idk how some of these reviews are terrible, maybe new staff has come in since they've been left but i had a great experience! everyone from the front desk to the dentist who worked on me was absolutely wonderful! i made an appt online for x-rays and a check since i hadn't been to the dentist in about 8 years, and set an appt for two days later to have a couple of fillings done. my fillings were done in 30 minutes, super quick and painless! everyone was so incredibly nice, everything was super quick, and they also do payment plan options for people without insurance :) read more

I agree with every single one of these reviews. I wish I would have read them before I went. I didn't think I needed to tell them I need a cleaning because they knew I hadn't seen a dentist for over 6 months but when I went, they did X-Rays which I was confused about because I just did X-Rays 6 months ago and a dentist told me it should be once every 5 years. They never asked about my past dental history or told me what they're doing at all. The X-Ray was extremely painful and I started gagging and the lady had to ask someone else to come help. Then I got lead into a different room with someone else I didn't know and they still didn't tell me what's going on. Lastly, they told me little to no information about why I needed a $900 appointment so I said no and went to a different dentist immediately. How are they still in business?? read more

Do not go here! I should have read the reviews before I scheduled an appointment. They were quick to see me, but did not inform me that they would not be able to give me a cleaning until 7 months later! The staff was friendly and did to a full set of x-rays. I went ahead and scheduled my cleaning for 7 months later, which seems insane. My biggest issue is that the Aspen Dental billing department billed the wrong PO Box for my insurance provider, so my claim was denied. After many phone calls and investigation on my part I discovered what had gone wrong. The various customer service reps I spoke with from Aspen Dental were not that helpful and seemed unable to accept that they had billed the wrong PO Box, which is why my claim was "denied". When I went to my insurance provider's website they didn't show that a claim had even been submitted (because Aspen Dental didn't properly submit the claim). I went ahead and paid what I was charged because I was worried that my bill was going to be submitted to a collections agency, since it was taking so long to resolve this issue. Literally a week later Aspen Dental finally submitted my bill to the right PO Box and my insurance company paid the amount due. I patiently waited to see if I would be issued a refund. Now almost 2 months later I had the motivation to reach out to Aspen Dental again to see if I was going to get a refund. The helpful customer service agent infomend me that they had issued me a credit on my next service. I asked for a refund instead and luckily he seems to be able to do that without issue. We'll see if the refund shows up or not. I can not handle having to call them again! I've spent probably 5+ hours on the phone with this company trying to resolve their mistake. I have scheduled my cleaning at a different dentist office and will not be going back to Aspen Dental. read more

Needed a new dentist so we attempted with this place. Tried telling me I needed $6,000 in crowns on ALL of my front teeth as a young woman who has had no significant dental issues. They will try to con you out of money any way they can. read more

I have never been to a dental office where they make you come back for your cleaning. For the appointment today, all they did was take X-rays and a brief conversations with the hygienist and Doctor. Overall the care was good regarding the x-rays and brief consultation. Although, I am confused to why they schedule you for an appointment if it's just for x-rays and a brief consultation. They should distinguish that cleaning would possibly be another visit. I will probably not be returning next year due to the fact that I have to visit the office twice for a routine exam. I would rather just get it all completed in one day. Would have been 5 stars if they were able to get the cleaning done same day. read more

My daughter was seen for an appointment in early April and we have had issues with billing since then. My insurance paid over $1,100 for the visit and Aspen is saying it was only $772. I contacted my insurance company and was told an electronic funds transfer was completed on April 11th. I supplied Aspen with the EOB and now their system is down so they can't see anything. In the meantime we are being charged finance fees and interest for the balance we financed while they drag their feet determining if there should be a credit to her account for the money my insurance company already paid them. I would not recommend going there. Sounds like lots of billing issues. read more

I got an appointment with Aspen Dental around the first of July to see about an implant. They had me come back July 10 for a CT scan. after the dentist looked over the scans, she had me sit down with a another employee to go over the cost. when I first made the appointment I told Aspen office that I didn't want to do anything but a implant. when the Aspen consultant came in, she show me the first plan, which was a crowns, cavity, repair, partial plate, and implant. The cost would be $9510. and I told her that I could not afford that so then she comes up with her second plan which was $8118. After several different plans, we finally agree on $4846.40 which basically was the cost of an implant. We agreed that in late August we would start my dental work. In late July I had an accident and tore my Achilles so I called in and told Aspen that I couldn't make the appointment in late August. I was told fine make it when you can. A week later, I get a phone call from Aspen wanting to make that appointment in late August and I told them I couldn't. I would have to make it later. Last Friday I called into Aspen dental to get something going. I was talking to someone at the front desk and we were trying to figure out a day when all of a sudden she said I'm gonna have to hang up but I will call you back soon. it's been a week and I have never been called back. At this point I guess they don't want to do the dental work. After reading all the reviews, I am thinking I'm just gonna forget the $240 that I've already spent at Aspen Dental. What a rip off. This place is awful and deceitful. Their billing department is horrendous. I asked for an itemized invoice as my EOB didn't match what was charged to me. Never received. Called several times. Found out 6 months later I over paid by $222. I asked for it to be credited back to my care credit card that was used. I was advised "we prefer to keep the credit on your account for future services." I declined as I'm paying interest on these charges now. They said they'd talk to the billing manager about it. Never heard a word. Called again and was advised they were going to schedule me for a deep cleaning that this credit was going to cover half of. I advise again I do not want to schedule anything and need this credited back. I have called every week for 7 weeks now with promises of it being credit back and me getting a call back but this has never happened. Now they have had a security hack, but when you call, your told "our system is down" but they don't want to tell you the reason is your information being compromised. But it's on the news. We know! I have been more than patient and I'm disgusted with how they do business. Not even going into the fact that they wanted to do other work on my teeth that my new dentist has advise was completely unnecessary and costly for no reason. I am never going back, except to express my anger in person if my money isn't returned in the next few days. Stay away from this place and Dr Abby. She's rude and not a good at what she does. All the work she did had to be redone by a better experienced dentist. This 1 star review is way higher than they deserve. read more
