Best option around. After having a terrible experience at Maximum (lost child situation) I came here upon the recommendation of a friend. Facility: gorgeous and good layout. You can see your kid and you know what's going on at all times. Clean no rips and no issues. Teachers: I would not consider this a competitive gym or at least from what I've seen however, I don't think a single person I am aware of has had a bad experience here. My daughter did well with one teacher or at least did December. My son did not so we are in the process of switching him to another teacher. Nothing terriblely negative, just not the right personality. He needs somebody to keep an eye on him consistently and keep kiddos busy vs sitting. Events: Parents night out are great and include food. Cost: 100ish a month. Not cheap but that's pretty going as a rate. Overall: Will contine to come here. read more

We had our middle son's birthday party here recently. We did the Ninja party, and my son loved it! The staff was amazing, Taylor and Zoey were great with the kids and made sure that everything was taken care of, and the party ran smoothly! We will definitely be attending some of the classes because of how great the experience was! Highly recommend for parties, it is worth every penny! read more

I went in for a free trial for my twin girls. I liked it, the girls liked it. The only reason I didn't sign up with them is the lack of parking. It was super busy with kids everywhere. Unfortunately, I just bought a new truck and I can't pack it into those tiny parking spaces without getting it all dinged up. Wonderful experience though! read more

Our grand daughter attended for several years and learned so much at ASI. Loyalty to a program is a win/win for both gym and participants. It shows that quality programs are offered where participants grow in their skills in a safe environment where real instruction takes place. I'm so thankful that I am able to change my review. Our grand daughter is just ready to move in a different direction at this time. I agree that she has had an enjoyable journey with ASI. BEWARE! POOR, GREEDY BUSINESS PRACTICE! I am so disappointed in this company. They have a policy that you must auto-pay each month. Ok, fine. We've done this for a long time. IF THEY CHOOSE to do your auto-payment before the first of the month (which they do some months) and you cancel on the 1st, YOU WILL NOT GET A REFUND TO YOUR AUTO PAYMENT METHOD! As grandparents, we have been paying for gymnastics for a long time. Our grand daughter had decided to move on to something else and our daughter called to discontinue classes on the 1st of the month and was told the account would be credited. It was assumed that meant the credit card on file. I noticed I was charged after she canceled. I contacted the gym and was told that the GYMNASTICS ACCOUNT was credited, NOT A REFUND TO THE AUTO PAY CREDIT CARD! I asked to speak with the manager, who did return my call. She repeated the same "POLICY" and said there could be no REFUND, but there would be a "CREDIT" on the gym account forever that could be used for anything at the gym... Now I'm out the month's tuition rate OR the grand daughter must participate in some activity at the gym or be forced to buy "stuff" equivalent to the tuition rate.! read more

phenomenal experience with ASI, we celebrated my daughters 5th birthday. Taylor, Sydnie and Katie were exceptional from start to finish. From offering to help unload the car to completely decorating the birthday room to keeping the kiddos entertained. We will be using them again. Beyond impressed and thankful for all of there help! 10/10 reccomend. read more

Today we had my daughters 5th birthday at ASI! It was amazing... in her words " Best Birthday Ever!" From start to finish the coaches took care of everything from helping bring in everything from my car, to setting up, welcoming guest, keeping the kiddos entertained (they all had a blast!) keeping the party on time, serving pizza and cupcakes, to cleaning up! They were amazing! All the parents were saying this is the best party ever because it was so organized and they took care of everything! I have to say I'm so glad we had my daughters birthday here! My daughter insisted on it because she loves doing gymnastics there and because everyone is so welcoming and makes her feel so special! read more

No no no!! Warning!! Parents!! They have a Friday class for our kiddos that's supposed to be fun. I witnessed something so disturbing one evening.I was just setting outside waiting to pick up my kids! I observed my kids being shout at for about 10 minutes and then again for about 5 more! This teenage girl's body language spoke VOLUMES! I walked in and got my kids. These r kids that we r trusting, a very well known established business .I have a 24 yr old calling me totally condoning the other workers . Theres gotta be some changes!! My child WILL NOT BE BACK!! Just to add. The boys that were picking on my kid were acting gangster!! Cursing and threatening my children!not taking that crap! I'm a mother who loves her kids!!! I dont blame the owners. I blame these young young kids left in charge. Theres definitely a discrepancy in the hiring. PAY ATTENTION! read more

My daughter loves this place. She takes the homeschool gymnastics class and we send her to parents night out once a month. All the staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed and not super competitive and over the top like you see at other places. They let kids be kids and they make gymnastics fun. read more

