I unfortunately did not get to see Dr Aslam so this review is more regarding my first time visiting the office. I left work and drove 30 minutes to my appointment. I waited for more than 45 minutes and wasn't seen. I had gone on my lunch break so I ended up having to leave. The lady at the front told me next time not to make appointments on Friday because they're busy ? I try to be reasonable and understanding but this was frustrating and upsetting and a waste of gas. read more

I started using Dr. Aslam when I was in need of a new primary, and I could not be more pleased. Let's start with her front office... everyone is kind, courteous, and always remember me. They also call with annual reminders and follow ups. Her office is also tidy, and wait times are minimal. Dr. Aslam is very thorough. She took her time a listened to every one of my concerns. She referred me off to the proper specialist and addressed all of issues. That's what I expect from a primary. Dr. Aslam also asks me about any of my previous concerns in my follow up appointments and make sure that everything has been addressed. read more

I recently moved back to the area and needed a new PCP. I found Dr. Aslam through my insurance provider list and gave her a shot despite some mixed reviews. I've found Dr. Aslam and all the Western Mountain Medical to be kind, thoughtful, and caring. Dr. Aslam and Darlene are both great listeners and want to make sure you get the best care possible. They don't just throw a prescription at you like some providers do. Amy at the front is amazing and does a great job balancing nurse duties and reception duties. Debbie in billing is in Arizona but we've spoken on the phone a few times to sort our insurance things. Each time we've spoken she's been interesting in solving problems, plus she's hilarious. The office is clean, new, and parking is plenty. I highly recommend Dr. Aslam to anyone looking for a PCP! read more

sense I have only been with this Doctor for a short time. I must say she is very compassionate and thrower but unfortunately the way they run Office is a crime. The charged me $35.00 for faxing paper work and .25 for my medical records. Now I have to find another Doctor, this sucks because I liked her. read more

Dr.Nabila Aslam has been my primary care doctor for 9 years or more. She is knowledgeable in many areas of her practice especially when it comes to my insurance and getting prior authorizations ap. I always put my faith and trust in her. As for now things have changed and not in a good way. She also does not agree with any patients taking pain medication as she told me in her country they do not need/nor take them. I feel like she has put my health care into "one" bunch of patients and we should all be treated as individuals. On my last visit she had the nerve to bring a very young girl into the exam room with her and I asked why is she in here ? Dr Aslam response was ; I'm getting old and she is going to input information into the computer for me ... mind you she NEVER asked if I minded that she was in the exam room with us NOR did she introduce her. I hadn't seen Dr. Aslam for 5 months and she asks me how I was getting my normal refills on my medication and I told her through her office , she looked at me and said NO your seeing another doctor. I was about in tears as I could not believe how she just implied that . Well I guess after she looked further she seen yes I was right but never apologized. She embarrassed and humiliated me to the point I will not be returning to her office. She is a BULLY Doctor think she knows everything and treats all patients as one. Her attitude is your wrong and she's always right. I have now been with a different primary care doctor for over (3) years now as I reside in a different part of Arizona. I will tell you this ; The Best and Brightest Doctors Do Not live nor practice in BullHead City Arizona. That's the only place (town) they have enough knowledge to work in as they would NEVER make it in an upscale area. No patient would put up with the nonsense that comes out of their mouths. The doctors in this area are well aware that they can practice without being questioned due to the fact that this community does not have the smartest people residing here and they can say and do anything and the patient believes them. Just be careful with this RUDE lady ; Dr Nabila Aslam Don't dare ask her for anything that may help you with problems in your life that requires Any kind of Control Substance as she is scared to use what little knowledge she does have to prescribe. If I could have given a negative score I would. Worst experience of my life! I got dr Nabila Aslam off of zodoc.com to have a routine pap smear. Yes she is an internist but also listed to do pap smears. I had my approved referral in hand and at time of making appt. My appt was at 2pm. I was on time. Weight blood pressure and med history taken promptly. Then sit in room waiting til 3:15 pm only to have Dr Aslam tell me she Does Not do pap smears on 1st new patients...must get to know me first...discuss med history ...I have a primary care physician. ..so no need for that and certainly not to have another appt to come back for my pap smear! That's what the appt was made for and the approve referral was specific. She was not friendly...when asked if I could have a pillow. ..she said they did not have one and she grabbed a box of gloves and started to put it under MY head...no No NO! Then she was rough putting in the speculum. ..twisting and shoving and twisting again excessively. ..quite painful! No regard as to how I felt! She was forceful letting me know she didn't get paid enough to do my pap smear only. That she was a whole package primary care physician and then services. She asked stupid questions with attitude tone...do you want us to test for stds or just a pap smear? No labs just pap smear Then upon checking out. ..she wanted me to set up another appt in 2 weeks for a post pap exam. Then another if heaven forbid pap shows any abnormalities. I went to see the doctor for referrals. They give me two that I needed. I called the referrals to make the appointment and one only has mid afternoon appointment three days a week and the other only does online appointments. These both didn't work for me, so I called the doctor Aslam office back to get a different referral and they tell me I have to come back and see the doctor again to get another referral. Trying to get the doctor's office is another problem. They NEVER answer the phone even if you have the local number! You have to call an outside office in AZ to answer. TERRIBLE office girls, I would never go back. I should have look at the reviews and never went in the first place. read more

