I was referred here because a family friend recommended it over other stores, but once they make a sell they are no longer attentive or helpful. I recommend heading over to the visalia AT&T on Mooney by Starbucks. The manager there helped us out in less than 30 minutes with multiple things the tulare store kept saying were not possible. I wanted to like this place because it was closer to me but I was ignored when i called multiple times for help also, in store the manager would avoid us and we would have to wait even with no people in store. read more

Showed up there tonight about 7:30 was told it would be a few there were other ppl ahead of us ok no biggie was there earlier in the day was told the same thing was in and out in about 30 minutes well let's just say the night crew don't seem to give a hoot about helping ppl they would rather sit and talk about tv shows cars and their dogs or if your the woman that was "working" just sit and chat with your friend about going to Vegas for over an hour makes me wonder were they having a competition to see who could care less about helping customers we sat there until 9 other ppl left before that not a single person was taken care of in that time frame you gonna tell me that it takes an hour and a half to do absolutely nothing?? 10/6/25: Management doesn't have customer service skills whatsoever. I first get there, one of the managers I think he said his name was Jorge, Hispanic with dark facial hair. He calls someone other guys name, waits a millisecond then calls mine and I tried to say hey I think that guy was first and he shrugs and says "how can I help you today" not sure if he didn't hear me or if he cared. I see the guy he called first storm out so I continue to explain what I need. He proceeds to inform me about either choosing a trade in or next up. And I'm not going to lie I was confused with how he explained. So I asked him more questions about it ,because I wasn't sure, he explains further and says loud with and attitude "you get it now". After there's a long pause then He says i have to go to the back I'll be right back. Takes a while, then someone else named I think Jose, I just know he had glasses and was lighter complected and he was a little friendlier, he helps me set up the phone real quick, then leaves to help someone else while it loads. Then Jorge comes back and says "okay everything good" and I tell him I want to do the next up option so I could get a new phone because they apparently only had iPhone airs so that's the one I'm stuck with for now. He tells me "okay you just have to make sure you're careful with the phone and don't drop it okay" he says with a condescending tone like I'm just some dumb female. He seemed annoyed and said *sigh* okay is there anything else. I'm fed up at this point. I said "uhh yea a phone case?" And he says "there right over there on the left side of the wall someone else will go help you" And walked away all fast to the next table. I'm standing there by the phone cases and no one is coming over to help I was standing there for about few minutes then I walk back to the table and just stand. Then a female employee (mind you she looked like she was just crying) was sweet and asked if I needed help and I ask her if I'm good to go and if that guy even put in the system that I wanted to do the next up option because he didn't communicate well whatsoever if he was gonna do it or what. I then get a text message TODAY asking for a survey for "NADIAS" service, but a Nadia did not help me, Because the only two people that "introduced" themselves to help me was Jorge and Jose. Has anybody else experienced paying their phone off and AT&T states they can not unlock a phone you have paid for? Also, send you a denied email stating you have requested to unlock it to many times so they can't unlock the phone try back in 30 days? Plus it's your 1st time ever asking. I wish I could give ZERO stars! Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced! All I wanted was a new phone. The first associate ordered the wrong phone and it's been a nightmare ever since. I have been to the store 3 times, have spent a total of 2.5 hours of my time just trying to get the phone I want, have paid 2 deposits and I still don't have my phone! This is probably the worst small town AT&T store I ever been to. I usually get my add on or accessories item such as AirPods with AT&T and had no problem with the store I purchase in Los Angeles AT&T. When I purchase with this particular store for an Apple Watch accessories, Brain the rep assisted me on doing that. I came in with the account holder to purchase the watch and he separate us because of Covid regulation. Brain did not explain what will happen to the account holder's account by purchasing the watch without paying in full. He fail to explain their will be a line set up if not paid in full. When he assisted me next to do the payment for the taxes, Brain was more interested about my personal life instead of explaining to me how the process was going to work within purchasing the watch. He saw my id, and presume to think I was the main account holder even though he knew I pay the main account holder for my line. He failed to acknowledge that. Later Brain asked if I wanted to purchase insurance for the watch. I said yes but changed my mind and said no. Brain said "Well it's too bad I put it in the system already." Then he proceeds it with "Just kidding, I'll take it off." He never did. The insurance came up within my account. He also said "You just need to pay extra $30 next month to who ever you are paying too." (He knew I wasn't the account holder and he still proceed to call me the account holders name.) He did not explain what for and he neither cared to explain to the account holder. When I finish my transaction, I received my watch by mail. When the bill came Brain screwed over the main account by adding a line and insurance without the account holder acknowledgement. When the account holder went to explain his case to the store. Angel the manager proceed to kick out the account holder out of the store and said that Brain was doing his job. I never experience the lack of customer service in AT&T Los Angeles stores. The distract managers need to focus on training their managers of customer service and how to deal with customers when their employees have made a mistake. The Just kidding jokes are not appropriate or professional when working with client or customer. They need to train their employees more on customer service. Brain never owned up and Angel proceed to kick out the main account holder. Thanks to Brain trying to gain more sales for his commissions, I have to pay extra for items I did not want to purchase along with the watch. Do not buy accessories with AT&T and go with the main source like Apple. Reps here are hungry for commission. read more