Whether you are looking for fun for your toddler, away to get your little chubby 6 year olds away from electronics to work on fitness, or if you are looking for something for your elitel athletes to compete in a great environment with awesome coaching staff that instill values and confidence in your kids. I have had my daughter here for 5 years. My son has been coming to parents night out for 5 years and enrolled in classes for 2. As a single mother I have struggled to find strong role models for my children and worried about their well-being. ASI staff, coaches, and owners have always stepped up going above and beyond what I pay them for when it has come to my kids. At the front desk Sarah, Alicia, Hannah, and Shannon are amazing, knowledgeable, and are truly gifted at dealing with parents, who lets face it we can all be a pill when it involves our kids, our schedules, and our money....The coaches I dont even know where to begin, the confidence, the love, the support, the passion and the encouragement they give both of my children is hands down the most amazing priceless gift!! My daughter is on team and the skills, hard work, encouragement, tough love that Kaitlyn and Gretchen deal out to her is AHHHHMAAAZZING!!! Coach Kallie has my son in boys silver, the girl is beyond gifted. The owners Debbie and David are beautiful strong christians whose faith is apparent in their work and they try desperately to always put every child first and please each and every family. If you ever have a doubt if they care about their staff and the kids here, just look at all they did when we lost our beloved "Coach Mike". If you are looking for a place for a great birthday party place, strength training, skill building, gymnastics training, confidence building, fun for all age groups, where your children will receive one on one instruction in a team setting this is the place to go. My son has intermittently attended classes for the past 3 years. We like that ASI is not designed for the Olympic level. There is no forced regimen 100% of the time but instructors maintain structure. This makes it less stressful for kids. My son actually wants to attend classes. If a few students needs additional help in one area, the instructor will change things up for that class. If you are looking for a stricter gym regimen dedicated solely dedicated to Olympic level skills, I would recommend private classes. The summer camps are also great. read more

After faithfully attending ASI Gymnastics in The Woodlands Texas for 2 years, we pulled our 5 year old because their lack of customer service and appreciation. On 2 separate occasions, we have listed our 5 year old for a "wait list" to get into certain classes. When the opportunity comes available, ASI emails you, notifying you of the opening. You then only have 24 HOURS to CALL and accept the spot. If you do not CALL in exactly 24 hours, they give the spot to the next person in line. In this last instance, we were first on the waitlist. On Thursday, I was at the gym for my 5 year olds noon class, and I went to the desk to inquire about the wait list. The receptionist said, "yes you are next on the list". great! well, 18 hours later (9am), i get an email, stating that the slot was open. I called to reserve the spot. well guess what....they gave the spot away! They girl on the phone stated that they emailed me at 1am on Thursday, and now its 1 pm Friday, and its been more than 24 hours, so they gave the spot away. I explained to her that I was at the desk literally 11 hours after the email ( noon on Thursday) and they didn't mention the opening, so when I checked my email on Friday, I called as soon as I could. I also told her that my wife and I don't check our emails on a daily basis, and ASI should not rely on emails to notify, confirm, or deny such important information. The attendant, stated that they don't have the staff to call "all the people on the wait list" (not my problem), and " i don't know who you spoke to yesterday, but they didn't do their job correctly." ( And how do i know it wasn't you that I spoke to yesterday!). I pleaded my case, we have been with ASI for 2 years, and I called in reply to the email in a timely manner. they didn't budge. So we are pulling out of ASI, and going down the street to a more "professional" gymnastics. ASI seems to be more geared as "playtime", though they do have a "team", their level of gymnastics are not on the level of other gyms in the area, which are more collegiate and olympic styled. If your kid needs to just run around and burn energy, and you are attached to your email 24 a day, then ASI is for you. If you expect more realistic gymnastics, structure, instruction, and customer service, go down the street. read more

My grandson enjoys the class and we do like the coaches' enthusiasm. What upset me was that we had signed up for a Birthday party which we were really excited about. I understand that on the paperwork it states you can not have a refund on birthday parties. There's a very good possibility that my son-in-law is going to have to have heart surgery. We called to cancel and get a credit on my credit card because we have to save up for the surgery. My daughter said that ASI would not refund and so she accepted that we would have a credit for other classes. We have a credit on our account. I think in special circumstances most reputable companies do take into excusable causes. read more

