My wife and I try to go about every other week. Getting ready to go again today. Yes you pay in advance, I have found most places do that, kinda like getting fuel. The last deep tissue I received was amazing, don't get me wrong the ones before it were great too, but this particular young lady was using he elbows feet and knees to really work the back. My bad shoulder she took extra attention too as well, I always bring cash to tip, really who wouldn't rather have cash. And to avoid the credit card run fee, which all businesses charges you for one way or another , I'll pay in cash. But so far the best thing is I can call them and will be able to get a massage within the hour, instead of trying to make an appointment for days or weeks away, which never works with my schedule. read more

I recently booked the Spa Package (90 minutes), and overall I had a very positive experience. The front of the business is fairly simple, but once you're taken to the back, the atmosphere becomes much more relaxing. The room was quiet, comfortable, and set the right mood to unwind. I'll be honest--when the massage first started, I wasn't sure what to expect. The therapist began with a lot of muscle and joint movement, and I was thinking, "I really hope this isn't the whole massage." Thankfully, after a little while she got to work, and wow--she absolutely delivered. She found areas of tension I didn't even realize I had and put in some serious effort. By the end, I felt significantly better than when I walked in. Easily one of the better massages I've had. I wish I had caught her name so I could specifically request her next time. The reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 has more to do with communication and accommodations than the massage itself. There was a bit of a language barrier, and I wasn't really given any instructions when I got into the room. As someone who has had massages before, I figured it out, but if this had been my very first massage, I probably would have been standing there wondering what I was supposed to do. A simple sign on the back of the door with instructions like, "Undress to your comfort level, lie face down on the table, and cover yourself with the sheet" would go a long way for first-time clients. The other issue was the table size. I'm 6'4", and the tables don't seem to be designed for someone my height. It wasn't a deal-breaker, but taller clients may find them a little small. Overall, the quality of the massage itself was excellent and is the main reason I'll be back. With a little improvement in communication and accommodations for larger clients, this would easily be a 5-star experience for me. I'll definitely be giving them another shot soon. read more

I recently received a 90 min deep tissue massage from Yan. She was very professional. My shoulders, upper back, and lower legs were tight. She was able to identify and workout all the knots and all the tight areas, without me specifying them. After I left, I was no longer tight, i felt loose, i felt good. I was not exhausted nor in pain. I have had massages from others over the years. I have been to Yan before. She has always been consistantly great. I went home thinking today, when compared to other massages over the years. When it comes to messages, Yan is the Greatest Of All Time in my mind and experiences. I called ahead to verify that the massage parlor had an opening for a 30 minute walk in massage. I was seen immediately. Positive notes first: 1) parking availability was great, it is located in a strip mall. 2) I was quickly greeted and assigned a room. 3) The massage was very good. I requested very heavy pressure and the young lady was certainly able to accommodate it. The hot towel at the end was a nice touch. There were a few things that were rather off-putting: 1) there are peepholes on the front of every massage room door, like there would be on a homes front door. The peepholes peer into the massage room which made me uncomfortable that someone could be looking in. 2) the walls do not meet the ceiling which makes it very easy to hear what is going on in other massage rooms around you. During my massage I could hear what sounded like snoring/taking a nap. 3) the website nor phone call I made indicated that there would be a difference in price if you paid by card vs cash. My massage was quoted at $30 by phone and after speaking with the manager I was told I would have to pay $40 since I did not have cash...this was never discussed. 4) the pamphlet they hand out could really use some work, lots of misspellings. The privacy concern and the pricing discussion were rather off putting, I am undetermined if I will return. read more