Just resolved an issue with my new phone purchased here ( Tulare store ). Voice mail kept defaulting. Got nowhere with the call centers overseas. Abraham, the local phone tech was patient and very kind in the way he addressed my concerns. I would recommend his expertise and pleasant demeanor. I wish I could give negative starts! Worst customer service possible! Emmanuel Barba AT&T ID EB5592 stated he was a "manager" yet did not have any manager codes to fix the mess another employee made. After 2.5 hours of sitting there (not including the time we waited after our scheduled appointment) and a 30 minute call to customer care, we left with the issue unresolved. We were told to return tomorrow to speak with another manager (hopefully a real manger) yet no one knew what time she (Jessica) came in. Apparently they don't have schedules there......interesting. I've never dealt with a more unprofessional group of people in my life. Every customer was in the store for at least 2 hours. While I was there at least two customers left upset. Their system lags and is obviously outdated. There is no reason anyone should have to be there for that long. I have been doing Customer Service for over 25 years. And I know what good service is and what it is not. With numerous employees working, and 8 customer's waiting, it was still a 45 minute wait before I could be seen. At that point I was helped by a young man that was unprofessional and pushy. When I explained what I wanted to do I was told that it wasn't possible. So I said I wanted nothing, then the employee came back with a slightly different story. When I said I still wasn't interested, he was quick to move on to his next person. During the entire visit, this employee, named John, never looked me in the eye. Instead he kept looking around the room. And he had to repeatedly ask the same questions over and over. I do not recommend this location at all. read more

Not sure what those representatives are there for if they don't provide any customer service. I came in to AT&T so I can get my state discount because when I called customer service, they told me that I can just bring in my state ID. Little did they mention that there needs to be an expiration date on the ID. They mention that I could bring in my recent pay stub to verify. So why is it not ok to show my badge and my bank statement showing that I get paid by the State of California? I understand that it's policy, but it would have been nice know this before I waited 40 minutes for them just to tell me that they couldn't do it. The lady who took my name down should have verified that I had the required documents before I waited because they ask you what you're there for and I told her. What would have also been nice is giving me other options since they couldn't do it themselves like doing the application online (I had to find out through customer service on the phone after I had left the store). Better yet, offer to do the application with me so that I wouldn't feel like I wasted my 40 minutes sitting in your store. It makes me even more angry that they showed no regard to my situation, they just said they couldn't do it and left me on my way. Horrible service. Been in there 3 different times over the last month. Purchased new phone for son. Was offered a 18.5 inch tablet for $10 per month, $100 down. Didn't want to make decision without my husband. Went back in 4 days. Offer had expired. Not just within the 4 days but 1.5 months earlier. Man who offered it was there. Only said, oh sorry. The newest offer of buy one get one free is a scam. It isn't that simple. You can only upgrade one phone but need to open a new line for the second phone. Was also told that though the commercial shows Samsung 7 they only will cover part of the phone. I'd have to pay $3 per month for 30 months. WTH then it's not free. The man that continuously keeps helping us is, Hugo. Horrible. He lies to get you to buy services and products from him. You'd think he was on commission. Though I leave I call the 611 number. The website plus call center and store cannot honor anything from the other. They cannot help in anyway shape or form. My phone service is great but as a long time customer of AT&T you'd think they'd offer you something. Nope! read more

