We had a great experience working with Jenny and Aspen blinds. The in-home consultation was super easy. Once we selected our blinds we waited for the manufacturer to ship our blinds. We did have a recommit date because the manufacturer was backlogged about a week. Not unusual in covid. After that install went very smoothly. read more

I honestly wish I could've given this company a great review. That was my full intention when hiring them. I have to conclude that most of these reviews are probably friends or family or even employees. Unfortunately, my husband and I purchased over $8000 in roller shades and dust covers. We got the roller shades, but they went horribly wrong shortly after being installed. Angela, the sales agent, was notified a few days after that the roller shades were installed that these shades were fraying and uneven and that one had actually fallen from its bracket and hit me, Causing an abrasion on the top of my head. As of today May 1, they still have not been fixed. We ordered these at end of March beginning of April. The dust covers, we actually canceled because it was taking too long, and the owner was blaming COVID-19 pandemic for the reason why they have not been installed, Geoff, the owner claims that it was productions fault, so which is it Geoff? The problem I have with all of this, is the fact that they were actually able to come out and pick up the money during the pandemic, But they can't come out and fix roller blinds? Also, I received very nasty emails from the owner of Aspen Blinds And Draperies Because I sent emails dissatisfied with customer service and lack of communication and product. Instead of being understanding and courteous about the situation, He was a blatant ass! No matter, we will never use this company again. Geoff, the owner, also sent three boxes of dust covers to my address, even after me telling them I wanted to cancel, beside the point, these are supposed to be installed by a professional. This is a very shitty thing to do! I understand custom orders, but if there's a problem, You don't force customers to buy something they don't want, For whatever reason. Just save yourself the hassle. Regardless of whether they have great reviews, you're going to take a chance of something coming up and going wrong. I actually think the reason why they've had such problems is because they have a little staff who has any ability to install these products. At least that's what Angela, the sales associate told me. Just know- they do not refund money for any reason at all. I am just learning this after all the problems we've had. They never told us upfront That there are no refunds after you placed an order. This is deceiving- They don't tell you everything! The reel you in, And then it's too late. Please go with somebody else. The owner even has gone as far as having his wife contact me. The person who installed our $8000 roller shades had very little experience and was left alone for 10 hours at my home to install these. I was notified by Angela, the sales agent, after the fact. She told me that the installer was a "newer installer". You don't have somebody with a little experience, install $8000 dollar roller blinds. This is a very small company in Orem Utah. Just beware before making a purchase with them. Do your research. I posted a YouTube video about my experience and showing the roller shades that are not worth $8000. Geoff Larson the owner, Saw my review, And commenced to harass me for posting it. I have a snapshot of it. He never even apologized, He did eventually remove his comment to me. He also removed a bunch of comments he made to people on Google reviews who posted a bad review on his company. If you look closely at some of the names of the people who posted five star reviews? These are employees, friends and family. With the exception of possibly a few decent reviews from actual customers. This is just a word of warning, at least look at other options and companies before you consider Aspen Blinds And Draperies in Orem Utah. Highly recommend this company!! My wife and I were in the market for blinds. We always buy lots of stuff at Costco, so decided to check there first. We almost pulled the trigger, but thought it best to get at least one more quote... We called Aspen Blinds due to a friend's recommendation, and we are so glad we did! They sent Geoff Larson out immediately and he measured our windows and gave us a price the same day. Geoff offered us all of name brand products we were interested in. Aspen Blinds not only BEAT the Costco price but they also added cordless feature to all 10 of our blinds we bought at NO additional cost. Late, incommunicative, unfriendly - cannot recommend I understand this shop was really good a few years ago, but my recent experience suggests it's gone downhill. I'm not sure what has changed. The salespeople promised glowing results and really talked themselves up when they visited. Prices were ok, but not extremely competitive--I thought I was getting top of the line service, so didn't mind paying a bit extra. Boy, was I wrong! When it came to getting the blinds installed, they were over a month late by the time the work was all finished, they didn't call to keep us informed of progress, and worse, they were unfriendly and grumpy when I called--always a real turn-off. Sadly, it's three strikes for Aspen Blinds. In light of my experience, I simply cannot recommend them. My guess is that because they are such a small operation, their priority with manufacturers is very low. As a result, they are lowest on the totem pole in terms of getting product shipped, so as the customer, you wind up with unacceptable delays when dealing with Aspen Blinds. Shops like this easily go out of business, which means you're taking a chance on getting any service after installation. In the end, if you can afford to wait weeks or even months for your window treatments to be installed and you don't mind very poor customer service, you'll probably do okay here. However, anyone can easily do better on price, timely installation, and good business practices with one of the other blind shops in town. I hope this helps. read more

After purchasing a brand new house, we called Aspen Blinds and made an appointment for window coverings. They came to the house prepared with many many options and listened to what I was looking for and suggested fabrics based on the look I was trying to accomplish. The installation was quick and professional and our window shades look amazing! We had aspen blinds provide window coverings for the entire house. After taking 8 weeks to manufacture the product it was finally installed in my home 2 1/2 hours after the scheduled appointment. The shutters look great but a small problem...I can't open any windows in my house. Contact Aspen Blinds to correct the issue, after 12 weeks of me nagging them and missed appointments from them, they correct the issue. I notice a peg from my kitchen table is broke. I ask them about it and they basically told me all he did was move the chair and it fell out...really and it just magically snapped in half? So, my review is to say that the product it great but the customer service doesn't exist. Don't waste your time with this company. read more
