I went in to ask for a replacement battery for my phone. The short dude with Napoleon's syndrome disrespectfully and condescendingly told me they don't do that and he had been with AT&T for 9 years and never had seen that done. I informed him I have been with AT&T for over 20 years and they used to have technicians that worked on phones, in the store, in the past. He replied in a smug way, "Not at this store!" I read the other reviews and they are spot on. I know in a business, the lower level employees mimic the attitude their management takes of their customers. Sounds like they need to clean house in the Alice, TX store, starting with management and working their way down. Staff was attentive and let me browse cases, answering questions and explained the warranty process for the new screen protector on my new phone. I love that even though I did not get the phone in the store they were still just as helpful as if I had. This store is clean and well stocked in cases for iPhone XR, 11, and 12s. We will definitely give Johnny some more business! read more

I was humiliated and had the worst form of customer service here I do not wish this on anyone

I came in to buy a new iPhone 6. I told him I had Cricket phone service and could he transfer my info from my Samsung to iPhone. He told me my iPhone might not work with Cricket provider. I told him AT&T owns Cricket so that makes no sense to me. Apparently he didn't want to mess with it and I left. I went to Cricket and bought an iPhone 6 with no problems. There's plenty of good workers out there but I guess you have to weed through the bad ones first. read more

Literally got thrown out of the store because I was rightfully disgruntled about their own negligence First off I come in to try and reactive my phone because the CC Moore Plaza location deactivated my SIM card prematurely when I was attempting to try and upgrade (but that's a different story anyway) so I figure I'll just go to the local store because I live in Ben Bolt, TX 12 min away. I go in and the manager says that their is a wait for service, so he asks me what the issue is before reserving a spot for me. This part is very important, I specifically tell him that my phone was deactivated by another store and that I would like to get it turned back on as well as mentioning that I am not the primary account holder and that it was my moms account. The manager said nothing about it and put me on the list. So I assume that they will be able to help me. So when the 45 minute wait ended an associate came to assist me and I told him the exact same predicament. Including that I was not the account holder, that my mom was, that scumbag then had the nerve to ask my fiancé whom went with me if she was my mother...where both 22 yrs old!!!!!! I tell him annoyed that no she is not here I'm here, her 22 yr old son and he then says that she needs to be here in person, I offer to call her and get her on the phone with the exact same number that is listed on the account and he still rejects it, so at this moment my anger has finally boiled over and I let out the phrase "are you f*****g kidding me" because I just spent almost an hour waiting for help then being told to that I'm SOL. He denied service in an extremely unapologetic and unprofessional manner so I let my anger accidentally get the better of me. We argue and his manager orders us to leave and it is pretty much his damn fault for why it happened in the first place, I told him specifically what the problem was including the detail that I was not the account holder and he still willingly put me on a 45 minute waitlist for service. Had he had told me beforehand that I could not seek service without the account holder present I would've accepted that and left annoyed but not disgruntled and no issues would have occurred. I will never seek assistance from the retail stores again and will try to handle all transactions with AT&T over the phone which is far friendlier and even offered to file a complaint about the Alice store for me. I normally don't get angry enough about customer service to write reviews, but this one felt like it was for the divine will of god!!! read more
