There is almost no time available for kids to swim if they're not in a swim class. If you buy an annual membership they will bill you the entire year even if you cancel after a month due to them never having open hours regardless of what is on the website and calendar. great for kids but no designated area exclusively for lap swimming. bought 6 days of passes and only 2 days of uninterrupted lap swim. Was told by supervisor "don't come on the weekends ". Hmmm , my issues happened during the week. lifeguards appeared bored. i could say more but it appears only public pool in town. good for kids but no one else. read more

We came here last Friday. It was my first time and I was pleasantly surprised. The lifeguards were all very friendly and my two boys had a blast on the water slides. There are three slides, a small lazy river (but no tubes available), a large "toddler/splash area" and a large wave pool. The only negative thing was the SLOW food line and the girl working the front desk was not nice at all. Other than that I think this place is awesome! Great job! read more

Only here for the summer but wanted to get my daughter swimmimg strong. 6 lessons in and she is doing great. When we started she had trepidation about going under water. Now she can swim across the pool with proficiency. I cannot express my thanks enough to the instructor (Rachel). She was understanding, patient, flexible and absolutely amazing with my little girl. The local aquatics center is a big hit with our family. It has three water slides, one of which has a tube slide which becomes a "lazy river." There is a kiddie pool with all sorts of sprinklers in it, and a wave pool that my oldest thinks is just the deal. The lifeguards are everywhere and seem to do a pretty good job. That's just the outdoor aquatics center. There's also three pools on the inside. Bring your own padlock for your locker, and if you want to rent an inner tube, bring $5. read more

We were visiting from out of town. I love this place. There are Indoor and outdoor pools, three large slides, one is for inner tubes, Lazy River, Large Wave Pool, toddler area. There are tons of lounge chairs around too. Not expensive at all for everything you get. I didn't look at the individual price, but it was $18 for me and my son. The rest of the family had their season passes. I live in Federal Way, close to Wild Waves. I would much rather come here!!! Clean too!!!! read more

At the Beginning of August 2014, Asotin County Family Aquatic Center rented out their facility for a private party. During this event, their staff made the mistake of selling day passes to a family that was not invited. This initiated a chain of events that should have included intervention by management at multiple points. The apparent renter of the facility (who identified herself as a local business owner) started to harass the mother of the children due to her presence at this private event. When questioned, the renter indicated that she had talked to management, but they were not responsive enough. To be fair, the lifeguard on duty did summon management as the situation escalated. Management offered future passes to the pass purchasing family and then abandoned the situation. The mother was required to suffer further berating by the renter. This included hovering over the day pass family, but also waited by the door to the facility to eject them. This was a humiliating event initiated by the facility's error and compounded by a lack of moral fiber and oversight. Management took the bare minimum steps to address the issue and should have done a lot more. Management should have provided a buffer between the two parties. Management should have been the one to address the pass purchasing family initially. The fact that management had to be summoned indicates that either the renter was lying or that management was slow to respond. Further, a full refund should have been offered as well as a full public apology for the inconvenience (this would prevent any rumors of inappropriate behavior on the part of the family who dared purchase day passes). Finally, management knowing that an aggressive dispute had arisen between two customers should have kept watch and intervened to make sure that the renter did not continue to harass a family whose only fault was purchasing a pass to this facility. I'm not sure if this was initiated by fear of the renter or just laziness, but this is no way to run a business. read more
