I need to take a moment to give a shout-out to Bob's Furniture (specifically Maryanne, who works…read morethere). Backstory: I bought our couch there about 4 years ago. At the time, I debated about purchasing the extra protection/guarantee thing for $99 and then figured what the hell... I have a kid & cats. Welp. Got a hole in the couch, and it's been slowly getting beaten up - stains don't come out, that kind of thing. Another friend told me her partner, who's just bought a new place in NYC, got his couch - the same kind I have - at Bob's, but now it includes built-in shelves on either side and charging stations. Huh. So last week, I popped up to Bob's to check out the new couch. I wasn't thrilled about having to shell out $$ for a new couch, but when I talked to Maryanne, the salesperson, she said that the policy I bought might cover the cost to replace it. I was dubious but agreed it was worth the 10 minutes it took to file a claim. Lo and behold. Got an email from the claims dept. yesterday with a voucher for replacing my couch! The OG model I have isn't made anymore, but the upgrade is better anyway. Popped up to Bob's today. Ordered the new couch. Used the voucher -- free delivery, new protection plan included -- and it cost me a whole $47 out of pocket. Shout-out to Stephen for his help today & for assuring me that Maryanne would get the commission since she's responsible for suggesting I try the claims process in the first place. Moral of the story -- Bob's has decent furniture. Nothing's built to last anymore, unfortunately, but their policy -- if you purchase the protection plan for $99 -- is absolutely worth it. Definitely recommend them.

They sent no one out to fix it but instead had there delivery guys fix it. Cable still doesn't work and still haven't heard back from anyone. Also the couch two of the legs were off and the whole bottom of the couch is peeling. Spend the little extra money and go somewhere else. Because even being discount place isn't worth it.

Unfortunately, our experience after delivery hasn't matched those expectations. We purchased a kitchen island and a sectional couch. The finish on the kitchen island had to be redone within the first year, and now that it's out of warranty, the finish is bubbling again. For the sectional, the built‑in lamp stopped working. It took two weeks and three phone calls just to get a response from service, and once someone finally came out, they took a photo and told us it would be another six weeks to order the part. We were also surprised to learn that the cushions are "no longer covered," even though the lamp is--and despite having purchased the platinum protection plan specifically to ensure the cushions would be protected. We appreciate the friendly sales experience, but the follow‑up service and product durability have been disappointing, especially given the price point.

The second you walk in this store you are landed upon by a salesperson, hoping they simply point you to the right direction in the store for the item(s) you want to see. The problem is that the sales person tends to follow you around the entire time and let's just say it sort of becomes let's make a deal (sale) - very annoying. This has happened to me in this store, more times than not. If you are OK with that, this is your place. Me, I prefer to look around and if I need something, I'll find a salesperson to engage with when I'm ready to discuss a specific item and price.

I went to this store because I had some free time and wanted to see if these beds were as great as…read morethey say. They were having a sale on the iLE model for 1/2 price which ended that day. I checked out the bed and it was comfortable. I thought it was too much money ($3100 at 1/2 price). I could not make up my mind but the clerk whose name was Laurie assured me that "it would only cost me $199 to try it if I returned it within a hundred days." I almost left, but I figured that it would be nice to try it and see if I woke up without aces and pains. I was still nervous about signing the multiple page conditions, but the clerk ensured me it would only cost me $199 if I returned it. I even wrote this fact on the contract. I decided to return the bed and they charged me the $179 to deliver the bed AND $199 to pick it up totaling $378 plus tax. I complained to customer service and they said there was nothing they could do. I asked and did speak to a supervisor and she looked into it. She said she spoke with the clerk and the clerk said she never said such a thing and there was no notation on the contract. I told them to send me a copy and sure enough it had my writing stating $199 to return. I said there is the proof, but she said it does not mention anything about the delivery charge which was true enough. I got burned for trusting their lying clerk.

I did this about four times over four days. When the time finally came to place the order the girls that helped me were awesome. I did one last walk threw the store just to make sure I had everything correct on the list and then went to dinner while they pulled everything from their stock. It was that easy for the most part. They also stored my order for the week since I wasn't moving until the next weekend. There was only a few hiccups in the order. All of which they were happy to fix. One I wasn't given my 20% off on my flatware and two I was given an extra set of Napoli plates that should have been bowls. They even offered to bring the set too me so I didn't have to go back to the store. I couldn't be happier with my experience shopping here. I've even added a few things since my original order. This has kind of become my favorite home store without me even realizing it.