I've been going to Dr Aslam for almost a year now and she's one of the best doctors I've ever had. She listens to all my medical issues and cares about my wellbeing. She rejoices with me when we're able to fix a health issue that I previously came in with. I don't like taking a lot of medicine and she's all for doing natural treatments first and I appreciate that. She's very knowledgeable and helps me understand my medical issues and creates a plan to make me healthier. She's always on my team and wants me to best in the best health. Found Dr. Aslam to replace my last doctor. I specifically made an appt. to see her & not her PA assistant. When I got there I was told the doctor was in AZ. I didn't care for the assistant & they should have told me when they confirmed the appt. she wasn't going to be there. Then I made an appt. to speak to the doctor over the phone. Her assist. who I didn't like calls me. I said I want to speak to the doctor. Well after an 1 1/2 hrs. the doctor decided to call me & she had an attitude towards me that I didn't talk to her assist. Tells me she is fasting & can't drive back to NV. This is NOT the kind of doctor I want to handle my health issues. Very disappointed as they were both friendly in the beginning. read more

My husband and I went to Dr. Nabila Aslam because our insurance required a preferred provider. After going to her for awhile, we realized she was a "triage" doctor. She sent us to many specialists in the area but rarely treated us in her office. When she did treat us, the specialist often stopped what she was doing to change the meds that either weren't working or doing harm. My husband needed hospitalization due to her care. Another time, a medication she was giving him caused pancreatitis that another doctor discovered. We continued going to her office because she hired many good physician assistants. But, they often left after a short time working for her. The current PA assigned to us was not our choice. She was moody and argumentative. Once, she arrived in the office with a coffee in hand about 15 minutes after my appointment time. And I was the first patient! In addition to these personal issues, her clerical staff could never get our insurance filed correctly. We spent hours on the phone working with our insurance representative and the office staff attempting to resolve problems. If we wanted to discuss our care plan with the PA, she would become agitated. I had surgery and needed a replacement medicine that she refused to adjust even though I felt terrible. I asked to see a specialist which made her very angry even though she complied. If we complained, the PA would just remark, "You seem unhappy here. Maybe you should go some place else." Dr. Aslam opened an office in Nevada and was rarely in the office, so this was the only way complaints could be handled. I am currently looking for a new doctor and only wish I had checked Yelp before selecting Dr. Aslam. read more

