My husband and I decided to get a couple massage and this place was the only place available to book with short notice. We paid using card- and was charged a $5 fee. They do offer a military discount -but with the card fee it was an even wash. They requested for us to pay for the massage before being seen by a therapist .... ** Parking warning** When we arrived we couldn't see where to park and we parked next to the spa and a rude man came out from "SER accounting service" told us we couldn't park there we have to park in the SPA section- they have there own parking. If we left our car there it would be towed. Once we went inside the building - the way to walk in - the ramp seemed like I was going to fall through. Lady that greeted us wasn't aware we had Max an over the phone appointment and they rushed to get everything together. During the massage it kept getting interrupted because they didn't have someone else to help upfront so my lady kept stepped out. I would most definitely NOT return here.

    My booking confirmation.

Very unprofessional, had an appointment for two at 11:00am. Showed up promptly @ 11, and was told there's only one masseuse. This is the second time it has happened. We will not be back for any future services.

This is where I go when I need a little rest and relaxation, and with the pandemic they are sure to continue to keep everyone safe by cleaning up and staying masked. Their rates are affordable and they do a great job. Spotting the establishment may be confusing at first because it's a little house by a business park, but once inside it's cozy and zen. They offer multiple services, but I always opt for a good massage. The staff is professional and attentive to your needs. If you want some love and care, this is a place to check out.

I am so surprised to see so many 4 + Stars because it was the worst experience of my life. I called 5 minutes late because there was a car that stalled and they told me to come right ahead and it would be fine and then they told me I would have to wait 40 minutes so I requested to see the policy on being tardy and of course they couldn't provide that so they went on and took me. Second, the lady who told me to undress left and closed the door and knocked once I was under the sheets, and your head is practically buried in the pillow so you can't really see what's going on around you but I heard men walking by I and then slowly walking by my room which I felt really awkward about so I just happened to look up and my door is open and I'm EXPOSED! When I call them out about it they said it was my job to get up and close the door. This is so ridiculous and I beg anyone who values self respect and wants to go somewhere to be comfortable and relax, do not step foot in a place where they do not value your comfortability. Here is the audio of when I told them that I was leaving early because there was no way that I was staying there after all of that happened and what's sad is that I got a fake apology with a laugh behind it. This is the audio of what transpired once I told them I was cutting it short and leaving. This was suppose to be a relaxing day after my parents watching my 9mo old and yes, they were paid in advance so money thrown out the window, that I DIDN'T HAVE TO WASTE! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CVWK1TJ3T9U&feature=share

Neither was addressed and pressure was light-medium at best. Arms and legs got a lot of attention but my arms and legs did not need attention. Somewhat relaxing for what it was but not what I asked for or feel like I paid for. Therapist also stopped a few times as if distracted. I almost asked if she was ok, then she came back to life and kept going. It was odd. Is that some energy healing modality? Products for sale were very scented, which I am sensitive to but massage used scent free products. Thank you. I'd try another service or different therapist with a specific therapeutic deep tissue or Thai massage focus. Maybe book more days in advance. The space is fantastic.

I regularly get deep tissue massages & was excited to get one for my birthday. The inside of this establishment looks much better than the outside. It is warm, welcoming, calming & clean just like a spa. They opened at 9am, my appt was scheduled for 9:15am. I was asked to choose my essential oil for my appt, then guided to sit in the waiting area. There are a set of mugs & the option to choose water or tea while I waited. Their restroom is beautiful & clean! Definitely gives spa vibes. My therapist walked into the building at 9:15am, which was inconvenient. She called me into my designated room, introduced herself by telling me her name then asked the standard questions (What is the goal of your appt today? What areas are we focusing on? Are there any areas to avoid? etc.) To be completely honest, She seemed a bit disengaged & I didn't really feel welcomed so I was a bit worried about how my session would go. Next, she stepped out the room to give me time to undress then came back a few minutes later. She started off very gentle in the beginning similar to a Swedish massage. After a few minutes passed she asked if the pressure was ok. Since I booked a deep tissue, I asked her to go deeper, she said ok but the pressure remained the same. I asked her again to go deeper, she said ok again and applied slightly more pressure. Again, I kindly told her to go even deeper. She said ok and more pressure was applied. I felt like I was bothering her/asking too much, so I didn't bother to ask her again to go deeper. I just wanted to get the service that I was paying for especially because it was my birthday so I was trying to have a relaxing day. After my session was finished, she stepped out & I was given time to get dressed. She met me outside of the door and gave me a cup of water. She then went over an after care plan that was basically suggestions to drink plenty of water & advice on how to loosen up my tight muscles by stretching. Overall it was a decent massage but I didn't appreciate the late arrival to my appt & the deep tissue experience.

