Counseling was not the bad part of my experience, I am assuming they are good counselors just may be working for the wrong company. During the one appointment I had my contact information was not confirmed. This lead to the office having the completely wrong email address for me despite still having the correct telephone number. I had believed my insurance was going to cover the visit so I was not expecting a bill. Almost a year after the service I received a threatening text message that alluded to Connections Counseling taking me to collections. This was conveyed over text message and in a unprofessional manner. Especially since I hadn't known about the bill and the company had not attempted to contact me via phone. After paying the bill over the phone I asked to give a review. I was harassed with multiple phone calls after this before finally getting to this form. I would not recommend connections counseling to anyone wanting to focus on their mental health. They are more focused on getting money out of their clients and their service is incredibly expensive (over 150/hr) comparatively to counseling you can receive online or through other counseling services. Please for the sake of your, or your loved ones, mental health services steer clear of Connections Counseling.
