Not sure why they have poor rating on yelp but google reviews are better. In my experience it was great. Stephanie was really helpful and so sweet/friendly, dr was prompt and attentive to my needs, and xray Tech was pleasant. quick and easy, in and out in one hour. I caught 2 iof the girls who work there talking about me while they were in the sterilization room and i was waiting across the hall in the lounge, they didnt know i was there. one girl looked at me and started laughing while the other girl says she is is right there. one of the girls did my xrays and have me a biting plate that was too big and gave me an attitude when i said i could close my mouth so she gave me a smaller one, i assume thats what they were gossiping about buy why? i walked out of a $2200 procedure that i needed to have done - because why would i wanna be somewhere that feels like high school? read more

EDIT: Also, don't trust that they are " relaying information" or " looking into the matter " or that they're " sorry about this experience". This is their BUSINESS MODEL. While I was in that second waiting room, I started to look into them and I looked even more into them after this experience. Aspen dental is a horrible company. Leaving the same review here as I left of Google because I'm pretty sure Aspen Dental pushes negative reviews down to make their business look better: Went in for a consultation/ cleaning. Went through the whole process of the X-rays and the dentist says I have a small cavity but everything else needs to be talked through with the hygienist. I found it odd that the hygienist was giving me an entire treatment plan but didn't start cleaning my teeth. She said I needed to come back every three months and would need my mouth numbed to do the cleaning because there was plaque under the gums. Okay. She then started measuring my gums and reading all these numbers aloud, that's when I started to think something is off. She told me they're inflamed and that's why I need this treatment whatever. Still no cleaning being done. She says my gums are in the 4 zone but on her chart she circled that I was in the 5-6 zone which wasn't true. Then I get put in another waiting room that was separate from the entrance. I started waiting awhile to speak with the woman about my treatment plan and payment I'm assuming. While I was out in that room I decided I'm not doing this treatment because there's a lot of red flags here so I got up to leave. I ran into the manager on my way out she said " if you're looking for the bathroom it's over there" and I said " no I'm actually leaving" and she caught an attitude/ tone " oh so you were going to leave without telling anybody?" I said I've been here for so long I need to go, she then said she told me on the phone that the process will be 1 1/2 or two hours long. While YES she did tell me that, she said it as if I was going to also receive a cleaning within those two hours. She then brought me to the office and tried to get me to sign up for this treatment that I KNOW I don't need and kept insisting that she told me about this two hour time frame. I told her I'm not going to be signing up for any treatments because I wanted a cleaning today and I see that's not happening. She then proceeded to tell me she can schedule me for a cleaning today but I need to be onboarded as a patient ( basically the only way you can be a patient here is to agree to months or expensive treatments). I told her I won't be a patient here then because I'm not signing up for these treatments. She then, with the same attitude said " well the doors over there and you can go". Once I left another woman who was waiting also left, I believe she also saw the red flags. And side note, when I was asked if I was on medications / birth control I said I was on both and was taking medication for my migraines. The hygienist then told me that my migraines are probably from my birth control and if I stop taking it they will probably go away. I found that to be super out of line and inappropriate to tell me even if it was just "friendly advice" I found it very weird that she would suggest something like that when it has absolutely nothing to do with being at the dentist... read more

They deserve to be a fraudulent company . You can't reach the office they schedule appointment and never bothered to call me to confirm they take our insurance. The day of, I showed up and they said we don't take ur insurance you can do payment plans. A whole scam !!! Stay away read more

