The hotel made a mistake by booking us on the wrong day but the hostess worked with us to get us seated. They were very gracious about that mistake and I really appreciate especially being a Friday evening and the restaurant was fully booked. Our table was on the ground floor which can only accommodate maybe less than 30 people but they also have space downstairs which we never got to see. I really love the look and feel of this restaurant. Modern, clean lines, beautiful lighting and subtle music in the background. It really made us feel so relaxed and cozy. In the US, a lot of restaurants are so loud that you need to scream at each other to have a conversation. SHAME ON US AMERICANS for being loudmouths :) Not here, even my fellow Americans customers that evening were in their best behavior which made the whole experience lovely.
The service was superb from start to finish. Special mention shout out to Lide and Julian who were our servers. It was very professional yet warm and accommodating.
The food is excellent, we ordered the seafood dishes and we were not disappointed. When in San Seb, you need to order Hake which is a local white fish. Im not sure if this restaurant has a Michelin star but if they dont then they should have at least one. It is not cheap but for the the food, ambiance, service and experience, I think its a good value. I strong recommend this place but do make reservations. read more
