When I called the next day to ask for one for warranty purposes, the staff initially couldn't help me, which was frustrating. However, after I left my original review, the manager personally called me, got into their truck, drove to the store, and emailed me a copy of my receipt the same day. The manager was polite, professional, and genuinely wanted to make things right. I really appreciate how quickly they resolved the issue once they were aware of it. Great customer service in the end!

Very difficult to write, get money out of my purse, spoon anything into a bowl, etc. Thanks to the recomendations of Hempnotix, the exhausting twitch is completely gone with Delta 8 gummies. Got in the car with hubby ate 1/4 of a gummy. Well, I put it under my tounge for faster results. Within minutes no twitch and even more exciting trimmer was so slight. My husband witnessed how fast it worked. There is no high with Delta 8. It affects the body, not the head. I also discovered if I have not eaten and my stomach protesting to the point of near nausea, Delta 8 handles that beautifully. Love that!!! Yesterday, straight CBD was also recommended. Have not had time to give that a whirl, but will today. Lastly, I was in a very tense situation, I knew Delta 8 is great for anxiety. Grabbed 1/2 Delta 8 Gummie, slid it under my tongue. It must be a difficult store to work with all the people always in the store. I think it's universal, though. I've shopped Big Lots in Florida and Texas, as well, and all the staffers are friendly. Here is a store that usually has international groceries such as noodles and sauces from Malaysia, biscuits/cookies and stollen from Germany, and pasta from Italy. They also have groceries from the U.S.A. Of course, it's all about the deals and they have plenty of them. A word of caution is necessary. A few years ago, I noticed that they started to carry full price items and interspersed them with their discounted liquidation items. If you don't compare, you may be paying full price. In this town, there are few places to shop and Big Lots can undercut WalMart and Kmart easily, even at those stores' lowest prices. You've heard the cautionary statement "You get what you pay for"? It can be very true, at any of those stores. Name brands matter. Check for quality. Don't assume anything.

When the coupon was scanned at checkout, it showed that it had **scanned successfully**. However, we were then told that the coupon had supposedly already been used, even though we knew that it had not been. Instead of taking the time to look into the issue, explain what may have happened, or offer any kind of assistance, both the cashier and the supervisor were rude and dismissive. What made the situation even more frustrating was the supervisor stating that he was **"not going to lose his job over a 20% discount."** We were not asking anyone to risk their job or break store policy. We were simply asking for someone to investigate why a valid coupon was being rejected after the register indicated that it had scanned successfully. The way the situation was handled made us feel as though we were being treated like we were trying to do something dishonest rather than customers experiencing an issue with their system. There was very little effort made to help resolve the problem, and the attitude we received was unnecessary and unprofessional. Even if the employees were unable to override the coupon themselves, they could have explained the situation respectfully, and contacted someone for assistance. We ultimately contacted Harbor Freight corporate ourselves. **Corporate reviewed the situation, confirmed that our coupon was in fact valid, and gave us the money we would have saved by using the 20% off coupon.** I appreciate that Harbor Freight corporate made the situation right. However, it is extremely disappointing that we had to escalate something that could have been handled professionally at the store. The fact that corporate confirmed our coupon was valid makes the rude and dismissive treatment from both the cashier and supervisor even more frustrating. Customer service does not mean employees have to break company policy, but it should mean treating customers respectfully and making a reasonable effort to help resolve a legitimate problem.