I'm just looking for affordable dental care and thought this seemed like an option. It was easy to book online which I appreciated. I almost walked out when I arrived for my appointment and stood there for 5 minutes without being acknowledged. That's bad customer service. I had been told xrays and exam were free (how weird is that?) and it felt like they did a thorough job. I was surprised to hear that I had several cavities ( it was only 6 months since my last exam at another dentist) and then after a dentist and hygienist went over their findings I was put in a waiting room to wait for the office manager. As the room began to fill up with other patients I got restless as I was sitting there for 15+ minutes without explanation. I had already been there for nearly 2 hours. I was told they were "backed up". Would have been nice to tell me that prior but again poor customer service. I was taken to see the office manager who was working on my treatment plan and handed me an ipad to fill out personal information for financing. I declined as I was unclear about what specifically was being financed. I told her I hadn't had breakfast and wasn't expecting to be there so long and I needed her to just cut to the chase and tell me what I owe and let's settle up. She wanted to go over what the discount plan would do and I declined. I was over the upsell especially when I glanced at some of the inflated prices. I paid for an oral cancer screening that I feel wasn't worth it ( I got a mini massage of my jaw and neck for $30) and got out of there. I did feel like the dentist and hygienist seemed thorough but after reading other reviews I do question their reading of my Xrays and I will seek a second opinion elsewhere. 1 star because the facility was clean. read more

Office is aesthetically pleasing, and the technology is modern, and the office staff greet you pleasantly... That's about when things started getting weird. After my x-rays (which we're free, weird right?) the dentist comes to look at my teeth for 2 minutes and says everything looks great. Then the hygienist comes for what I assumed was my cleaning only to tell me that I have gum disease (never heard this before from anyone else before and I'd seen 3 dentists in the past year) and if so, why did THE DENTIST not say so??? So then she starts calling out how all my bone is bad (just had an implant put in a year earlier and my bone density was commended). So then she says I need to be put on a special treatment plan. Then without cleaning my teeth (which is what I came in for) I'm told to go to the office manager to discuss "payment options". I was instructed to enter in my personal finance detail before even learning what my insurance was covering .. the office managers smile was off putting, akin to the "mom" in Coraline or a Stepford wife. I had told them I wasn't filling out anything before I knew what was going on. Then the smile faded, and she wrote down the breakdown and I'd have to pay almost $900 out of pocket for 3 treatments. I had asked her why they chose to not charge insurance for the exam and x-rays, and why it would be free of charge to the customer. And she outright told me, they make their money from the special "treatments" their customers need. I got a feeling that 100% of the patients that go there end up needing an expensive "special treatment". I asked if I could just get my general dental cleaning without the special treatment, and they told me that they will not give me a general cleaning, only if I pay for the expensive plan. I walked out so quickly. I got serious bad vibes from this place. Avoid at all costs, they try to trap you with "aesthetics" fake smiles and "expertise" but it's a scheme to overcharge patients. read more

Very nice place and everyone was pleasant. My 1 star is because I went in for a basic cleaning, all they did was give me a bunch of X-rays and told me I needed a deep cleaning. The office manager informed me that my insurance only covered 80% and I was responsible for the remaining 20% which would be $400. I told them I'm not ready to pay that at the moment and I just want a basic cleaning. The office manager they wouldn't do that because what I needed was a deep cleaning. Basically trying to force me into paying the $400. To me I felt they were trying to take advantage and force money out of me. I called my insurance and they agreed that wasn't the way but unfortunately they can't help me out. I'm now filing a complaint with the state board of dentistry. I'm upset because I now have to wait another 6 months to see a dentist because this is considered a dentist exam visit with my insurance and I'm only allowed 1 every 6 months. I wouldn't recommend this practice to NO ONE. If you read the reviews of others, you will learn that this seems to be an ongoing issue at this practice. I went there for a bad wisdom tooth and a cleaning. They did a great job removing the tooth. However, they insisted on doing a full evaluation on my teeth before the cleaning. I told them I had no insurance and currently unemployed. The office manager proceeded to show me to options for treatment. One treatment was over 9k the other was over 2400$. Once again I reminded them about my situation and they had me make an appointment for a cleaning. When I showed up for my cleaning they tried to charge my credit card for $2400, without my permission. I only found this out after they told me that the charge ( I thought for the teeth cleaning) would go through. After questioning the charge and telling them again about my situation, they told me they can't do the cleaning without doing the treatments. I walked out and went to my regular dentist for my cleaning. They are sneaky and deceptive! As a side note, when I went back to have my pulled tooth area looked at the covering dentist was talking crap about the dentist that pulled my tooth. He was also bringing rude to the dental staff in the room. read more
