Great care here... infected tooth, tooth removal, dry socket ---- got me in same day and everyone was so nice!

Although the quality of care is good, the billing process is usually poor. I had to go all the way to the regional manager to resolve billing issues and get a refund for overpayment. Booking appointments is very difficult. I rescheduled several appointments in advance due to illness and work schedule changes. Now they will not book services in advance for me. I have to call on a daily basis to book an appointment. That is not doable because of my work schedule. They would not consider my circumstances and so I am moving to another dentist. The latest problem is that they will not transfer my records to new dentist even though I sent the paperwork they required over a month ago. I would not recommend this service provider at all. If you do choose them good luck, you've been given a heads up. read more

Run run run from this place. My husband went for dentures. Paid 7k in cash and 2k on a card and got to it. He got his temps that were Horrible and had to be fixed over and over. Finally time went by and asked for his permanent set. Then was hit with a "oh need a deep cleaning" and this fee for 500. We couldn't pay the money so they wouldn't go any further. They refused to give money back for a service not rendered. read more

I had to seek a new dentist because I found out that my then current dentist was no longer IN NETWORK. I had been with them for almost 15 years. VERY put out. I called my Dental Ins. and was told they were in NETWORK. I called and specifically stated the problem and that I wanted an establishing visit and A CLEANING. I never got THE CLEANING. I do need extra work and they refused to do the cleaning UNTIL I had this EXPENSIVE work done FIRST-$1,200+. CAN you believe that? REFUSING to give a cleaning? That is something is essential for good dental health. read more

A laundry list of complaints. First, they claimed some services weren't covered by our insurance when, in fact, they were. Charged us more than the allowable charge. Claims submitted were waiting to be paid, but Aspen Dental refused to submit the W-9 to our insurance, which is required by Federal law. After multiple calls, including 3-way with our insurance provider, they submitted the W-9 and were paid according to the contracted rate. They now owe us a refund of nearly $800, for services they claimed were not covered benefits. In the mean time, they forwarded the account to collections! They owe us money and sent us to collections! F@#king scumbag con artists! Avoid them at all costs! read more

Aspen Dental sent me a bill for $340 EIGHTEEN MONTHS after the date of service, with no explanation. I had paid $369 at the time and had had several visits afterward with no mention of any amount due. I have repeatedly called to ask for an explanation. No one ever answers the phone and no one returns my messages. Now they're sending the account to a collection agency. Very sleazy. read more

I went through the same thing as William R. I, too, went there because of insurance issue. Once I went through the numerous x-rays, I was then seated in the dentist chair. I knew I made a mistake coming as soon as I was handed a form to opt for an oral cancer check. WHAT?!!! I told them that my regular dentist makes it a part of her checkup; but, the associate said that theirs is done with a special light. That was a $30 charge which I refused. Then in comes the hygienist zipping through all my teeth rattling off a bunch of numbers to the assistant. Now I'm told I need a periodontal cleaning in TWO separate appointments, at a cost of almost $250 each. I let her know that at the age of 76, this was a first for me. Then the dentist came in. She, too, "suggested" the periodontal procedure. When I refused, she told me I'd have to go to another dentist; she would not give me a crown (my main objective) without those two procedures. Thank you. I was more than happy to pay the cost to my regular dentist for the crown; she's worth it. And then, I was made to wait to pay that day's bill for 15 minutes; the girl was "out to lunch"! I am giving this a two star due to the poor front end service. I am an existing patient I called in to make an appointment for work to be done and was put on hold for over 10 minutes and the front end receptionist continued to replace me back on hold 7 times; the phone would ring back into the office and you could heat a click and I was back to the recorded message until suddenly I was sent to voicemai. Sorry but you put the new calls coming in to voicemail and help the custome/patient on the line. My voicemail was not very calm. What if I were in excruciating pain? Receptionist needs training or to be replaced. read more

