This place is an absolute joke. I went in yesterday to get my commercial account upgraded. They wouldn't allow me to because my license had expired by six days but reassured me if I would go get them renewed, they could service my plan. Keep in mind I live an hour away from the store. I went today and had my license renewed. I came back to the store to which I was denied again saying I had to wait 30 days until the hardcopy of the real ID came in the mail. To assist store managers stood for 20 minutes, telling me they needed a passport from the United States government to service my cell phone plan. I have been with AT&T for 14+ years with my business. This is absolutely unacceptable. I only give a one star rating because there's nothing less and would give a -10 if it were available. Whoever the store manager is at this location, really needs to get a handle on things. There were a couple new employees in training that were super nice and accommodating but overall it is very hard to get help here. I thought it was ironic that the assistant manager said that the only thing they could do was allow me to pay a bill. Maybe they will get a real business plan together soon. I have been with AT&T for over 20 years. I stayed because of their customer service. Today in 1 minute they have caused me to begin the search for a new carrier.y wife and I have multiple lines with AT&T 9 lines total. We just upgraded our phones Friday (3 days ago) to include the new iPad. We had a problem Saturday with the screen protector ad made an appointment for today at 2. We show up at 2 and the kid (young Waldo looking kid) when we tell him who we are, proceeds to call my wife by her last name not Mrs, but just her last name. We tell him what we are there for and he is VERY condescending. It's obvious we "old boomers" are interfering in his life. I realize this kid is not the one I need to talk to so I just tell him, "can you go get your manager, I'm not fighting with you". Our total interaction from entering the store to asking for a manager was about 90 seconds. He is gone for 5-8 minutes comes out and says we have to leave or he will call the cops! I said where is the manager, the kid said he is too busy in the back to come out! We left BUT our business is leaving with us. Do all you can to avoid this corporate store. I went to the Official AT&T store in Elizabethtown . I saw Emily and she was beyond expectations. It was complicated but she went to every avenue to assist me and my service was restored to crisp and excellent service. I had a horrific experience at the authorized dealer in Leitchfield KY!! If I could give zero stars, I would. We spent nearly 3 hours in store and 4 on the telephone and they weren't able to accomplish ANYTHING. We wanted to return our NetGear hotspot internet because it has never worked. If you read earlier reviews. You will see that this is an ongoing issue. Att refuses to refund or stop our internet service. They say that we can't return the device for a refund, and they say only customer service can cancel the internet. When you call customer service, they say they don't see that we even have internet through Att. It's a nightmare. I have a separate ATT account and we tried to move 2 lines to my account and they couldn't do that. Everyone was extremely unhelpful and rude. 0/10 would never recommend ATT to anyone. read more

A customer for over 5 years and now looking for alternatives. Yesterday on December 10th, 2024 contacted AT&T about my cellular bill with a discrepancy about a charge. Recently, I had upgraded my wife's phone at our local store in Elizabethtown, KY. I was already frustrated when I was finally seen because although I had got an appointment online, the store was not managing appointments and walk-in's were being taken before me. I was seen 30 minutes later than my appointment. The gentlemen did well to defuse the situation and I ended up leaving with an iPhone 16 plus and iPad. Today I checked my billing to go over all the fees. The iPhone bundle that I opted allowed those who purchased the new IPhone 6 Pro to receive an IPAD for 99 cents a month. The bill I have reflects a price that was three times as much. Originally we were going to get the iPhone 6 Pro; however, the sales associate stated that the one we wanted was not in stock but the brought the iPhone 6 Plus out and informed me that the deal was the same. Flash forward back to today. Customer service looked up my deal. And no they will not honor the deal. The store told misinformed me. And they could only offer apologies. This shows me that they have zero accountability and offer very little to remedy discrepancies. read more

