After two weeks of calling neurologist offices across Metro Detroit trying to find care for my mother, who I believe may be developing dementia, I was feeling completely discouraged. I contacted at least ten offices (some never returned my calls), and one person even laughed when I asked if they were accepting new patients or had any upcoming availability. My first call with AIN was completely different. My call was answered immediately, and the level of care, compassion, and professionalism Kristine L showed me was truly exceptional. She listened with empathy, treated my concerns seriously, and most importantly, helped me actually secure an appointment. During such an overwhelming time, her kindness and willingness to help meant more than I can say. This experience restored my faith in patient care. Thank you. read more

Honestly, I don't know if their billers are worthless or fraudulent. My insurance was billed for the wrong service. When I called to ask it to be corrected, billing department stated that that was the only way they bill that service. Definitely overbilled by a huge amount. Watching for a correction, else, I will pursue fraud reporting. The bills were full of diagnosis codes totally unrelated to my health or the reason I saw the Dr. The worst was when I was having the test done, I listened to bill collector non-stop call people (on speaker) to get them to pay outstanding balances. It made my heart hurt to listen to these people being badgered. read more

Do NOT consider this practice if you value your health and to be treated with respect! I was told by a family member they had a very poor and upsetting experience but, I was seen as a hospital patient and assigned to Dr.Kachadurian/AIN. Dr.Kachadurian has no bedside manner and his examination was less than brief. All of my contact with him and his staff was terrible. They are rude, curt and unorganized. They are quick to snap at you and transfer you on the phone. I tried to pay my bill using my ACTIVE account on the app but, there wasn't a bill pending even though I received one in the mail. I called and was transferred 3x and the last was to v/m. I went to the website and paid my bill. I placed a follow up call and was told I owed a $25 missed appointment fee. I DID cancel 2 days before the appointment, within their policy, with the option ON THEIR app. I sent a 2nd message 1 day before the cancelled appointment bc they sent me a reminder. AGAIN, I left a detailed message that I had cancelled the appointment 2 days before the appointment date. I called the office the am of the cancelled appointment and was treated with disinterest and disrespect. I was told you can not cancel appointments on the app, as they talked amongst themselves. If so, WHY is it an option? I asked to speak to the office manager and got v/m. I did receive a call that afternoon. We discussed the above listed and she said YES you can cancel appointments on the app and confirmed she could see my cancellation and following messages I had sent. See assured me I would not be charged the missed appointment fee however, today (the day I paid my bill) I was told I have an outstanding balance of $25/missed appointment fee. I called again and was told I could not be helped. I asked to speak to the manager and was sent to v/m. The ONLY saving grace was the early morning receptionist and MRI team at the Farmington Hills location. I would give zero stars if able. BTW I've been a RN for 34yrs and know this is NOT how to take care of your patients! read more

I've been going to this office for years for botox injections for dystonia (involuntary muscle spasms). In 2024 the office required payment up front because they were having issues with insurance companies. I complied with funds of $1600. A balance was kept in my account because my insurance always paid. In 2025 I obtained new insurance and when I showed up for my January visit gave them all my new insurance information. I received my shots and weeks later the doctor's office called to tell me that this visit would not be covered as they did not receive preauthorization from the insurance company. After numerous conversations with the "secretary", office manager, Gabby and billing department (Sharon) they have refused to accept any responsibility. They have used my $1600 to partially pay for this visit. I feel they are in error by not getting the preauthorization and/or by not telling me this was required for the visit to be covered. I am filing in small claims court. read more

I called looking for a therapist. The office made my appointment knowing I was looking for therapy after I had a mental crash. I visited and when Dr Mark Silverman entered the room he told me he was not a therapist. He asked about my family's history (knowing he just told me he wasn't a therapist) and is now charging me over $200 for a visit and after billing my previous HMO insurance company. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DOCTOR AND PRACTICE. They are a profit before people practice and have NO empathy or consideration for people in a mental health crisis. The pathetic handling of this matter is a simple coding by the billing department to own responsibility to understand they made a mistake to even allow me into the office when I clearly made my intensions visible from the phone call, to the arrival, to the room, and once I saw the room I knew I was in the wrong place and Mark proceeded to continue the visit after disclosing to me he was not a therapist. This is a pathetic practice and all visitors should be aware of the unethical steps this practice takes to make money. Period. read more

