Absolutely terrible. Was very disappointed to have confirmed appointment both online and over the phone, only to receive a text while walking through the door that they want to reschedule. When I got to the front desk, the agent tried to state I had not confirmed my appointment so they had cancelled my appointment , until I provided the screenshot of my confirmation and the text messages confirming it. she then had me fill out new customer form, and I then proceeded to sit in the waiting room for another 2 hours as over 20 people came in and were brought to the back before me. I heard another gentleman complain to the front desk about his previous appointment being cancelled, while another person came in and were told their appointment was cancelled because they did not confirm. If I could give 0 stars, I would. DO NOT GO HERE! I have anxiety over going to dentists anyway, and having let my treatment lapse, I was extra nervous going in. They did NOTHING to quell my anxiety, and in fact made it worse. My first encounter was 7/23/24 when I made an appt for a horrible toothache and two cavities I knew were getting too bad to ignore. So I signed up for their membership, I go in, I'm there 30mins before my appt to settle out any paperwork, and it took them almost 2hrs to get me back. I get X-rays and finally talk with the dentist, who proceeds to tell me, even though it's listed as a treatment they provide, they don't do root canals (which I ended up needing one fixed) and that I was going to have to call someone else. So they gave me my $10k proposed treatment plan a referral for my root canal, and sent me on my way. Fast forward through getting my root canal fixed elsewhere, I called again to try and set an appt to have my two cavities addressed, because even though I'm now a patient, I'm unable to request one online. Called their after hours number on Saturday 9/7/24 and the person I spoke with was extremely nice, but told me she would put in my request and that someone would get with me on Monday. No one called. Three weeks went by and no one ever called me. So I said screw it and I made an appt with Hillcrest Dental, who got me in within two days. I'm not exactly sure why Aspen had my proposed treatment plan at such an extreme number, but Hillcrest is much more manageable, not to mention their bedside manner FAR EXCEEDS Aspen Dental. Went here for X-rays and an exam (advertised as free), and got hit with a 230 dollar bill a year after my service that would have been covered by my insurance (had they actually done their due diligence and claimed with my insurance). Waited so long that my insurance wouldn't cover it anymore. It seems like they care more about making money than helping their patients. read more

I have spent two years trying to get teeth that are implanted and being tortured by the office. They have been most the unprofessional group that I have ever met. When I started this evolution that cost me over $15000 they were very nice, but that ended quickly, they didn't have a dentist that could do implants, they sent me to Louisiana and they could not finish them either. The dentist that I ended up with, I could neither understand, nor could I get across my problems with her work! She put in a tray of stuff to get the procedure done and left out so long that it took 5 of the techs to try to get it out, with much pulling and I was screaming! I finally got a set of teeth that I could wear and they had the nerve to send me a bill for an additional $1880! Aspen dental said I had Stage II periodontal disease. I was prepared to have dental work done of cavity repair, fillings, filling replacements, and caps but I was not prepared for $1700 plus dollars for gum cleanings. I went to another dentist for a second opinion and was told I had no signs of stage II periodontal disease. My teeth are not loose, my gums are attached to my teeth, no signs of bone loss on x-ray, no pockets of plaque under the gum line, and no swollen and bleeding gums. My dentist today did recommend a regular cleaning but not a deep cleaning and definitely not three deep cleanings over 3 months before any dental work can be done. It is my opinion that Aspen Dental is doing unnecessary procedures just to make money. Do not go here. read more

Aspen dental on sangani boulevard is not a place that I would recommend to anyone. My experience has been a total disaster. I've had to have the same procedure to remove bone after my teeth were pulled twice which entailed cutting my upper gum line from left side all the way to the right side which I had to have stitches from one side of my mouth to the other twice. And I still have bone fragments that need to be removed. I also incurred lacerations to my inner cheek from the Dremel tool that was used to remove bone at the very back of my jawline. Not to mention all the other problems that I have incurred during this experience. And by the way. A friend of mine went there a few days ago she was put under to remove two teeth and one of them they pulled was the wrong one! Once upon a Time people in the medical field used to genuinely care about the health of their patients. Now the evilness of greed has taken over and it's all about the money!!! I pray that God will save us all! If there is a worst reading in the world selection that I can make that's what I would do. But because of the way they set the system up you have to give at least one star. No that tell you something right there. No free choice. read more

