Customer service is important , but I received the worst experience I had! Dental tech has talked down to me, disrespect me, had an attitude, refused to answer my questions, treated me like I was stupid, yelled at me! Front office lied to me about having the dentist to call me! Has only one doctor! I'm very disappointed in this company in curry county New Mexico! Took my brother to pick up his new dentures, they didn't fit right so he can't eat with them, now his gums are so sore he can't put them back in. Called for an adjustment per website they take walk ins but the rude office person would not help him for at least 2 more days and actually said "we have other patients and can't get you in". SO I went to Aspen Dental two weeks ago with a really bad toothache. That first visit was great. everyone was so nice. I have a debilitating fear of the dentist. Irrational I know, but thats what t is. SO after the dentist did her evaluation I went to discuss cost. The two financial women went over everything that was to be done and they gave me a price that i needed to pay for the first 3 appointments. So I did, I paid $145.85 in total. DO this morning is my third appointment for a deep cleaning. (SO far they have only done and extraction, temp filling and 1/2 deep cleaning. SO I get there and I was told by the lovely receptionist that I owe $139.89 for this visit. Needless to say those that know me, I got furious. But I calmly asked why? what the charges were for and that i had paid already. she went to talk to her office manager. she came back and informed me that they DID NOT charge me for the temp filling, nor did they charge for this appointment. After taking many calming breaths, I said who do I complain/speak to about this serious overlook. SHe then proceeded to tell me I could leave and her office manager would be avail for me to call in a few hours. SO I left, crying angry. Back at square one! I have a serious dentist phobia. I called Aspen Dental out of desperation. Broken teeth, missing teeth and chronic pain prevented me from wearing the partial plate I have. The moment I entered the office, Blanca (Asst. Office Mgr.) put me at ease. She was cordial and courteous, and efficiently helpful. Rachel (DA) did a great job with xrays. I'm in a wheel chair but she figured out a way to get panoramic views. Jennifer (Hygienist) thoroughly examined my mouth without hurting me. Dr. Hoopes was so concerned about fixing my multiple problems. He also examined my teeth without causing me pain. He too, was friendly and I believe he really wants to help me. That's how he came across, in addition to exuding a quiet confidence in his abilities. Alicia (Office Mgr.) is a gem. My dental insurance was useless. She spent many minutes working out a way for me to get on a payment plan so I could get the work done. Jessica (DA) took my impressions and answered several questions I had. She, like everyone else, was friendly, put me at ease and took care to cause no discomfort. She also introduced me to Steve, the lab tech who will make my new teeth. He is friendly and funnyI The office has many calming pictures on the walls and TV is available. I don't know who hired this group of people or how they were found, but as a whole, the dental team is unfailingly courteous and compassionate, competent and efficient. I'm glad this wonderful group of dental professionals is in Clovis. My first appointment was yesterday; I have another today and I'm actually willing to go back. read more
