EDIT: Unfortunately, I have to change my 5 star review to a 3. I've left my original review below because I stand by it--Lacie and the employees my husband and I originally dealt with are fantastic and extremely helpful. However, Andrew from the Terre Haute store (who refused to give me his last name), is extremely rude and should not be allowed to deal with customers first hand. Perhaps give him a job in the back, or on a computer, far away from other humans. The issue we have with delivery is extremely frustrating (in case you didn't know, they will give you a delivery date, but not a time frame. For a time, you have to wait multiple days, and then if that time does not work for you, you must reschedule, again not knowing a time, which means each time you schedule, it's rolling dice that it might or might not work for your schedule, potentially setting you back weeks on delivery--asinine, to say the least). I spoke with many customer service reps about the time frame issue, and each time, although I could not be helped, I was at least spoken to with respect and understanding--at least four reps told me that they agreed--the system was flawed and inconvenient. But not Andrew. No, Andrew's tone was smug and put off; annoyed by my complaints. He told me that I was being unreasonable, that when I bought my furniture, I signed and agreed to their delivery terms (valid), and that in all the years he's worked for Ashley, I'm the only customer to ever complain about the delivery procedure. On top of that, he spoke over me while I tried to explain the issue and interrupted me when I asked him to listen by saying, "I have listened, and you keep repeating yourself." After being told by every other customer service rep that they, too, would be frustrated in my situation, and that they, too, agree not having a time frame is inconvenient and illogical, I find it hard to believe that I'm your only customer to ever complain, Andrew. Regardless, you do not speak to customers the way you spoke to me. Because of Andrew alone, we do not plan on doing business with Ashley Homestore anymore. The only reason this is a 3 star rating and not a 1 star is because of the fantastic service we had to start with. Lacie, I hope you don't have to work with Andrew very often--that can't be a very comfortable work environment. Andrew, you get zero stars. Please stop working with the general public. ------------------------- Great customer service! I purchased a couch, oversized chair, armless chair and ottoman along the with GBS 5 year protection plan in June of 2015. It's been 5 years and I have not made any claims. When I purchased the protection plan, I was told that if there were no claims when the term expires, I would received either a refund or store credit. I called the GBS Protection Plan line and was told to contact the store. I have been trying to reach the store for 3 days and have left 3 messages. I have not received a call back. This is very poor customer service. Additionally, the couch has not held up as well as I expected and will been to be replaced very soon. Update-I stopped by the store in Terre Haute today and found that to get the purchase price of my protection plan, it could only be used as a credit toward a $500 purchase. That means to get my money back, I would be required to spend at least $200 more dollars. Very disappointing!!! My time could have been saved if the store had replied to the three or four messages I left asking them to call me. Today, I told them "no thanks" and left the store. I will not be shopping at any Ashley Furniture Store in the future! Beware, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is! PS- I relied as instructed below and still did not get a reply. I received a postcard in the mail about their Memorial Day sale. We went in and found a new dining room table because they had one year same as cash with 20% off. We have a family of seven and never can find a table with chairs that is large enough to suit our family. But AShley's furniture was the only furniture store in town that had a table that would suit our family. We also bought a new rug which was awesome and we got to take it home with us immediately. A young girl named Sydney showed us our furniture. She was in training and had never worked with anyone before, but she did great and I know that she'll do wonderful in the future in sales. A few years ago we got a sectional couch from Ashley's from Crissy Sanders. She is no longer a sales associate with them but we had such a great experience we went back to see what they had in tables and found a beautiful one. My husband and I just moved to Terre Haute and upgraded from a small apartment to a large house, so needless to say, we need a lot of furniture! We worked with Andrew Spears, who made our visit easy. He introduced himself when we walked through the door, gave us pertinent information, and then let us take time to walk around the store ourselves--no hovering. He worked with us on pricing and made the dining room set that we fell in love with more affordable. He walked us through pricing for each piece, gave us time to consider our options, and helped us with financing options. He was very knowledgeable throughout the entire process. We will be working with him in the coming months to furnish the rest of our bare rooms. If you walk into Ashley, ask for Andrew! read more

The experience I had here was amazing. The sales representative, Kylee, was awesome. She was very helpful and didn't badger us to make a purchase. We looked at a local furniture store also but that was a headache -- we were badgered from the moment we got into the store and he never left our side, always talking and said some inappropriate things. It was too much so we went back to Ashley Home Store and I'm glad we did. We went in there three or four separate times and the same sales person was always there and always helpful but not overbearing. I went in just to look around; my salesperson was very respectful and knowledgable. Honestly, I was very impressed. She made it easy for us to make our selections by even drawing our rooms on paper and allowing us to visualize what it was going to look like. Because we have never received the type of respect and customer service in a furniture store, our sales rep gained our trust; and we ended up furnishing our home with her that night. On Saturday the 17th of August my wife and I visited the Ashley furniture store in Terre Haute, Indiana. We were greeted by Kevin Simpson the sales person which offer to assist us. We were allowed to browse the items in the store before Kevin returned asking if we were looking for anything specific. He was very helpful and attentive during the discussions about the products and when we had questions about how the BOGO initiative could be applied to merchandise he quickly got with his manager and gave us the answers we were seeking. Terrible customer service. We were lied to multiple times in the store, the delivery service can't keep their story straight or return a phone call, the website form conveniently doesn't work, and now their corporate customer service can't respond to an email. I had to cancel hosting several events because my furniture still isn't here. Professionalism is apparently non-existent with this business, so if you expect them to deal with professionals, look elsewhere. read more

Great customer service. Our sales associate, Justin Stewart was very helpful with ordering our couch which came a little over a week later. We picked it up from the store and they helped load it into our van. The couch was in perfect condition -cushions, pillows and all!
