After discovering 2 pieces of damaged furniture upon unloading, the driver, Don Sims, offered me a "deal"......if I wouldn't document (photos) or file a claim, he would return to Tx where my daughter was about ready to finish building a new home and move her AT NO COST, since he "was in this area quite often anyway". I started to take photos of the damage anyway (just felt like I should) but he insisted that it was a waste of time since I wouldn't be filing any claims. I stupidly believed he was being honest with me and sincerely intended to follow through with what he said he'd do. My kids loaded up the desk hutch that was damaged beyond repair and took it to a charity (b/c it was too big for our trash pickup) . I agreed to his "deal" since the daughter's move would cost more than repairing and/or replacing my damaged furniture. Of course, when the time came to move her, he would not answer his phone calls nor reply to our text messages, so we had to scramble to find someone else to move her at the very last minute. I then initiated my damage claim to this company along with the explanation of what I was told by the driver, but have been denied. They tell me I have to provide photos of the damage. I believe this was all preplanned and an intentional scam but I am now out not only the cost of "full replacement coverage" but also the cost of the furniture they ruined.
