I also like how it has a glass door (wave to open) to separate the treatment areas from the reception waiting area. This place is where you can get massage therapy and acupuncture treatments. Each room is relaxing with tranquil or spa music being played (playlist is dependent on each practitioner). There is a basket to put your clothes and phone in the acupuncture treatment room. I see Dr Koh for acupuncture and she is wonderful. Very caring and she listens to your concern. In the past, I dislike needles so she usually uses baby needles or does more cupping on me. Now I still dislike needles but can tolerate them more, so I think she uses the regular needles on me now. Besides just cupping and acupuncture, she is a TCM, so she also takes my pulse to check how my organs/body are doing. She has suggested taking supplements and medicinal tea or avoiding certain food to help with the ailments. The front desk staff is always very friendly. Paid street parking out front. Sometimes I park at Anvil Center if there is no spots and walk across.

As a result of Shaun's care, I know why they go. I'm inclined to believe that more often then not it's because it feels good, rather than because they need it. 3. You know when you see an RMT and you're like "man, I wish you would put a little more muscle into it?" Yeah, well, that's what chiropractors are for. 4. No B.S.? He healed me. When I walked in I was truly suffering from some neck woes that meant I couldn't look both ways evenly. I got about 90 degree rotation on the left, but only about 80 on the right. When I left, I could go 90 either way. So I'm a fan. The office assistant was nice, the place was clean, I was fixed and comfortable... and now I'll be back. Probably for that other neck thing he said he'd do when I was comfortable with chiropractic treatments. And after that? Well, my pinky hurts, so I should probably go get an adjustment.

They would have made $320 off of me by honouring the package then going ahead and making the adjustments (taking promo down, etc), instead they will lose clientele. Customer Service goes a long way. Bad customer service is not forgotten. Also what about false advertising? I think I'll be reporting to Better Business Bureau as no exclusions were listed online.

It was mildly relaxing but given her first comment it seemed like she was preserving energy. A couple times during the massage she stopped entirely. (I think she was taking bites out of a wrap?). The massage wrapped up on the hour, so I paid for 60 minutes, got 54 of pack-lustre massage. Sorry. Can't recommend this place. Also the bathroom was dingy. There were no paper towels to dry my hands. She told me to use Kleenex, that's what it was there for.

Her portable professional massage table is sturdy yet comfortable, and she always brings fresh linens to keep me covered and warm. She uses a combination of traditional and Thai massage techniques, and focusses far less on minutes than on making sure I have a relaxing and peaceful massage experience. She's extremely knowledgable and experienced, even with special cases, like my wife, who has a spinal cord injury and required a different treatment than your average massage patient in order to feel relief from pain and stress. Gayle has a very pleasant, easy-going personality and is a pleasure to get to know. She's also great with kids, in case you have little monsters running around like we do. Once in a while we go over to her home-based clinic. It's recently renovated, totally accessible, has free parking and even a sauna. If you're used to "traditional" Swedish or other massages, some of what Roxanne does will be unfamiliar and seem a bit strange. If you can trust that she knows what she's doing (which she does) and experience it, at the very least you will have tried something new but likely, you will feel the benefit. If you don't want those things however - just tell her! She listens well and constantly seeks education on new techniques and healing massage therapy approaches. She also checks in throughput the session to make sure the pressure and other aspects are comfortable and acceptable. Besides that she is kind and generous with her time and knowledge.
