The sidewalks are a variety of cracks and heights are a challenge to say the least. The restroom is so small you have to leave your walker out in the hall. Now my most recent encounter was an emergency visit as my crown had come off and was quite sharp. Dr Towler was quick to get me in immediately. However, I have this open hole in my mouth and I can't get in for 27 days just for a temporary to cover my open holed tooth. This is not a patient friendly response to an uncomfortable situation!

I did the stupid thing by avoiding dentists until my late 20's. I found Dr. Backus after a nearly 10 year self-imposed exodus from modern dentistry. He and his small staff set things right in a way I never dreamed possible by way of sedation dentistry. They packed in several years of work in a single morning. Me? All I remember is signing the paperwork. Imagine a stress free dental procedure (multiple fillings, a crown, and a root canal) with zero pain, and is if no time has passed at all. The team here is patient and kind, encouraging me to forego sedation for future minor procedures. They definitely rebuilt my trust in dentists as I have had a few fillings and a crown adjustment while awake Still, it's nice to have the option when catastrophe occurs. I had just had a doctor's appt where she told me to be careful what type of filling I get for medical reasons. When I expressed this to Booker & asked questions about what he uses he said he wanted my doctor's name because he was going to tell her she didn't know what she was talking about. I said that is very aggressive & he proceeded to tell me that I just need to let him do his job. He could not tell me what type of filling material he used or any health risks. He then started ranting about people who ask too many questions. I declined for him to do my work. His attitude & aggressive behavior is disturbing. He has an attitude like no one knows more than him, but he can't even tell you the materials he uses. I decided then I would not return. The next time my husband took my kids, the receptionist asked him if he was competent enough to make follow up appointments or if she should call me. Extremely sexist & just plan rude. My kids then did not return. My husband was the last holdout, until now. This week, he has an emergency. He was in a car accident & cracked a tooth. He called the office at 11 am to find out they had different hours for spring break... they closed at noon. However they didn't answer the phone at 11 am... he left a message to say he had an emergency. Nothing. No call back. He called again today & it says now that they are closed until Monday. He then received a message saying they wouldn't take care of him until Monday. Who closes their office for Spring Break? This business is so unprofessional. We're done.
