Tony is the best. He is one of the least expensive furniture assembly services, but you would never know it because of the excellence of his service and handiwork. He shows up on time, he is friendly, he is extremely efficient and he is able to put everything together immaculately so your furniture is sturdy. He even hung our paintings! Additionally, when a manufacturer sent us a wrong part for our TV stand, Tony let us know right away, told us how to request the new part and said that he would be happy to return and not charge us for assembly until the new piece arrived. So glad I found this business! Best customer service ever! Quick response and great service! I was able to get an appointment as early as the next day! Text photos of the different items I needed put together and received a price quote and time frame for how long it would take to complete. He did a great job with assembly the items look perfect! Also unfortunately some items were damaged in shipping and he spotted the cracks immediately and informed me. He was also super knowledgeable about the pieces and gave advise and recommendations for care. He really went out of his way. So nice and friendly. Highly recommend. Tony is the man! I used to assemble all my furniture when I was young and & had a lot of free time. So when I moved to Houston, I just bought a new bed with storage and other stuff from IKEA. But when I saw four monstrous boxes filled by similar boards without any numbering, I knew I couldn't do it any more... So I came to Yelp and contacted him via email. The communication was super easy and the quote was reasonable. He arrived on time, despite it was rush hour and there was a major accident on the highway. Apparently he knows all the tricks of IKEA furniture. The assembly is perfect and super quick. Also he has very good communication skills. He asked me where I wanted to put my bed and whether I will use slats or spring box so that he can make adjustment accordingly. Super easy communication, and no time is wasted. read more

All the work was very meticulously and carefully done, and my job was unique combining old discontinued parts with brand new parts to create a wall of wardrobe sections. I had the tallest (almost touching the ceiling) piece options, yet Assembly Work (Tony, I don't even know if there are any others that work for him) managed to put it all together. He also took his time to correct things that I had installed a bit roughly on the old pieces (handles). He also gave me advice how to add to it, and also how to make adjustments to the doors if things shifted when I added shelves. read more

Tony really came through in helping us fix a sloppy job on our Ikea Wardrobe done by the Ikea-recommended assembly service. He also helped install some curtain rods around the house. I'm very happy with my Assembly Worx experience. I was able to get an appointment pretty quickly (even around Christmas time). Tony came right on time and was prepared with everything he needed. Even though the online reviews said the dresser was difficult to assemble, he was able to do it in about an hour. I gave 4 starts because it was a bit expensive to me for 1 hour of work, but that may be in line with the market rate for this type of service. read more

Tony is a PROFESSIONAL. Also a perfectionist. Two things I love. He did an awesome job assembling two very large Ikea "kitchen" cabinets in my study. Ikea would not assemble them for me b/c they were from the kitchen dept. which is treated differently than their other furniture. You must have a "plan" and hire a 3rd party contractor (minimum charge was $500). I found Tony on Yelp, he came out the next day, built the cabinets, made a couple of defective pieces work, and offered to come back and install latches that Ikea did not deliver with the cabinets. He asked all the right questions to make sure the cabinets would be located in the best space, anchored them to my wood paneled wall, w/o using the weird hardware supplied by Ikea, and just knew every little trick to putting the cabinets together in the best way possible. AND, at a VERY reasonable price. You will not go wrong hiring Assembly Worx. Awesome company, awesome guy, and I felt totally comfortable having him in my house. read more