I'd give it 0 stars if it was a option. I am not one to usually post a negative review, but honestly, I would stay far away from this place. Especially for their denture services. I brought one of my parents here for top dentures and after spending $6k of pocket, not including insurance, we walked away unhappy with dentures that do not physically fit. And, these were the second permanent dentures they created, due to other sizing issues the first time around. We had an appointment just today and the dentist was far from helpful or reassuring. We explained the dentures were loose, did not fit, and had a huge gap in the back. Food was getting underneath them. At first, he would notice the gap and say, "Yes, I see the problem." He would then say it would be really expensive to fix the problem, but that he would do it, yet does not think it would help or fix the problem. Finally, he advised us to just "add glue." After expressing my disappoint and mentioned the amount of money and time we have spent there and my frustrations, he said there isn't anything we can do to help you and stormed out of the room. The nurses returned asking if they should re-schedule us and he said no we can't help them and stormed off. I called corporate to get my money back and go elsewhere. This place claims you'll walk away with dentures you'll love or your money back. But not once did anyone in the office even suggest that as an option. Or any solutions at that. I had a dental emergency, at least it was an emergency to me. One of the front teeth broke off of my denture. Not only was this embarrassing, but the sharp edges were cutting my lip. Aspen Dental in Tilton,NH was the only dentist office that would get me right in (I called quite a few dental offices). Dr. J. Park was very sweet and compassionate. Brianna Hamel, the dental assistant, reassured me that the work would be done that day and I would not be left without my denture. This has to be the worst dental office I've ever come in contact with. My wife and I were forced to use Aspen because of our insurance plan so we chose the office in Tilton, what a mistake. Once I was thru the door for my "new patient" visit I felt like I was on an assembly line, xrays, three minutes for the hygienist, 4 min with the DDS and then on to the sales dept. for a 15 minute high pressure pitch for a $1,700 crown job. My wife went a couple of weeks later and was 6 minutes late for her appt. When she called in from the parking lot to let them know that she was there the receptionist said you're 10 min late, you know your appointment was at 9:30, right? I'm pretty indifferent about this place. They obviously don't do exams and cleanings in the same day which I've always had in the past. I'm sure it's a billing trick, but the exam which consists of x rays and reading said x rays took well over an hour. They were good at getting me back in immediately and the hygienist did a very good job. They do try to upsell very expensive products. Just be smart and ask questions with what you're going home with and the billing of the products/service. Ask about your insurance coverage etc; because you could be going home paying for extras you don't need to. read more

First visit was fine. Staff were friendly. But they made me pay up front for next visit. Thought that was odd and was charged full price because the doctor they booked me with was coming up as not part of my ins network even though they said they were in network. Paid full price for a root canal and when I called back to cancel got a bunch of attitude from the office manager. No thanks! read more

Don't waste your time or money going to this place. All I wanted was a cleaning, they would only allow me one type of cleaning and it was 300$ out of pocket. The woman who "explains" payment plans was the biggest b*tch I ever met. They are far from gentle. I will never be going back. read more

they will try & work with Veterans but the denture lab is not to good the first set would not fit at all. Took 2 months to get a bottom plate & it did not fit right. The manager made a deal to make a 2nd set after I had implants done in Mexico. Well when I returned she was gone & left no notes. I was offered a 2nd set by Dr Parks but for an additional charge of 1000 dollars over what I had paid. I said no & offered half & he said no just give him his money back & I said fine. I am sure that it would have cost DR Parks more if I took it to court & I made him aware of this thats when he told the new manager to give me y money back. For normal dental work I am sure they are fine but not for dentures. read more

Every time I went there they would try to sell me services I didn't end up needing then they attempted to extract a tooth and after three tries I left in pain and had to find another dentist who effortlessly and without any discomfort extracted the tooth they seem to offer great deals to get you in there beware read more

I am a current patient and became a patient due to their flexible hours. I was coerced into putting money down on my last appointment prior to getting treatment which I thought was a different way of doing business. I just called to make an appointment and the woman on the phone was being very passive aggressive with me. It was clear she would not schedule me. I am in pain and need to be seen so I asked to speak with a manager who proceeded to explain the company employee's side. When I figured out that I was being refused treatment by the office manager I ended the call. If you need a dependable dentists that can see you in emergency situations, I am not sure this practice can accommodate patient needs and based on my experience employees are not interested in accommodating patient needs. read more

I am the director of an emergency shelter and I brought a resident there who has state insurance and no income. This person is in need of dentures and they were no help at all. They simply wanted to to "sell" us the most expensive set they could. Not sure what was so confusing about homeless and no money. They were very pushy and not helpful at all. They are VERY MUCH a chain business and not in it for the people. I will never bring another resident to their facility again! read more

Dr. J Park extracted my two molars. One molar I felt no pain during the extraction, the second one I experience some mild to moderate pain even with extra numbing medicine. She said it was because of the nerve. She extracted it very quickly though. Thank you Dr. Park! read more
