I had been having some issues with my Nighthawk 6Pro Hotspot. It suddenly had a reduction in connection and download speed. Went through a few steps to diagnose the issue and checked with the "help" on the App. The App bot recommended I visit the local ATT store. I went by there this morning with the hotspot to get some assistance from an expert. The Winchester Ky store employee (Logan?) looked up the device and notified me that i didn't have the extended service and all he could do was sell me a new device. No diagnosis assistance at all. I've been an ATT customer for 35+ years. Seriously considering other options. read more

Went into the store to simply change payment methods as my bank issued new, upgraded debit cards. Told the associate this upfront. He proceeded to tell me that I may be eligible for another plan but didn't qualify and kept talking. I was waiting for him to change my payment method. When he stopped talking, he said I was all set. Come to find out 2 days later my hotspot no longer worked. Went to the store to inquire about the problem and was told I changed plans. I said I didn't change plans and reminded him the reason I came in previously which was simply to change payment methods. He said, "we talked about it." I told him he mislead me. After some spirited discussion, he became angry and said he was done with me and proceeded to walk away. I asked to speak to the manager and the manager said it was their policy to go through other plans that I was accusing the employee of deception and informed me to leave. I asked for the associate and the manager's last names because I was going to report them to the corpoate office which they refused to give me and said he was "kicking me out." He repeated the word's "I am kicking you out" multiple times in a loud, angry voice while holding the door open for me. Why would I agree to a plan with less features that costs more. I wouldn't. I would give them 0 stars if I could. It's buyer beware when doing business at the Winchester AT&T store. read more

Do not buy from Bradley at the Bypass Road location in Winchester, KY! He will tell you lies to get you in the door. I arrived 45 minutes after speaking to him on the phone and he told me that someone already bought the phone I was looking to buy. He also said that he couldn't sell me another phone I was looking at for my wife; I'm guessing he didn't have that phone either. I guess it broke his ego when I said it felt like I was getting the run-around because he immediately asked me to leave the building. From other reviews I've read, I guess Bradley's customer service is on par with the other staff members; lots of 1-star reviews. read more

Bought an XR iPhone at the Winchester AT&T store about a month ago. Had a decent experience with the technician to setup the new phone and delete the old. He took the time to explain what he was doing, was patient with questions, and personable. All my apps and contact info transferred nicely. But even though he promised me the photos would transfer, he lost about 50% of my approximate 2000 photos from years of being saved. Major bummer and upset. He said he didn't know what happened. Not technically sharp. Went back to AT&T today with an issue on the new iPhone. The home screen has continued to zoom huge 2-3 times per week making it unusable. Trying to shut down would be impossible as you could not swipe the shutdown due to the huge zoom. Seems the issue would correct itself after a few hours of setting unused. But frustrating when you needed to use the device. So I stopped and asked the tech (different guy) if he could tell why this happens and what I should do to prevent. He proceeds to tell me that this is the 3rd one today he has seen like this. Then tells me I must be using the 'triple zoom' effect. I say no - never have that I know of. Then he tells me to give him my password to unlock the phone. I say no thanks, I'll unlock it for him and I take the phone and turn away to unlock it. He then proceeds to delete my open background apps (about 10) - without my permission - and tells me I shouldn't have 40 programs open in the background. I say that it certainly wasn't 40, and that I close the open apps about every other day. He then chastises me in a derogatory tone and tells me I need to do this every 4-6 hrs. I say that is not what I came in to ask, and I didn't want those apps closed yet. He sensed my frustration and told me to 'just be quiet and listen to him'. So I asked again about the screen zoom issue. He asked for my pin # again to unlock. I again take the phone and turn away to unlock. He starts deleting and turning off switches from the settings. Then the phone locked again and he said now I know your pin so I'll just unlock it. He had apparently looked over my shoulder to get my pin. So he proceeded to unlock the phone 2-3 more times and changed about 6 settings without explaining or showing what he was doing. He handed me the phone and said it was fixed. I said: well, you did not answer my question of why and did not show me anything you changed, but I appreciate the help to resolve the issue, and I walked out upset again. He was arrogant and treated me like I was stupid. I do like AT&T service, but give this store '0' stars for customer service if I could. read more

My husband and I went into the Winchester AT&T to purchase new phones. The sales representative Daphne was extremely customer orientated and we were very pleased with her. She was successful in moving all my husbands information to the new phone without a hitch. My phone was having issues and she asked a co-worker what he thought the issue could be. That man was very rude and condescending stating that they only transferred from phone to phone as a ''courtesy" and some phones couldn't be done. Really? He was very ignorant about customer service and the workings of an iPhone. Bless his heart! As a former iPhone representative my knowledge outweighed his by a mile and my customer service skills left his in the dark. I asked our rep Daphne if I could just take the phone and do the transfers myself. She agreed and acted very professional. I feel that co-worker of hers could use some training though. read more
