Sheryl the hygienists did xrays and cleaned my teeth. She has excellent people skills and made the entire process very pleasing. She is awesome at her job and gave top grade service. Dr. Venza came and gave me a though inspection. Explained what needed to be done. She provides excellent dental care. I have had her do my dental work since Fort Oglethorpe Aspen store opened. I am sad that she is moving to part time and is only in the office Mon, Tues, Weds. FYI: So I will not be visiting on Thursday or Friday. read more

This place wants nothing but your money!! I went in for my first visit in about 3 years. I knew it wasn't going to be a great visit, but I thought at least I'd come out of there with a cleaning. They took my X-rays and did an exam, which was not great, but not horrendous. The dentist came in and told me I needed a deep cleaning and had 3 small cavities. We talked about what that would involve. I then went up front to get my "treatment plan" and the price was $3,600 ($2,800 after insurance)!! I've had a deep cleaning before and it didn't cost me a tenth of that. I talked to them about financing and they offered $149/mo at 36% interest and did not tell me how many months it would take to pay it off. Totally a rip off. I couldn't afford that so I called them back a few days later to see if I could get a basic cleaning because I'm getting new insurance but it wouldn't pay for a deep cleaning for 12 months. They refused saying they wouldn't do anything once a "treatment plan" was done. I won't be back to this clinic, ever. All they want is money and don't care about their patients. read more

This was one practice with whom my insurance was contracted. Had a large hole in a canine (filling came out). They did x-rays, hygienist checked my teeth, dentist told me the tooth needed to be pulled. The option we discussed was extraction and implant. After insurance payment my portion would be $7,999. I got a second opinion. Second dentist told me they didn't take my insurance and an implant would cost $3500. He also told me he would get a root canal, referred me to another dentist and didn't charge me a dime. Third dentist did a root canal and a crown. My portion after insurance was $1,000. This appears to be a practice that contracts with insurance to get you in the door and then preys upon the client with overly excessive pricing. Do yourself a favor. Get a second opinion! read more

10/10 definitely recommend. Exceptional service !!!! Dr. Memic is amazing she did an amazing job on my surgery and checkup. She is so sweet and caring. Made me feel Right at home every visit. I love all the staff and how well they treated me. Dr.Memic always greets you with a warm welcome and a handshake. If you need your wisdom tooth pulled this is definitely the place. Also any other dentistry work Aspen dental is the place to go . They always explain everything they do and love to answer any question comments or concerns. Very odd way they handle a cleaning here, along with reviews. The care quality is poor, and the hygienist and dentist can't agree. I would suggest trying a different location and getting a second opinion. read more

The last week of December 2020, I finally got my permanent tops. Before I go further I did get the (top of the line comfy lites with lifetime warranty). As soon as I put them there was no suction at all. I was told that they'll adjust....the color shade was wrong and the overbite was wrong. I was told I smoke too much....and the overtime was shorter because of bone loss. When I put my temps back in she understood but basically told me that I need to suck it up...after 3-4 explanations of how to get out of doing anything I sat amazed. I got a life time warranty but it's only good if......hmm....apparently it's not an honored type of warranty...I paid 3000 and was told(to top it off) I should have gotten clip ins. I feel I got dismissed completely. They offered not one thing to fix ant issue. Feels like I wasted a year. This was a big disappointment considering what were talking about. Confidence, self esteem both go up as a result of a pretty smile....I look 10 years older and have to use a glob of adhesive daily . This was an unpleasant year getting adjusted to them and then to look worse with the new o esteem is ridiculous. I'll never go back....very disappointing read more

They took too many unnessary x-rays for initial visit. I have no dental issues. The x-ray girl was talking about a treatment plan before I even saw a dentist. He obtained no dental history. He thought I had tooth damage from reflux. I have damage fom childhood exposure to tetracycline, which every dentist I have ever seen has commented on. I think they just wanted to charge my insurance as much as they can. I'm sure I will, end up paying for some of those x-rays. The x-Ray girl told me they were free! read more

I have been going to this Aspen Dental for 6 months now. Dr. Venza and the hygienists are good however the office staff is horrible. I had a very bad first impression of them because the office manager tried to scare me into having unnecessary procedures done. However because the dentist over rode her and was able to work with me I decided to give them another chance. Just recently they totally mishandled an authorization I needed from them for my oncologist. Instead of owning up to their mistake they decided to make it look like I did not know what I was talking about. I understand things can get dropped and mistakes can happen, however you have to own it and apologize for it...especially when you are caught! I feel that they are extremely dishonest. read more

