We've had Buckie's complete 3 projects for us now and will continue to call them in the future! We had them pour a concrete patio and driveway extension for us, and they even paved an extra spot for our trash bins with the extra concrete. A year+ later, it all still looks perfect! Second, we had them put in a privacy fence on one side of our yard. They're extremely timely, clean up well after themselves, and very hard workers. Our most recent project they just finished for us was fixing the soffit, fascia, and drip edge on the front of our home that was rotted. All the work and paint was complete in just one day! More importantly, they were extremely accommodating when I asked to change the color in the middle of the project. We had our Kitchen/ livingroom remodeld. Joe and his team did a great job...They came in very knowledgeable and got right to work. We even wanted a electric to gas conversion and he made it happen, where previous contractors said no way or it would be extremely expensive. He also listen when I wanted a built in pantry versus using cabinets which again all other contractors insisted on cabinets that i did not want. The quality of work turned out great! And when we had things we did not quite like Joe was very willing to change it up or fix whatever was needed! I would like to do a review for Buckies home repair they responded to me very quickly and they even came out to my home and gave me a estimate for much it would cost me to repair my home due to damages caused by Hurricane Beryl. The contractor who came out took his time looking at all the damages and explained to me why the damages took place and what it would take to replace parts of the roof and flooring that sustained water and wind damage due to the hurricane. I asked you at 10:34am if you were coming, I sent you another message at 11:12am, and you didnt answer until I posted the review at 12:07. You didnt tell me that something came up and you were coming. "No problem mam thanknu for ur time. We do a lot of work with investors ext" *I did not mean to offend you or top ut you down. I was hoping to give you feedback on what a consumer looks for, I was looking for a constructive conversation about my concerns. I asked you if you were a new business, because I didnt see too much online about you. Your website does not say that you are insured and bonded. You are not in the Better Business Bureau registered. Joe came out and we walked the property, He took pictures of all the bad boards and siding and agreed on a price. The crew was at my house at 7:30 the next morning and started to work. They were efficient and did a great job of replacing wood and caulking nail holes and joints. There were no runs that I could find. They put everything they took down to paint and hung them all back in their proper place. They then cleaned up and hauled off all the trash. The painting was ok. it was a little messy(paint on carpet and floor) but they were quick. Our problem with them was that they agreed to paint specific rooms in our house for a specific price and they did not complete the job. Unfortunately, we paid them before they finished, and then they refused to return to complete the job they committed to unless we paid $350 additional on top of adding money we paid for items we added to the list after the initial proposal. Refusing to pay another penny for work we already paid for, my husband and I had to finish the painting. Be wary of promises. They were not fulfilled. read more
