It has UPF in it and that is important to me because I live in Florida and it is sunny too much, so when I walk/jog for exercise, I know my skin will be protected under that top.. If I were in Ft Lauderdale where I live, these clothes would have been probably $500 or so. Here the prices are more than fair. The staff are pretty nice. They have several fitting rooms. The store is cool. I can't ask for much more. They also sell high quality flip flops, bathing suits, hats and even more.

Mostly good quality stuff too! They sell really nice bracelets that are tagged to animals that have been cared for and released back into the wild. Gorillas, sharks, dolphins, penguins, etc. Really fun for the whole family. They have a frequent buyer program, the more you buy, the more discounts you get. It was a welcome change when we went into Boolchand's and met Gary Sharma. Gary was very knowledgable and helpful. He spent considerable time with us so we could decide what we wanted and then put together a terrific deal for us to buy the jewelry we selected. My advice would be skip the rest of the myriad of stores in St Thomas and go straight to Boochand's and ask for Gary.

When we said "thank you" to the cashier upon leaving with our items. And it's really not you if you find the cashiers sucking their teeth at you and don't utter a word throughout the transaction. It's them, I really think a majority of them are allergic to being nice. But we saw the best experience last week: Customer: "you shut up" Cashier: "no you shut up" Customer: " you shut up you're a grown woman shut up" Cashier " I don't need to shut up you need to shut up" Customer "shut up shut up shut up" Cashier " you shut up shut up shut up!" (While being dragged away by another cashier) Shopping and entertainment? We think so. We've also learned over the past few years that the items fluctuate in pricing. Earlier this year we bought a 55" tv for $850 the next few days we went back to get another one the price jumped to $999.99. There is no price match here, only a "I think we priced it wrong when it went out onto the floor". Same thing happened for a ottoman we purchased. We got it for $99, we decided again to get a second one and found the price jumped to $299. So lesson learned here, is that if you like it and it looks reasonably priced, it is probably due to human error, so buy it now before they catch the mistake. Also make sure you check expiration dates, they don't care if you take expired items or items a few days away from hitting those dates. The worst part of this store is the to go food counter. Beware of the undercooked grey meat and if you complain about your fries being cold be prepared to get a stinky look. The best was a few days ago the hubby asked 3 employees lined up (back behind the counter doing NOTHING )if they were going to give us our order and the response was a stare back and the cashier going off on them and still no order. This is one of the few stores with no hurricane damage, they carry Kirkland products and they are still receiving regular shipments so you can actually find things. What's scary about all of this is that pricesmart isn't that bad in comparison to other grocery stores so imagine of what you'll get to deal with elsewhere! #St.Thomas #USVI

These folks unfortunately are still cash only after the hurricanes and they dropped prices by almost 50% a few days before the hurricanes hit for portable battery chargers for phones ,flashlights, batteries, fans etc which was kind of helpful. Pricing has remained discounted so no price housing is going on here. The cashiers are not the friendliest, we had a huge ordered purchase last month and the lady helping us was visibly not thrilled with our carts full of items to scan. She kept on rolling her eyes and gave us the silent treatment. You folks should be happy that we're trying to give you $$$$. 30,000 residents here fled and aren't coming back, take money while it's here. Unfortunately this isn't the first time we've received this type of service and the cashiers here are the area of opportunity. Outside of the cashiers the employees that work in the printing section are awesome! I've used the printing center for a lot of work needs like gigantic posters and they are the cheapest place to print items like that on island (only $20 for a 3' x 4' poster) and they print them in seconds.
