Also advertised as three miles from the nearest shop- again, none to be found. BUT, the cottage is gorgeous, hidden in a picture postcard garden off the beaten track with it's own private patio, complete with sun loungers and a barbecue. Inside the cottage is everything you need- cooker, microwave, tv, vacuum cleaner, and wifi. Towels and linen are included as are toilet rolls, washing up liquid. The owners live next door, so in the unlikely event you need anything, they are very accommodating. Overall, great cottage but the location needs to be advertised better. It's a great base to explore North Cornwall, but be prepared to drive!

The rooms in the barn are all en suite. The beds are very comfortable, and the whole place is so quiet that you can hear the cows grazing. Room cleanliness was perfect. There was also a great variety of tourist information in the rooms about the local (Crackington Haven/Bude) area and the overall region (Cornwall). There are numerous walking trails here that lead to a cliff-side walk around the peninsula looking over the Celtic Sea, and you can be there from your room with less than a 30-minute walk. The breakfast here was well executed and delicious (typical English breakfast - eggs, sausage, bacon, tomato, and mushrooms), and they had some of the best bread (locally baked) and butter that I've ever had in my life. If you are looking for a B&B in north Cornwall, I recommend Lower Tresmorn Farm without hesitation!

From the moment you walk in and are greeted by a suit of armor and a grandfather clock until you get to your room named after one of King Arthur's knights of the round table, you just feel like you've been transported to a different time and place. In your beautifully decorated room you'll find more of the little touches that make this place so special, like home-made snacks and a bottle of local specialty liquer. The next morning you will be greeted by a full English breakfast presented by a wonderful staff as you enjoy the view of horses in the yard. This place really is wonderful and is the kind of place you could really stay and just hang out in for days. The owners really know what they're doing and understand the hospitality business. If you're in Cornwall or visiting Tintangel than this place shouldn't be missed.

The hotel owners are incredibly welcoming and helpful; the views are great; the food in the hotel's Gallery restaurant is second-to-none (it was so good we ended up eating there most nights.and a couple of lunchtimes too!); and the decor (of both the rooms and the general areas) is of a very high standard; and the room prices incredibly reasonable. I shall go back again and again. Like I say, can't fault it!