We enrolled our son two months ago and he loves coming! I love all the instructors, especially Coach Michella & coach Caitlyn have been his two coaches. He is having fun, learning to follow directions well, and enjoys himself! He's not 3 just yet and activities for 3 and under are hard to come by! read more

This was my second time having my daughter's birthday party at this location and my second time walking away very happy! I felt taken care of from the beginning to the end. All of the guests were greeted at the door with a big hello, request for sign in by parents, and directions to the kids for where to put their shoes and socks. Games while waiting for the rest of the guests. Coach Kayla and Jordan were so hands on and the kids loved them! Not a sad face in site. The kids got to go all over the gym (as directed by the Coaches of course - don't want a free for all which could cause injury for those untrained gymnasts): trampoline, balance beam, games on the mats, tumbling tramp, rope swing, and foam pit. Big production for my daughter to wish her a happy birthday and then off to the party room. Hand sanitizer offered all around. The Coaches handled delivery of the food and drinks, candles and singing with the cake, and then serving it up. I love that I didn't have to worry about anything. You have the option of opening gifts at ASI or taking them home but of course my daughter wanted to open them in front of all her friends. Coach Jordon sat on one side of my daughter and cleaned up the paper/organized the presents as my daughter ripped them open, while Coach Kayla sat on the other side taking copious notes of names and gifts given. They made sure to thank all of the parents and announce an upcoming Parents Night Out for anyone interested. Gift bags were provided to each guest as they left and boy did they leave happy! What a wonderful experience. We will certainly return. read more

Our 5 year old was placed in a class with 2 other 4-5 year olds and a 10 year old. Results .... the 10 year old kid bullied the younger kids! (Grabbed younger kids hair, pushed kids, tried tripping them. Parents didn't care as they sat on the benches looking at their phones/ texting). The coach did not do anything. I had to stop the class immediately to call out that kid's behavior. When I spoke to the management, they said kids are placed in groups based on skill level and not be age. That's the most ridiculous rule because they wouldn't put my 3 and 5 year olds together. The place is chaotic - classes walk around the gym areas like they don't have space. Coaches don't look happy working there. Classes run for an hour but it seems like the stretching parts take up half an hr. Kids don't seem to be having fun either. read more

My daughter (8) has been in gymnastics for several years and at multiple gyms. ASI is great! She has learned so much and even made it on to the Level 1 team. Her coaches are amazing and encourage her to set higher goals for herself. We love going to competition and watching the team cheer each other on. This is a great place, not only to gain gymnastics skills, but to learn teamwork and the responsibility of being on a team. read more

We've been coming to ASI for four years and have enjoyed it ever since. I currently have my two daughters enrolled in gymnastics class as well as the after school program. The classes are just right for the age/ difficulty level. I'm not looking for my girls to be the next Olympic medalist so I don't need super intense one-on-one training. The girls enjoy working with the other kids in their classes and learn from each other. There are occasions where I'd like to see a little more instruction and hands-on help from the coaches but with 4-5 other kids in the class, they do the best they can. I've not noticed a lot of 'standing around' as mentioned in another review. The classes are circuit based so if the kids are standing around, it's their own fault. As for the After school program, we have been really pleased with it so far. I love that ASI picks them up from school and brings them to the gym, they have time to work on homework and can get help from the coaches, and then still have time to play with their friends. ASI in The Woodlands has been great for what we need - the programs are just right and the staff has always been very courteous and professional. read more

What a waste of $87. Purchased a Groupon for 8 classes for my toddler. Instructors are horrible and the classes are ill planned. Kids stand around and the last 20 is allotted to jumping into the foam pit. It's a 45 mins lesson... The kids are so bored they start doing their own thing, and parents can't blame them so they assist them in their independent play so that they don't hurt themselves. You might as well take them to a park and do the same thing. It's ridiculously bad! And if you look around, you'll see the older kids jumping around with no clear direction either. Don't waste your money!! read more

Totally dissatisfied with the management and professionalism at ASI. Maybe ok for a "daycare" center, but I would recommend doing your research before considering this establishment to train your child properly for any advanced gymnastics. read more

I am very disappointed with this place. I called to cancel a camp session and I cannot get my money back, cannot reuse it for another day. Their excuse is that they call the coaches and pay for their trip and I am supposed to cancel one day in advance. I had no intention to cancel for today. I just have an inconvenience at home that does not allow me to leave. It is not an emergency, but I cannot leave the house right now. I just thought I could reschedule but they just do not do it. The lady told me that they call the coaches to come a take care of my kid, but my kid is not the only one who is at the camp. It just does not make any sense at all. They stole my money. read more