Very rude and they've lost a 12 yr. Customer,bought a 25 ultra they didn't have the color wanted in stocks I waited on shipping,went into store to activate was told I didn't have authorization to to do so even after showing my ID. Me and the manager went around and round bout this he wouldn't even recheck my account to see what was going on! Ended up me asked to leave store. Funny thing is when I called from. Parking lot to att. They had no problem with finding my account, either did the radcliff att store. Seems like I had plenty of authorization at both. I would rather crap in my hands and clap than walk inside this store ever again. They promised me a new discount, what they didn't mention was the hundreds of dollars in fees that came along with getting my account eligible for the discount. In six weeks, I was billed for almost a thousand dollars for separate accounts that they made without my knowledge. I was charged for the new account they created and expected to pay a monthly bill for each account, even though it was the same phones on each account with the same services. The corporate office validated that the charges were existent because of the new account but would not give a refund for their mistake. If it were possible to give zero stars I would. Their customer service is disgusting, rude and not helpful. I went in to exchange the iPhone 16 plus I purchased online from AT&T for the iPhone 16 Pro Max and was told by an employee that I wouldn't be able to because I ordered it online so I proceeded to ask for the manager. A gentleman came out and said the same thing and that because they could not see my receipt they couldn't exchange it. I told him that they could pull it online because it was an AT&T order and he said that he could not if it wasn't purchased at their store. I also mentioned that I had called AT&T customer service before getting to the store and I was told I could exchange the phone as long as it was an AT&T corporate store, which it is. I am a very understanding and patient person but when he proceeded to say that customer service lied to me and that, that was not policy I was getting frustrated. AT&T website advertises their exchange or return policy, stating that if it is an online purchase we can exchange or return at any AT&T retail store within 14 days. Funny how the store in Louisville was able to exchange with no hesitation and their customer service was superior! I rather drive the 45m than to deal with the customer service given at the Elizabethtown store. Management please do better. We were told over a year ago (at this location) they were going to be putting in new towers, our service is terrible in Elizabethtown Kentucky and surrounding areas, they need to understand we have about 10 + different counties coming to this location all the time The city of Elizabethtown has really grown in the last 10 years, WE NEED BETTER SERVICE AND MORE TOWERS, I was trying to pull up an app just down the road from the at&t store and couldn't even get my internet to load, we pay over $200+ for these dang call phones and you think you would get better service then this, I am really thinking about switching companies! Get it together at&t or you will continue to lose customers this way! It's not only for my entertainment, But I need it for my job! I live in a rural area that doesn't have very good cell coverage. I decided to see if AT&T had better coverage than Verizon. I went into the store on March 2023 to buy a new phone. They also asked me about my internet and I told them I have satellite internet because of the area I live in, I can only get satellite internet. They said I could get an AT&T hotspot that runs on the cell towers and it would be cheaper that satellite. I took both items home and the phone and hotspot would not work at my home. I had to drive almost 1 hour back to the business to tell them, they tried updating the phone and told me if I upgrade the hotspot to a business account which was more expensive, that I should have better reception. The phone still didn't work and the hotspot wouldn't work. I took both items back for a refund and told them to cancel my account. They were very pushy and wanted to do everything to get that sell and didn't care whether or not the phone or hotspot would work in my area. Update: It is 1-4-24 and I have found out that even though I returned all the items for a refund and had them cancel the account. They didn't cancel the account and continued to charge my credit card for the hotspot internet service for 9 months starting in May 2023. Contacted AT&T customer service and talked to 10 different people in two days and they still didn't fix the problem. They would tell your things they couldn't do, send you to different departments and keep you on hold for hours at a time all the while saying they were looking for an open agent that could help me. I will call AT&T corporate in Dallas, TX on 1-5-24 and tell them about my situation and they have one more chance to fix this problem or else I will file a suit in small claims court to recover that amount I am owed which comes to $647.00. I recommend that no one goes to AT&T for anything. Dealing with customer service is a disaster every time. I think they intentionally do this by sending you to different departments and keeping you on hold for long periods of time to make people get frustrated enough that they just take what they have lost so they don't have to deal with AT&T again. read more

I went in there about a week ago, and didn't enjoy my experience at all. I ruined my phone at the lake and went to buy the newest Iphone from here. I am 20 years old but I honestly look like I'm about 15. I don't mean to sound conceited but I had a job for 4 years until the place I worked at closed down. Therefore, I have plenty of money in the bank but the guy treated me like a child and like I was very stupid. I paid it there in full still being treated like I was 10 and didn't belong. He asked me if I would like to pay it off monthly and I said "No I don't want to be obligated to make payments." He asked me again and I answered the same. He then said "I asked you twice now, I will not ask you again" very rudely. Wanted to get internet hooked up to my iPad. They said no problem could be done for a $15 set up fee and $25 per month, so paid for first month and he took my iPad to back of store. He came back and said he couldn't get SIM card out of iPad but handed me a new SIM card and said I was "all set". I explained I wasn't all set since I couldn't use my iPad and asked for a refund. Manager said no refund, that I had the card, and that I'd have to take it to an Apple store or Best Buy and "maybe" they could get my old card out. I do NOT understand why they could not refund! Absolute awesome customer service! That is 5 stars for me! All cell phone locations are busy with every carrier (I learned this when shopping around). After breaking up with my provider of many years I was unsure with all the options and choices! Louis my direct contact and worked over his shift to get my transition taken care of! Brandon a manger in this location comes out and greets you! Makes sure everyone is doing good and I have to add Sarah and Carol - you guys are phenomenal!!!
