I gave elite dirt and demo $50000 of a deposit in January of 2025 towards a contract or a bid that was originally $61000 on my property after incessant harassment from my neighbors. I decided to move on and sell my property and cancel the contract and not move forward with excavating. And what it was planned initially, I asked and told elite dirt and demo that I needed an invoice. I asked for it at least a 1/2 a dozen times it took 5 weeks to get an invoice which was inflated when in the initial interactions, and I gave them $50000 of a deposit to begin with. They told me they were going to take draws on that money as they did. The work the inflated invoice I received had pricing, right? Different things that were never discussed, it was it unrealistic and inappropriate for them to charge me certain things like communicating with me. As a contractor they called code enforcement, and the building department per my reluctance, and I told them not to, but they were doing it into the kindness of their hearts, and they charged me for doing that period now that it's down to returning the unused deposit to me. They said they would have it for me. In 45 days, it is now 65 days and they have not yet return to dime to me and continue to fight me. They threaten me today telling me that if I did these 3 things, they would release my money to me, which is blackmail. I am appalled by this company. And then come to find out they are not even licensed in larimer county. To install septic, so I don't know, I'm just super confused. I'm disabled. They're holding my phone, my money. It's $37000. I mean, that's a lot of money, and they think that I'm just gonna go away. This is terrible. I don't know what to do anymore. They refuse to talk to me. When I do email, they say that, I am annoying for trying to communicate with them. It has been horrendous.

They cut expansion joints into the shed pad with a concrete saw, but didn't bother to cover our fence our house to protect it from the slurry. Never came back to clean up after the job. They used my hose and broke the nozzle and never told me. They never followed up after the job was "complete" and never sent an invoice to collect the second half of their payment. Then five months later I got a summons to appear in court. When we showed up, Bailey was extremely unprofessional and downright rude.

I must say these workers did an excellent job and were very friendly and helped immediately to fix damages. Then our troubles began. Call after call she refused to give us a schedule for pouring the concrete using constantly an excuse with weather. When the weather would have allowed it she did not show up to finish the job nor give us any idea when she would do it. Though she never mentioned that we had to make a 50% downpayment when she showed up claiming she had such bad experiences with customers, I learned that once you have paid, she does not care anymore.