My son went in to get an absessed tooth removed today while getting the procedure done they broke the tooth from the root and told him it would cost $300 more to get the root out. He didn't have another $300 so they left the root in. How in the world could they mess up and then want to charge him more? I would definitely recommend not going to this place! The guy that makes the dentures is incompetent, you would be better off ordering dentures off the internet. These people do not listen to you, but will argue with you. The assistants are really not that knowledgeable to be doing adjustments and taking the place of the dentist. I broke a tooth last week and have been dealing with terrible pain all weekend. I went in this morning because I was told that walk ins are welcome. After explaining to the receptionist what was going on I was told to have a seat and she would find out if I could be seen. After 20 minutes or so I asked what was going on and was told to continue to wait. While waiting I called another dentist office and was seen within the hour. It's not as if the office was very busy anyway as there was only one other person waiting the entire time I was there. Either walk ins are welcome or they're not and maybe the sign out front declaring such should probably come down. Communication between the front desk and customers is abysmal at best. While on vacation in Mississippi, I began having severe tooth pain. I called (in network provider) Aspen dental and asked for an emergency appointment and I was scheduled for 9:15 am the next day. I completed my new patient paperwork online the day before and arrived on time to the office. After about 30 minutes, I was called back for x-rays and then placed in a treatment room. After TWO HOURS of waiting, I was still not seen by the dentist. I went back to the receptionist and asked to be rescheduled. I was rescheduled for A WEEK LATER. I called Aspen Dental back a few hours later and asked if the dentist could at least review my x-rays and call in a prescription for antibiotics for my tooth infection. Jessica stated to "give her an hour" and the prescription would waiting at CVS. I waited for 90 minutes, called CVS to check on the prescription and the pharmacist stated that they did not receive it. I called Aspen Dental back, but they were now closed. I called the emergency on-call number 6 times, left 6 urgent messages with the answering service, but no dentist ever called me back - EVER. The answering service finally called me back and advised me to go to the emergency room as they could not reach either of the on-call dentists. If you want to be treated badly, ignored, and have emergency medical conditions ignored, go to Aspen Dental. They are by far, the most horrible, negligent dental office that I have ever encountered. I have no idea how this dentist office is still in business when they treat patients so badly. read more

Wish I could give you less stars. I had a crown fall out on Friday evening I called the number listed at 6:30am Saturday morning to make an appointment for the following week. The appointment was set for Wednesday morning at 8:30. I was told the office with email or text confirmation. When neither happened,I called the D'Iberville office Monday morning around 930 to confirm. I made sure the office knew that I was a new patient and that I needed the crown cemented I arrived Wednesday morning at 8 o'clock for my appointment to make sure I had time for the new patient paperwork Around 8:45 I was taken to a room where I waited. Then I was taken for x-rays because all new patients have to have x-rays Then the hygienist had to look at my teeth. Then finally the doctor came in and said there would be no reason the crown could not be cemented back in. Then I was told I was done and needed to go to the finance office to pay. When I asked if I was going to have my fix crown, I was told no that new patients don't get the services provided on same day that I would have to make an appointment and it would be sometime the following week. I made it very clear to everyone I spoke with on the phone that I needed my crown fixed. They told me that I only told themnew patient that I did not say I needed a crown fixed. I really do not like being called a liar. How many people go to the dentist just to set up new patient account. Most people go to the dentist for a service. Do not go to this dental office! When I scheduled my appointment I said I wanted a cleaning and a checkup and requested a female dentist. They said no problem that there is a female dentist in the office I wanted to go to. So I go and they take a million X-rays and the the doctor comes in and it's a man. I let them know I was expecting a female and they seemed surprised. They said they did not have a female dentist. So he very briefly looked at my mouth and X-rays. A hygienist looked at my mouth and took some measurements. Then suddenly I'm being dismissed as if my appointment is over. I asked about my cleaning, the main reason I was there and was told that needed to scheduled at a later time!!!!! I'm still shocked that all this happened. In addition to to all that I would NEVER have gone back anyway because the place is not clean. The floor in the exam room was so dirty. All kinds of debris and even what appeared to be gum on the floor that was dirty and must have been walked over many many times. Also splatters on the wall from God know what. Disgusting! My second visit here--Dr. Marks & staff were amazing again. She genuinely cares ab your oral health but also your life circumstances and wants to help you find a solution! She actually listens to you and does not act like you are just a number. Her evaluation goes 'so' much deeper than just dentistry. Next, I sat with Jacquelyn D. and the lengths she went to, to "help me"(not to get me financed for their sake) but actually help me, were above & beyond the call of duty. Well, I have to echo most of theses reviews. I don't normally post reviews, but I have never been so insulted or faced such incompetence. I arrived today for a cleaning that I was scheduled for while on hold for 30 minutes inquiring about my wife's appointment on June 2nd. The aggravated receptionist asked me to take her off speaker phone that I was on hold for at the desk and said she could resolve my issue after waiting on another customer. I waited for her to finish and she informed me that they couldn't find my wife in the system because they were changing something in their system. She said my wife only showed in their current system as a new patient and she would have to fill out all the initial paperwork and all exams as if we had never been there (we had only been there 2.5 years). I told them the exact date she had taken impressions 3.5 weeks earlier for the crowns. Still couldn't find her in their system. These people can't serve fries at McDonalds. Sorry McDonalds no slight on you. The level of incompetence, lack of competence, and unprofessionalism is absolutely at the bottom. If you want the worst experience of your life THIS IS YOUR PLACE. I have not had any dental work done in over ten (10) years; past bad dental experiences. I knew that my wisdom teeth needed to be removed but feared the procedure! Yesterday I returned to Aspen Dental in D'Iberville, MS and saw Dr. L. Marks to begin the fearful journey. I was a FULL ball of crazy nerves from the time I parked my car until I sat in her chair. Dr. Marks came in, talked to me (explaining everything) and I EXHALED :0) She removed my teeth without ANY PAIN; honestly, I felt no pain. She spoke with me throughout the procedure and all of my fears went away. I highly recommend that if you need a dentist, go see Dr. Marks; her skillset is impeccable. So far, my experience with Aspen dental has made life easier for me. I had a tooth that was bothering me. I had other issues that needed attention and Dr. Marks, along with her assistants, provided excellent care by explaining what steps I needed to take.