OMG.. I don't even know where to begin honestly. I slept really wonky Thurs night and come Fri morning, I was in so much pain, I was in tears at work. I searched around yelp for some places and stumbled across this gem. It is really a diamond in the rough. You wouldn't even see it if not driving by. So I read all of the reviews and decided to call and see if they had any appts. The young lady who answered the phone was very nice and I was extremely happy with the price of an hour massage. But at the same time, why is it so cheap.. Had me thinking.. But I made an appt anyways.. They had plenty and also take walk-ins. I get there and was immediately greeted by Sherry. She got my room ready and off I went. I may have waited 5 mins, if that. Once in I changed and got situated, Sherry came back in and began to work on me. YALL!!! OMG... This woman is magical. She hit tight spots that have been knotted up since the Womb of 1984.. I mean, she really worked every bit of the specific places I needed and found places I didn't even know could be worked out. I unfortunately have this small hump on my upper back and she was shocked with how tight and knotted I was. When this woman worked in to them and I felt instant relief, I was no longer crying in pain but crying because after 35 years of beating myself up with sports, lifting, being fat, etc, she helped me. I will most definetly be going back to Sherry and getting a massage again. This is such a great place to go and they are not overbearing. They do not push you to add anything on. If you're looking for a great deep massage at a good price then this is the place. Although they've been open for a couple of years we didn't come across this place until we needed massages and couldn't find a place open or that wasn't fully booked on a short notice. Score!!! Ambiance: Admittedly it's not as fancy as the typical women's spa my wife usually attends but its very comfortable. More than enough to enjoy throughly relaxing private massage. My only complaint would be the walls to individual rooms don't go the ceiling. They stop approximately 12 to 18 inches from the ceiling. It's was obvious the heating and cooling wasn't designed for the buildings current layout. That said, the music being piped throughout and soft voices of the massage therapists keeps any sounds from adjacent rooms from sneaking in. Skill: These ladies aren't some massage school graduate trying to establish for their own clientele...they rock! That makes a difference to me because it seems every time I find a great therapist at a chain l'm currently a member of they take off a few months later to start their own practice miles away. What's really surprising is the strength these therapists have. They might be small in stature but for someone who enjoys deep tissue massage these women are among the best at deep tissue I've had in recent years. If you're not into firm or deep tissue no worries, I'm sure they've got the lighter massage down too. One of things I enjoyed was their use of pressure points, and the attention they give to the feet, hands and scalp. Something that's usually neglected by other places I've been to. Value: If you're like me and wonder why you might pay for an hour massage that only lasts a little over 45min then you'll appreciate the full hour (and then some) of attention you get here. Overall: If the therapy room walls went to ceiling, waiting area was private and offered tea and other foo foo things like that I'd give this place 5 stars but for now I'll rejoice in finding a great deep tissue and asian therapy massage at a great price...so yes, I'm a fan! read more

I called them and asked if they had an opening for an hour couple massage for the next day. To my surprise, they did. I made reservations for 7pm on a Friday night. We were actually almost an hour late for our reservations but they all were very nice and understanding anyway. Unfortunately, they had to give our "couples" room away and so we had to have separate rooms. The lady who did my massage was wonderful. The bed was super comfortable and the room was nice and warm. First, I've never paid for my massage beforehand... I thought that it was odd that I should have to pay BEFORE I received a service. Second, they charge you a fee to run your card and even though it was $3, I would've at least like to have been told about the fee. The massage was good, but then I was asked to give a tip RIGHT AFTER she politely hands me a cup of water. Like seriously!? My tips are based on how well you provide said service, but seeing as you made me pay before I received the service, I did not feel comfortable giving a tip beforehand. Oh, but who carries cash nowadays??... Anyways, they clearly have a sign that states, "Tips are not expected but appreciated." Well I didn't have cash and they had already run my card but she certainly had the audacity to ask for her tip!! So I asked if they could run my card yet again for HER tip? And yet again, I was charged another fee!! If you had been patient, instead of being greedy and taking my money BEFOREHAND, then I could've have tipped you properly at the end of the service/transaction! But no instead I got charged twice in fees! I will not be back based off this encounter alone. I will take my $120 to massage envy! read more