The only reason this office is getting 2 stars is because the front office staff were very kind and they got me back right away. Dr. Aslam is my problem. I went in with a few issues, not feeling well at all, but left with absolutely no answers. I asked her several questions to which she blatantly did not respond and I had to ask several times to get a response. She clearly was not paying any attention to me or my concerns. I left the office very unsatisfied and still not knowing what was wrong with me. After a few days of still not feeling well, I made another appointment with her because honestly I couldn't find anyone else that could get me in as a new patient. My appt was then canceled on me saying the doctor had to go out of town and I ended up in the hospital. I will be finding another PCP that actually cares about their patients. read more

Awful is an understatement. I've gone three times and all experiences were horrible. The last one being the worst. She's very judgmental, and offensive. I brought my son to one appointment where she told me I should brainwash him into becoming a doctor as if being anything else was inferior. The issue here is she believes she is absolutely right and perfect. The first time I went for a wellness check to get a discount on my health insurance she would not fill it out until the second visit. According to my insurance the wellness check should be free she charged me twice. The first time to meet me and send me for blood work, and the second time to go over the blood work. I don't have time to dispute billing but what I can tell you not one person in the office I work for paid for the wellness check. Third visit I nearly got into an argument with her about just completing a Pap smear so that if it came back abnormal I could see a specialist. I found this doctor on zoc doc and she is so rude. I've never met a doctor like her before. I've listened to how she talked to the front desk lady and she was talking to her in a condescending way. As a doctor the idea that you are superior to everyone and everything, and what you say is the end all of everything is very small minded. To tell me what my 3 year old son's profession should be is not apart of her job. Who he wants to be and what he wants to be is up to him. Never going back cancelled my last appointment and searching for a new primary. read more

This is the worst doctor and office staff I've ever encountered. I always ask a new doctor when making a appointment if the they accept Blue Cross and Blue Shield. I was told Blue Cross was good. I made the appointment and she did nothing else but send me for a chest X-ray. I told her I've had a X-ray taken about a month ago. She insisted she wanted her own. She was very rude about it. I had the X-ray sent to my oncologist and he said it was the same he had taken. She billed for $220. Then Blue Cross sent me a notification that she was not in their network. I was told she was. Do not trust anything she tells you. DO NOT GO TO HER! read more

If I could give this doctors office negative reviews I would. My grandmother had been to this office before and Dr. Aslam treated her like complete crap. We tried to call and get her reinstated for Dr. Sherpa and they denied her. How do you deny treatment to a patient that needs medical attention. After setting up a virtual schedule due to my abdominal pain she called me back not for my dire need to get a relief on my condition but to tell me that she's no longer covered by my insurance so I have to look for other primary physician. Of so much disbelief, I called up my insurance the following day only to find out that she's still very much active with the HPN network. I cannot describe my distraught feeling since I'm in dire need of relief of my pain but Dr. N. Aslam just ignore all that for whatever reason. I thought that doctors would normally attend to anyone of medical needs. This is the most horrible experience I've ever had. Maybe I'm not the best patient there is but I think I don't deserve this treatment from a doctor. Now, where can I get a prescription right away? Where can I get a referral for a gastroenterologist? I cannot drive with my condition nor call for an ambulance coz I can't afford it, huh? read more

I had been going to Dr. Aslam for a few years, but was getting worst doctor care as time went by. I do not have many heath problems, so was seeing her just once a year. Doing lab check, filling meds, and a quick check in with the assistant. Then Dr. Aslam would come in for 5 minutes, so she could collect more $$ for the office call. Then she wanted me to see her every 6 months, I told here I don't mine doing the blood labs, but why every 6 months.....She said, because I said so.. and you can't get your meds refilled. Okay fine, but not happy. Then she wanted me to come every 3 months. Told me I had high blood pressure and wanted me to come into the office anytime and they would take my blood pressure. I was charged 75.00 to have it check. She never told me about any charge, I was not even seeing her or the PA. I went into the office and talked with the lady that does the billing. No help, Aslam would not remove it. Soooo I changed Doctor, and guess what no high blood pressure. Would not recommend her to anyone. Not a nice person, it's her way or else. read more