Won't be going back! I went to this location with a chipped tooth. The dentist told me that he would be unwilling to cap it, insisting it can't be done and that I get a crown. The bill came to nearly $2,800 ($1,600 after ins.) so I decided to get a second opinion. I went to East Hamilton Dental a few days later and they quickly took care of my tooth, put a filling cap on it and it only cost $100 out of pocket. It looks and feels great! They were very courteous, professional, and had an energetic attitude towards myself and the other patients I observed while in the office. I'd recommend them for patients of all types, those who regularly receive dental care, and those who just need some emergency work. They cater to patient's needs, and care greatly for all. I went in to Aspen for a cleaning and was very happy with the office and staff. Mallory and Courtney were very friendly and helpful in answering all questions I had prior to the appointment. Dr. Venza is amazing and was very thorough in explaining my treatment. Brooke explained treatment and cost thoroughly. Where do I begin? The front office staff is lovely. Beyond that... I just don't know how to say it... my husband went in just to have an implant recemented. With no compassion at all, the dentist told him that every tooth he had needs to come out and have dentures as a replacement. THEN the hygienist comes in on her high horse and says "well, at least you're married and don't have to worry about dating." I could have slapped the taste right out of her smart, inconsiderate mouth. How dare she insinuate that anyone with dentures is less than worthy of finding a relationship. Then, to add insult to injury, the office manager gives us quotes of over $6000 to over $18000 for dentures/implants! Pushing the high end model of course. And, true to form, the less expensive one was passed off based on the fact that "it wont look natural". WHY EVEN GIVE SOMEONE THAT OPTION IF YOU'RE NOT GONNA GIVE THEM SOME HOPE AS WELL????? This is a traumatic experience for anyone, but you'd better believe that there won't be any compassion or sympathy unless you pay $18000 for it. But, what can you expect from a 30-year old dentist and a staff that probably isn't that old. Moneygrubbing, entitled snots... probably kick dogs for fun... btw... this appointment was January 5th. Today is March 19th, so no... this is NOT a knee-jerk reaction, just to be perfectly clear. Had to give it 1 star... doesn't deserve that. read more

STAY AWAY. This place is abysmal. They tried to sell me $2,000 worth of overpriced and unnecessary dental work ("deep clean", crown, dental guard). I went to Charles Owens (Parkway Dental) down the street -- silver filling for $130. The hygienist there told me my teeth were fine. Un-f*cking-believable. I called Aspen to get my $30 "cancer screen" refunded. They said, "sorry, sucker." The dental assistant Kynsley was good. Everyone else at Aspen Dental -- the dark-haired hygienist, the blonde dentist, and the beer-bellied accountant -- were worthless. read more

This place is such a piece of work. I went to this place for some dentures. I thought that I was going to be paying $399 per arch as I seen advertised on TV. But that is only if you have a coupon that you print off from their website. If you do not have this coupon on the first visit the same dentures are $762 per arch. So the first thing they did was take an x-ray (which I couldn't understand why I need one since I have no teeth to x-ray) and then taken into a room for the Dr. to come in and rub my gums. Later to find out that the x-ray and exam was charged to my insurance company for a cost of $128. After the exam I was taken into an office and shown 4 sets of teeth that all looked the same. So as I was looking at these teeth they were fast on the computer checking out my insurance company she looked up at me and said Oh I am surprised how much they are going to pay. And I said ok how much am I going to be paying out of pocket. She said that you are going to be paying $800 and I said well how much is the insurance company going to be paying thinking that $800 was the the cost of the dentures. That when I was informed that I didn't bring in the coupon for the discount. Then has the nerve to tell me well with or without the coupon you are going to be paying $800 anywhere you go for dentures. Please avoid this place like the plauge they are only after your insurance money they got paid for the exam and I am still without any dentures. read more

I haven't been to the dentist in years and to my surprise I had a very pleasant experience. I was able to get started with my cleaning the same day and go back the next day to finish up other work. Everyone in the office is really down to earth and welcoming. Mallory was able to explain treatment and cost in detail. Hayley, the dental assistant, was great as well.
