Finding the perfect photographer to capture the right moments and memories probably was the most important aspect of our wedding day. When searching for a wedding photographer, I must have looked at dozens of websites, read countless reviews, but wasn't connecting with anything I saw. I absolutely LOVED doing our shoot at the Point Loma Lighthouse! I'm pretty critical of how I look in pictures so I was worried about weather or not I was going to like how I looked in them and was pleasantly surprised that I actually did like a LOT of them!! We recently hired Brittany from Astray for a non-profit gala. We saw the great reviews and loved the shots on social media and thought the team would be a perfect fit. Our first impressions were amazing. Astray gave us a deal, and sent over a contract immediately. After that though, we had some issues. (1) We were made aware a payment was not received, to which our accounting department later confirmed the payment was received and deposited by Astray. (2) We gave Astray a list of individuals to be sure to photograph, not all individuals were photographed. (3) There was a large gap in time between the event and actually receiving the online photos. Astray seems to be great for weddings and engagements, but perhaps not for galas with auctions and concerts. read more