Pretty tough. A woman in the Farmington office answering service told us our appointment was in the Farmington office and it was in Novi. She had all the correct information and the lobby was empty when we arrived. There really is no way she didn't know where the Doctor was. The answering service sent us to the wrong office over the phone. Either really lazy or really mean but in any case, I'm praying it doesn't speak to how the physicians work. read more

I have seen Dr Bruce Silverman for 30 years and I have absolutely no problems with him. He always listens to me and never blows me off. The staff, however, are the worst I have ever experienced. They cannot give messages properly, never get a call back, cannot refill a prescription, can not update my new insurance and preferred pharmacy and are extremely RUDE!. My last phone call to this office was the last straw. Its a shame given that Dr Silverman is great. I can't go back there, EVER. read more

Worst experience ever. Saw Dr Mark Silverman on Tuesday, he ordered tests and physical therapy. I could not do PT due to cost and left a message on Wednesday telling him this and asking if he could suggest a medicine for my head pain. Eight days later and no word yes or no! Had a MRI scheduled for today, showed up ahead of time and they tell me it was canceled. I have to have it done in a hospital setting, not the office. Someone was suppose to have called me! During the past week, tried to find out my copay for test, one person told me 100, another said 150 meanwhile passing me from one department to another. my insurance told me 45. Who do you believe? The reviews about terrible service are true. My dad's been without his seizure meds for THREE WEEKS. The office won't respond to calls from his pharmacy. When I call the office I'm told that the prescription will be filled, that "there's no reason for it not to be filled," but it never is. I've called multiple times. The last two times I was told that the request would be marked "URGENT." But there's still no response from anyone yet again, and nothing was sent to the pharmacy. I finally called my dad's PCP this morning who filled the prescription within a couple of hours - and he's out of the office this week! Also, expect to wait forever to be called in for your appointment, and then expect to wait forever again before a doctor makes it into the room. Dr. Warra's great, but seriously. These people just don't care about service. It's that simple. It's just not possible that they could actually care about customer service and be *this* bad at it. Extremely rude staff that do not listen and misinterpret anything you try and say to them. I have had multiple billing issues, scheduling issues, and communication issues. I have had to wait over an hour on several occasions just to see the physician for 5-7 minutes. Dr Kachadurian appears to not take your concerns seriously nor does he take the time to listen to concerns about his staff problems. He appears to be a very argumentative individual who would rather complain about insurance companies or talk about Michigan Wolverine sports than listen to the patient and his/her complaints or concerns. Very disappointed in the MRI. My mother needed pain medicine to lay still for a long period of time due to a bad back. This problem was discussed at the time the appt. was made and she was told it was all taken care of. Upon arrival for her MRI we were told they don't provide any type of pain medication. She went thru with it but it was very painful. So inexcusable. Poor communication and lack of caring. read more

I've been seeing Dr. Mark Silverman for a number of years now, its always been a great and positive experience with him 10/10! When I switched to an HMO insurance, I specifically sought out a primary care doctor who would refer me to him. However, the office staff is another story which is why I'm leaving a 1/5 star review- Eileen from the Farmington office staff is the worst and I honestly would want to leave this office ONLY because of her. She is incredibly rude, argumentative and she will be both defensive and aggressive on the phone. She's hung up on me, talked over me, refused to help me, disregarded my concerns and I can't believe the audacity of someone working for a health care facility to think its ok to treat patients this way consistently. It is toxic energy. No matter how calm, polite, and patient I deliberately try to be knowing that she has such an attitude, it's all the same. When someone is in need of help, the last thing you need is this. Eileen should be fired but never will be. Look up the high amount of negative reviews directly mentioning her. It's shameful. The Novi office (staff I physically see when I go), are always super nice and helpful! When you call you will always get Farmington first but I ask to be transferred to speak to Novi directly now. I hope the doctors realize how much negative review stems from their office staff. It is frustrating and unfortunate that although I want to keep seeing him as my doctor because I really do like him, I feel helpless in that I know that the office staff remains to treat patients this way. read more