Employees are unprofessional and everytime we go in to pay bill, they put us on a waiting list tht takes 45 minutes or longer when there is different employees walking around playing on their phones or talking to eachother. The female employees are the worst of the male employees. They dont offer to help and when they do assist u they make faces like they dont want to help. I think a higher up manager needs to re-train the employees or hire some new ones. read more

The staff at this store seems to have been taught that the number 1 priority is the "next" customer. They're plenty friendly while not paying attention to what I've requested. While filing an insurance claim to replace my phone, I had to make multiple trips to the store for help transferring data when any of the previous trips could easily have sufficed if one of the associates had taken more than a casual glance at solving the problem. The next experience was about the same only this failure on their part has a $55 restocking fee. Because of covid-19 corporate dictates that the store only allow one person in per/transaction. Being aware of my wife's lack of experience with newer smart phones, I specifically told the associate that my wife would like to upgrade to an i11 pro. I reiterated the "i11 pro" not the "pro max" just the i11 pro and was assured that this was understood. Of course when I got home and took a look, it was...the i11 pro max. Thank you so much! If AT&T is so understaffed as to find the need to rush employees through transactions, they need to rethink their business model! read more

Besides my actual salesman aron , which is completely wonderful and professional at customer service and in my opinion is a valuable employee that I think should be valued, kept & rewarded, thank you for your service aron, and then there were some other employees that are rude discriminatave and snooty. santiano who was one of the shift managers on duty on 1/26/18 was cordially nice and checked in on us periodically because of the behavior of the worst service representative I have ever came across, her name is MIZKHA . as I was waiting at a table for aron, he was on break and was not aware of this situation until after he came back. I have recently been recovering from the bronchitis under my Drs care which told me to stay away from any aerosol spray due to its irritants, I have avoided them and was finally up and ready to go on friday. we went to open a at&t mobile account when mizhka very rudely and blatantly sprayed a whole lot of aerosol twice around my perimeter, causing me to cough , I also took it personal and felt discriminated against, as she said it smelled like curry, after the second time I kindly asked her if she could not spray because of my health reasons and it was causing me to cough, the manager Santino saw what was going on and was aware of this , she got frustrated and hostile and told Santino that she couldn't stand the smell and wanted to take a break , he let her do so. I was upset, he apoligized and offered me to sit somewhere else also but the spray had already settled, he told me he would talk to her. she came back out after her break with no remorse, no apology. I came home short of breath , went to Dr, got inhaler and cough syrup and was advised to see my doctor regular Dr Monday . I woke up this morning still feeling short of breath and my voice which was getting better is worse. I am very disappointed that at&t in Tulare let their employees treat customers like that and not give them any necessary disciplinary actions taken. It has taken some of my time and money due to Dr bills and medication! I am taking further action so this doesn't happen to anyone else. On top of that, another service rep (white guy with whiskers) basically told me to move out of his way!!!! I went in to get help with my phone that has completely shutoff. Since I pay for insurance the employees told me they could get me the number to contact insurance. Umm...I'm physically in front of you, can you just help me out? Whatever happened to actual customer service where they call for and try to help you? they said "sorry, its policy" I left & called only to find out there's a $60 deductible on top of the insurance I currently pay. So I decide I'll upgrade to the newest phone, I go back in to the store. We have had AT&T for years and there has always been trouble with their connections. Today our internet and phones went completely out. We called AT&T and told them we lost service ,we told them we are a business and without internet we can not even process payroll. They told us the soonest they could come out was 5 days from now. How do you explain to your employees the payroll cant be processed because AT&T wont come out. How do you explain to your customers who call to get a dead line you are sorry AT&T cant omen out .