Cryotherapy is a pain treatment that uses a method of localized freezing temperatures to relieve irritated nerves and sooth sore muscles. It can also be used in cancer patients and in dermatology. Step in the tank and be prepared for nitrogen or in some cases argon gas to be turned on. Temperature can vary depending on height and body weight. My son had a freezing temp of negative 160° Fahrenheit. The machine has a range of around negative 150-200. Appointments are recommended and the treatment takes only minutes. They offer the largest menu of services in the area including IV, compression and anti aging LED therapy. Cyro prices range from $15 to $30 in the Hampton Roads area. The student price was $19. I was specifically intrigued by their beer baths, and after researching the benefits, I decided to try one. I initially attempted to book online, but while the site mentioned a 50% deposit, it required 100% payment upfront, so I called to finalize the reservation. I used a 20% discount since it was my first-time booking. I decided to schedule the Brewing Calm Immersion, my session included 20 minutes in the sauna, a 60-minute massage, and a 60-minute soak. When I arrived, the owner greeted me and showed me my bath soak options: Hops Brew, Barley Blend, or Chai soak. I decided to try the hops brew which was a blend of hops, brewers yeast, malt, oats and Epsom salt. I also chose Eucalyptus, my favorite aromatherapy, for the diffuser used during my bath. After that I selected my drink from a selection of beer, wine and non-alcoholic options, which was also served during my bath. After making all my selections, I was escorted to a private room where, I changed into the robe and slippers they provided. They also provide access to Lockers with keys for you to secure your valuables.   My Experience  Sauna- Before entering they gave me a cup of ice water. I love the fact that I had the ability to adjust the temperature and lighting. However I wished there was some music in the background because sitting in silence for 20 minutes felt very long. Massage- I found the massage relaxing; however, the Pressure was hit or miss and I also feel like certain areas were neglected like my feet and head. Beer bath/soak - My favorite part of the day.  They pre-steeped the brew so the ingredients were already activated. I was originally concerned that the bath water wasn't going to be warm enough but I had 100% control of the temperature. When you enter the room they already have music playing and I had the ability to change the genre if I wanted. They also provide you with 2 large ice cube for you to massage your face and cool you down if you get too hot. After they get you all set up they dim the lights which was the final step in setting the relaxing mood. The Soaking tub was huge and I was just sinking into it. Loved, loved, loved it! Overall I truly enjoyed my time spent & experience at Pint and Peace. I would absolutely recommend stopping in for a day of pampering and I am looking forward to returning for another soak. We did the sauna treatment, 60 minute massage, and bath and it was AMAZING! When we arrived, we got to choose our bath treatment - there were 3 options. Since I've never had a beer bath, that was what I chose. We also got the option of tea, wine, beer, or water for our bath. We also got to choose an essential oil for the diffuser during our bath. After making our choices, we changed into robes and went into the sauna. From there, we got 60 minute massages, and mine was AMAZING! I asked for firm pressure, and that's exactly what I got! After our massages, it was bath time. It was really neat because the treatment is actually in a bag that you put into the tub. It isn't beer but the dry ingredients that go into beer I'm guessing. I loved that they cut off the big lights and there's the option of a small switch light. There is also meditation music and the diffuser that adds to the relaxation. They also give you 2 big ice cubes to use on your face, neck, or just to simply cool the water if needed. I used on my face, and it felt SO good. I like that we had our baths in separate rooms but were able to move the sliding divider in the wall if we wanted so that we could still talk to each other! This was a 2 hour experience and I would definitely do it again. It was the perfect way to relax with a friend or take some time to yourself for a little self care!

Also the paint and decor made everything feel so inviting. I received the Standard Plus facial from Kailey back on July 3. It. was. everything. Kailey knows her stuff. Once I had changed and Kailey adjusted my headband I received a brief aromatherapy treatment. I've gotten plenty of facials before but this was the first time any aesthetician has ever done that. She placed the oil on her wrists and had me breathe deeply in and out before starting my service. It was the perfect touch because if you're like me, you're probably rushing to your appointments. My facial was amazing. This was my first service with Kailey but it won't be my last. She examined my skin before she began. I loved the fact that she answered all my questions and even gave my suggestions for different services to look into during the winter months. Extractions are always a love-hate experience for me but all of the congestion from my face was removed and my skin was so soft when I left. During the facial Kailey and I chatted about other treatments that would be great for my skin, how often I should be receiving facials, and my at-home routine. I'd also like to add that Kailey is a product wiz! When we were quarantined she helped me revamp my entire skin routine. I think we all dealt with maskne but I also believe my diet and stress caused my skin to go into panic or something. Kailey and I texted and talked over the phone about my skin and its needs. My whole regimen got a much-needed facelift and my skin is doing so much better. Anytime she recommends something for me (and no she doesn't sell products so no gimmicks there) I get it! Since then I have had minimal (and I mean minimal) breakouts and the texture of my skin has improved drastically. We're currently working on tone and hyperpigmentation and I'm excited to see those results. I'll be returning for another facial with Kailey at Get Well Soon the next time I'm back home. Check her out, your skin will thank you!

I did the "relaxed" massage with the Himalayan Stone upgrade. You would think that the Himalayan stones would be similar to a hot stone massage where they put them on your back. It was not. Upon entering the massage room, the masseuse takes the time to ask if there are any places to avoid or focus on. My masseuse was Stephanie. After getting onto the massage table, I can feel that there was warmth, which was relaxing, but not overwhelming. The massage table what state of the art. It was very comfortable, and the masseuse just the table to have a bend in the knees, and different positions instead of just laying down. Stephen applied the perfect amount of pressure during my massage. Back to the Himalayan stones- the warm stones she used in her hands which had salt on them, which she rubbed over the different areas of the body during the massage. Stephanie flawlessly transitioned from not having these stones in her hands to the stones not being in her hands. I definitely recommend getting spa services here.
