and was told they never received my photos or text. I was then told by another employee that they did and would arrange a date for them to come out. Within 3-hours I received a call back from the employee who stated they will have someone out in 48-hours to correct the problem. 24-hours later, I was told I would now have to wait another week. I'm still waiting, on not a delivery truck, but someone with some competence, and knowledge on how to take care of their customer. I will not return to this store for any future purchases and I suggest for other potential customers to shop around before shopping here. UPDATE: Went to Ashley's to express my concerns in person and spoke with manager Kristy Smith. She refunded my delivery charge and told me that they will send a new table because if it was put together wrong then it could have caused other problems. She then scheduled my delivery two weeks out. One week later, I received a call from delivery, stating they will be coming by with new hardware the next day. When I told them that I was supposed to have a new table delivered, she told me that it was not in the computer that a table was scheduled. I cancelled the hardware to wait on the table. On 12/11 I received two recorded calls from Ashley's, one stating delivery was scheduled during a four hour window starting at 9:30 and the other stating the same window at 12:30. Around 11:30 an individual showed up stating he was there to replace the hardware. Ran out of characters, see supplement if they do not delete. read more

Happy with my future but very dissatisfied with the Warranty Coverage they offered. Had an issue with my love seat. Took a month before anyone would ever come out to check it out. Then I had to call 3 different numbers because I was getting passed around. Finally someone came to my home. Used some cheap a.. cleaner and spot cleaned my cushions. Told me it was ok but also ordered new replacement covers. Another month goes by and nothing so once again I have to make calls. Then was told the covers we're on order and would be here a week or so. 3 weeks go by and nothing so again I start making calls. Today after all this BS the girl on the other end says my claim was denied and they were not going to do anything else. Now it has been going on 3 months and after all this I end up with damaged furniture at a cost of $500. What a complete waste. DON'T GET THE EXTRA WARRANTY COVERAGE. We waited for our delivery date for 3 wks only to find out that on the date it was to arrive we would have to wait 2 more wks. Took off work and got rid of old furniture the night before and we have company coming from out of state next week and we have no furniture. Called to speak with the store manager knowing nothing could be done because our furniture isn't in the warehouse and nothing I say or do is going to make it come any sooner. I just wanted to be heard and let them know that this is a big problem! We should have been told this could happen the day we purchased and a phone call letting us know the delivery date had been delayed would have been amazing as I would still have furniture for my company to sit on next week. I had such a great experience with this store! They were super friendly and helpful even though they were extremely busy due to the Black Friday sales. I had tried to place an order for what I wanted online, but the online warehouse was out of stock. When I called to speak to someone, the Altamonte store was rude and very curt with me. I then decided to call the Sanford location and they were EXTREMELY helpful and apologetic about my experience with the other store. Horrible experience! We bought a bedroom set 8 weeks ago and are still dealing with the exchange of the mattress! The customer service is horrible! They have our account completely messed up with my husband's name as my maiden name and my old address AFTER they have delivered our furniture to the current address!! Ashley in general has great furniture at good pricing. I am very happy with my couch and dining chairs the quality is great. But the stores are run terribly. They operate like a car dealership, negotiating prices, walking back and forth to their managers desk, etc. The sales reps I've dealt with did not have the best or most professional attitude that I have seen and can be pushy. I actually ended up just cancelling my last order because I was told by the store I could not get my stuff delivered for 2 weeks. Do not buy from this store. Once they have your money they are done with you. They do not stand behind their products. I bought a Mattress set from Lily at the Sanford store. It was on sale but she assured me it was brand new in the back room. Well I pick it up and one side is shorter than the other and when I move the mattress squeals and squeaks so loudly my dogs are afraid of it. No one in their right mind would ever buy a mattress like this. I did not have the option to check this exact mattress. Then when I asked for the manager talking to Carlos the manager he yells at me and tells me that's what I paid for. He told me corporate isn't going to do anything for me either. He also yelled at me and told me if I bring back the mattress I can have the dirty one on the floor but I must do it today my 6 or Tuesday by 6 or never come to his store again. I asked for the other new one in the back and he said no take the dirty floor model or nothing. I asked who owned the store he said good luck finding out. I absolutely just had the most disturbing incomplete delivery ever! Not only did the man delivering the desk park in the middle of the road so no cars on our road get by but he brought his girlfriend along completely unprofessionally dressed too. They left a huge mess from the front door up the stairs into the room and didn't even finish assembling the desk. They were missing two screws for a bottom add on piece so they decided to not even finish assembling the actual desk they couldn't even be bothered to finish assembling the rest of the deal they had parts for!!!!! I even asked them too or I was going to refuse delivery and he said he wouldn't take it back calling me boss lady I have never been more disgusted with a furniture delivery everrrr. No one should ever have to have this happen after spending money on furniture expecting a delivery. Beyond awful appealing experience and I have a half assembled desk and the led lights do not work. I should charge Ashley furniture a clean up fee for the mess they made oh and btw I asked them if they were going to clean up and they said they don't do that. Save yourself and order elsewhere. After going online to apply for a credit card we decided to visit this location to make a purchase for a bedroom set, living room set and dining room set. We walked and made eye contact with a few reps and didn't even get a hello. After about 20 mins or so if looking around we realized no one even took the time to make see if we had any questions etc. I purposely walked by the middle desk were a group of employees literally stood by just to talking. I remember 2 ladies and a guy with a black suit and as we walked past still no hello or anything. You'd think this was during peak time and it wasn't. We were in the market for a sectional. Ashley home store was our second stop and the sales person was very helpful. We found the sofa my wife has been wanting for many years. We left without buying it to shop the market and went to every furniture store available in our area. The prices for sectionals are fairly similar but the quality and finish at Ashley was much better. We returned a few days later to make our purchase and found it on sale ( Black Friday Special) We were so excited. To make the experience even better, the manger gave us a small gift. He noticed my wife looking at a small Christmas Pillow and overheard her asking me to add it to the bill. I would recommend this store to anyone looking for furniture. Their prices are competitive, their sales people are charming and their management is both professional and courteous. They have made my world a better place. If you are looking for furniture DO NOT use Ashley's home store. Especially the one in Sanford. They suck. They really do not have their shit together. I bought a media center and was lied to by the sales associate Marylin when she told me it was real wood. The piece arrives at my house, I inspect it and it is compressed sawdust with a fake wood finish. On top of that the media center was damaged and scratched in several places from careless movers that work for them. My wife and I give them a second chance, we go back to the store and picked out a different piece of furniture and this time when it gets delivered to my home, it's the wrong damn color. I got so aggravated I went to the store and got refunded. Ashley's home store officially lost my business. They are terrible. They will lie to you just to make a sale and obviously the salesmen there not smart enough to pay attention to detail when you ask for a specific color. These people suck and are very irritating.