I was in need of their services. Sadly due to very poor management, they put me in a bad financial situation. They tried to ransom a medical report which I stopped. VERY rude billing staff and they do not listen to reason. I wrote them a letter after receiving one from them with inaccurate statements. In the letter I made it clear that I would pay once mutual acceptable arrangements could be made. Instead, after WEEKS I received a bill - to which I sent in a payment and indicated my schedule of payments. They sent me to collections. Very poor people skills. read more

I cannot really speak to the medical care - as I found it virtually impossible to receive any. For my first appointment, I wasn't seen until an hour past my appointment time and was then rushed out with a lab slip and told to come back a week later. When I went for my follow up, I waited in an exam room almost 2 hours, then had to leave for another obligation without seeing the doctor. Needless to say, I have found another neurologist to entrust with my care. read more

I got MRI Examination. You can get some bargain in medical imaging, but service is little bit slow. After the examination, one assistant gave me a CD and said that they send a record to my physician. I want to thank the staff for providing exceptional service that has resulted in my sister's hospitalization. Your commitment to her care is the reason she is still there. For the past 4 months, your ability to the communicate with others such as my sister's insurance company and her pharmacist has prevented her from receiving the MS medicine that she still desperately needs and still does not have. Thank you. I am sure she is feeling like family. Thank you for taking my sister's copays every time she visits the office. I am sure that she appreciates having to pay $40 per visit to be misdiagnosed. I am sure she also still enjoys suffering from neck pain. I am also sure that she appreciates your losing her medical chart, thus further preventing her from getting her medication. I really hope that her doctor feels that the quarter he spent for his medical credentials from the gumball machine at the corner store was a great investment. I am sure that my sister feels it was, as she lies in her hospital bed. I doubt very seriously that my sister feels like family. Perhaps if my sister's name were Becky or Kimmy, she would. Maybe if she would have gotten the quality of care that she deserves, she would. Maybe if she would have gotten her medication in a timely manner. Maybe is her name was not Stacha, she would. I was sent to see Dr Kachadurian due to my face being numb on left side and bad headaches. Dr kachadurian started with an emg. Which was fine. I also have an arcanoidcyst which required surgery in 2014. But these were not the same symptoms and had nothing to do with cyst. Dr orders an MRI of brain. I asked him to plz not just target the cyst as my last MRI showed that it was fine. I was also waiting on him to okay me for a surgery that my OB did not want to do until we had some answers. This was all in March of 2019. Neurologist who performed the other surgery had no problem ok'ing me for my surgery. But OB GYN wanted it from this Dr. So after numerous phone calls and being told I had to have a EEG, Ultrasound, Doppler, all of which are performed in his office by the way. At my last appointment I told this Dr that I needed his okay to get my surgery and that I was going to an Ent which he laughed at. But finally gave his ok. Come to find out he did only the cyst and not the right part of my brain. The Ent has found the problem. It is now 8/29/19. And I am still trying to pay off all of these medical bills. This man is nothing but an arrogant money grubbing who does not care about his patients and does not listen to anything they have to say. Find another Dr. and save yourself from needless tests and save yourself some money. Called to get results of MRI and EEK scan as I was told in 2 days. Not only was I the first caller in the queue, it still took 22 minutes for them to answer the phone. I was then transferred to 'records' only to be disconnected. Called back and got through in a more time frame of 7 minutes and was again transferred to records and it rang 19 times before someone answered and again, got disconnected after someone saying 'hello'. (of course, I would have expected, 'thank you for calling Associate in Neurology records dept, this is X' but no. Finally called again and was told the person in records was not In so they will leave a note on her desk to call us. Unbelievable! So unprofessional and unorganized! Can't wait to see if I actually do get a call back tomorrow with results. read more

Doctor Elkiss is as good as it gets. For 30 years he has been cheerful, polite and extremely knowledgeable as well as spending plenty of time with you answering any and ALL of my questions. He has done this since my very first appointment. On the other hand his staff are some of the most INCOMPITENT secretaries, clerks and clowns I have ever seen. Once I was 5 min late for my appointment and they tried to send me home after driving for over an hour. When I phone in for a script refill it always (for the last 10 years) takes 2-3 weeks before they give the request to my doctor or find the lost messages between each other. My own pharmacy tells me of the problems they have with the girls over there. Maybe someone other than me should tell them, these medications we take are life saving drugs that we don't just take whenever it's convenient. Thanks for the compassion. read more