This is so unfortunate. We get our massage here monthly and today I had the worst and painful massage from them. The lady who did my massage was young. She was giving pressure on the wrong spot, she messed up my neck which is quite dangerous. It almost feels like she wants to remove my carotid artery and veins in my neck. At the end of the massage my neck feels so bad I probably will go to Patient First. I told her my neck is a little sensitive today cause I didn't want her to feel bad but she continue to do so. I wish she would use the same pressure for my whole body. I paid for a deep tissue (the usual I get for them) but it felt like she only did swedish. Plus the massage kept getting interrupted. When I told her if she can add a little pressure, she told me I ask for moderate pressure - mind you she ask me about the pressure when she was choking the back of my neck of course I would ask for less pressure. I think she knows what she is doing and she is doing it on purpose. I might not go back here despite months of loyalty to this spa. read more

I wanted to go to a professional place ( I used to go to a massage school with my mom for cheaper prices) so this was the best place I picked because it was close and it had mostly good reviews. Was it how I expected it to be? No, but it wasn't the same in a bad way because I wasn't familiar with how the women massage their compared to where I would usually go to. I was just surprised by the approach my masseuse used. While I wish they wouls have massaged my feet more instead of just pounding on my feet like how some do at nail salons, I was still happy they focused on my back which was the biggest issue for me lol. I also was scared of the hot stone at first but it felt way better than I thought it would feel. My back felt so tight that it didn't bother me with how hard they would press which is why my upper back feels bruised but thar was my mistake, not theirs. They also were nice to me and weren't just going through the motions when interacting with me which made the session feel more welcoming if that makes sense. Had a couples massage with my wife. This was our first visit. The staff was very friendly, and we received one of the best massages we have ever had! Very reasonable price as well. We have another booked for Mother's Day weekend. Update: My wife and I love this place so much that we have become regulars. I have a bad back from vehicle accidents and surgeries. I go every week to keep the knots out. My wife goes with me about every 2 weeks for a couples massage. I have had a massage from all 3 of these ladies, Dora, Ming and Sherry, and they are all great! We have had massages all over the country, on cruise ships, and in foreign ports, but these ladies are the best! Make an appointment in advance if possible. P.S. I made an appointment and went in . I had been there before 3 years ago or so and liked it . They offer body scrub and shower and liked it in the past . Today the massage was fine but when it came to the body scrub it was horrible. The girl was washing as fast as anyone could and did not understand English. excellent massage.. was a bit weirded out about having to pay cash upfront while another customer was offered to pay by card once their massage was complete. most massage spots i go to allow me to pay at the end. i addressed this with the persyn who gave me a massage, i also gave a tip. i just left a really bad taste in my mouth after a really well needed massage. i know it's covid and there are certain social distancing and safety measures to be mindful of, but their policies around payment should be transparent and universal. it felt a bit discriminatory. i'm still a fan, they just need to tighten up around receiving guest from different backgrounds they might not be accustomed to. read more

She always made sure I was comfortable and that the pressure was okay during my deep tissue massage. I've had massages from other places before where I left feeling unsatisfied but she literally got every knot out that was bothering me. I left feeling rejuvenated like a brand new person. We enjoy couples massages and have had several at different spas around the area. This by far has been the most amazing and enjoyable experiences we have had, outside of the cruise ship. We have done 3 couples massages, including hot stone, body scrub and swedish. They have all been amazing. The staff is exceptional. The pricing is very good. I agree that the walls not going all the way up can be a little bit of a draw back, but that's more for other people who don't know how to talk quietly and take away from the enjoying & relaxing experience of the massage. Best massage for the price. Came here with some upper back pain issues and they were able to see me on a walk in. The place was very clean and the staff were very professional. Here they speak very good English take care to understand your needs. I really enjoyed the light ambiance, cheap prices and speedy service most of all. I would recommend calling ahead for an appointment for best results but they seem to be very flexible if you don't. Probably the best place for an authentic eastern massage.
