The…read moreparking lot is located behind the building and there's also a back door entrance, looks like most people were going in that way. Walking in, it smelled like Christmas, I loved it! I think what we smelled was the Emerald Tea room, there was a bunch of ladies in there sitting around a table. I'd love to come back just to visit that, it smelled amazing! As you're walking around the store, you'll notice that there are lots of cute booths set up with all kinds of random affordable items in each section. There's all kinds of different types of things in the store from jewelry, household decorations, seasonal items, pictures, kitchenware, clothing, pet items, ect all kinds of different inventory! The store is huge by the way it just keeps on going. The cash register is near the front of the building but somewhat in the middle of the store. Tammy, the owner was working the cash register today. I tried to make small talk with her. I know a couple of ladies that have booth rentals here so it was finally nice to go in and check it out. I did buy a couple of items, including a "thankful" cheese platter, little red mushrooms, and a wooden soap dish. Overall, it's a really cute store and I just might have to go back and visit again next month.

The last time we were there, my twins found a super cute tea cart set in the toy area for $7, practically new with all the pieces. I also found a couple of good Scooby Doo DVDs for $1 a piece and they looked like they'd never been played. I rated it down one star because they are not trying to combat that thrift store smell at all. It's pretty rank in there.

These type of stores are notorious for that, waiting for the right buyer mentality, both endearing and slightly insane. Is there anything I personally wanted here? Not at all. Even for free? Still a no from me. Where others in my group tempted? Oh yes! The funny socks, big game fish scene, and a fashionable classic lounge chair all got attention. I understand the appeal and can easily recommend driving over from downtown Peoria to check out this junk church.

It's not a bargain if people have to wait in line for fifteen minutes for the same one person that FOUR members of staff cannot help. And again, to make matters worst, NO ONE IN STAFF IS DIRECTING TRAFFIC AND LETTING CUSTOMERS KNOW WHETHER ANYONE ELSE IS COMING TO HELP.

This included a total rebuild of rather intricate interspring, multilayered fabric cover seats. Not a simple task, we had approached others and been advised to abandon the original interspring design... it was too difficult... that was not going to happen. We contacted Dave, he did a complete rebuild of the seats maintaining the integrity of the original design. It was a difficult rebuild, think Dave would have liked to have charged more but kept the cost at his original quote. We're very satisfied, will use Dave in the future and highly recommend him to others.
